I placed an order for a a few items and had never had a problem getting orders from either door dash or grub hub from George's and I love ordering from there , great food but today I placed and order and received my order and received everything but I didn't receive my bacon burrito, so I made phone call to George's Burger and spoke to a female employee and let her know that I didnt receive the burrito and let her also know that the bag was tied shut and she insisted that the burrito was there and I tried explaining that it is not in the order then she told me that I was wrong and that it was in the bag and so I looked through each bag and explained that I looked through each bag and again, I explained it's not here in the bags I received and her answer back to me with a raised voice and attitude she told me ( I don't know what to tell you !) I've gone to this place many times and have ordered from hear many times . And because of what just happened this is the last time I will ever order or go to George's burger again ! I would avoid this place and I personally will never come here again. Besides the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. When you order anything the Nickel and dime you. I ordered and they did not give me what was on the picture instead I got two runny eggs drowning in nasty red sauce and some overcooked mushy potatoes as fried potatoes. When I asked for a couple chips as the picture shows a couple chips the girls snarled and said that's a dollar. But it's on the picture I said. This location is never opened on time sometimes before going to work I like to stop and get some breakfast but you can get here at 6 AM. You get here at 6:30 AM and they're not open yet. It was very close to closing time. We were treated with a very good customer service and the food was amazing. The pastrami sandwich was very good. The cheeseburger was very good up to par the amount of french fries we got the amount of pastrami that was in the sandwich was good And I was treated very nicely by the girl at the counter. The Chicken sandwich is extremely delicious. The French fries are super crisp and hot and the fried zucchini is the same. They have a drive thru but we wanted to eat it inside so it would be hot and at it's best. The cashier was helpful and quick. The guy who brought our food out seemed happy with his job and that's nice to see too. There's not much to say about ambiance, they could use a remodel and the dining room is a single room so when it comes to other diners, you get what you get. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and a side of fries. He was very satisfied with what he ordered. I ordered a patty melt with fries and a side of zucchini. The patty melt had a very thin patty but it was still really good. The patty was actually seasoned and the onions were nicely caramelized. The zucchini is exactly what I've been craving for a couple of months now! Every other place is trying to get fancy with zucchini, quartered lengthwise. This was the perfect thinner zucchini fries. Went to pick up dinner tonight for the family spent $59.52 for 2 burritos, a corn dog, a chicken strip meal and a cheeseburger meal. When we unpacked the box at home they did not give me the cheeseburger. I went back and they asked for my receipt and I will admit I didn't think about it at the time but they didn't give it to me when I was at the drive thru window. I told them what I ordered and that the cheeseburger wasn't in the box. They again mentioned the receipt which I again told them they didn't give me. They asked the girl at the window who was the person that gave me my food and she said she put the burger in the box. I reiterated that the burger was not in the box. At that point I was done and said forget it I'll just go buy a burger somewhere else. I used to have to check the bags and box all the time there because they would forget to give me the ranch dressing I was paying extra for but until tonight anytime I've had a problem with my order they have been pleasant and given me whatever was missing. I will not be going back there for a while and I won't recommend it to anyone after this experience. No the customer is not always right but when someone spends almost sixty dollars on food and tells you that something wasn't received, just one item not like a whole meal don't you think you should replace it. And I understand wanting the receipt and that I definitely should have asked for it when it wasn't given to me. But your employee also should be reprimanded for not giving it to me. read more

One of the unique features of SoCal is the bountiful local fast food restaurants. I lived in the northeast for the better half of a decade and you don't see these types of places (but you do see many great local Italian/American joints, sans drive-thru). So, with respect to drive-thru restaurants in the area, I'll give George's 4 stars. Their portion sizes are rather generous, which can be expected for some of the prices. I've never had a bad experience with customer service. The cheeseburgers are certainly above average for what you would get compared to another fast food place on 40th Street which can be attributed to the quality of ingredients. I usually get the cheeseburger combo, pastrami combo, steak sandwich, or steak and eggs. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. But if you want a good feel for what the rest of the menu is like go with the cheeseburger combo. Also, don't forget to ask for seasoning on those fries! read more
