Angus Beef ShawarmaEntree
Vishal S.

Ordered the angus beef shawarma crunch wrap. The beef was overcooked and hard to chew. I do not recommend to order this item. Service was friendly. Ambiance was well lit and clean. I have had beater shawarma wraps off the street stands. I will not be coming back.

Honestly didn't expect much but this place surprised me! Got takeout and my plate was loaded -- rice, a good amount of meat, veggies, pickled cabbage, and pita bread. Everything was fresh and actually flavorful. No complaints at all. Will definitely be coming back!

Beef Koobideh Plate; Lentil Soup

Please do not ever get the beef koobideh. It's dry and hard and rubbery. The lentil soup I got on the side was pretty good. But the koobideh is really not it... The guy working there was friendly, which is why I gave that second star. Edit: yes this was from tonight's dinner. FYI, I don't like to leave low star reviews! I just had to leave a comment so others are aware of this one dish that misses the mark. The other items do look good so I hope to give it a try next time.

Today my boyfriend and I went to try a new restaurant for lunch and honestly it wasn't bad! Very open seating. Menu prices were reasonable. We ordered gyro with garlic fries and drink and an additional gyro regular size. Garlic fries as most places need to add seasoning (salt and pepper). Yes lots of garlic and parsley but, that's it with fries. Gyros is what did it for us! It was very flavorful. Will order again to see what's the difference between ordering in person and ordering online.

The food is 10/10. I first tried them on Too Good to go, and ever since then I've been obsessed! They have a nice big space to enjoy your meals as well. And the cashier, she had on glasses I can't remember her name, was super sweet and gave great suggestions

You know this isn't the best Greek food I've ever had but it was yummy. They're saffron. Rice was delicious. I would 100% get it again if I was in the area looking for something fulfilling and not very pricey.

This is a deceptively large location, well lit clean, and pretty nice. I always go for the 1/4 chicken fries and salad. The attendants are friendly and helpful. I used to go the other location on hope by the funicular station. The food has changed a bit over the year, overall a decent eats,

Juicy Saffron Chicken Kabob Pita Sandwich

After some shopping at Figat7th it was time for some dinner and George's Greek Grill was the place to try. Located on the lowest level, this place is pretty large in size, offers a good amount of seating, and has a pretty extensive menu to choose from. This place has sections on the menu for Burgers, Pita Sandwiches, Salads, Soups, Appetizers, Kebobs, Rotisserie Chicken, and even some Pasta. I was pretty hungry at the time and decided to order the Juicy Saffron Chicken Kabob Pita Sandwich with a side of garlic french fries. When I got home and opened up the container I was super stoked with the size of the Pita. The pita was jam packed with french fries, vegetables, and of course the Saffron Chicken Kabob. The Pita sandwich itself was really good and pretty much everything inside of it tasted great. The Saffron Chicken had great flavour and is definitely something I would order again. The garlic french fries were top notch as well, being crispy but not too crispy and being the perfect pairing for the peta. Overall, George's Greek Grill is a great place to have down the street. The large menu and selection offer a ton of variety and I will definitely be back in the future.

Catering Greek salad

Food and service is always amazing. Our company gets catering and box lunches all the time. My favorites are the kabobs, Greek salad and the chicken shawarma.

Tuna protein bowl

I don't understand what I got. I got the tuna protein bowl with the cucumber salad. Why did it come out looking like this? And why did it taste so bad and so watered down.

THE last plate served after the Dodger parade. Lucky me!

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.

The restaurant has a really homey feeling inside, with about four small tables that make it feel cozy and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. My partner and I ordered the chicken shish kebabs with mejadra rice, salad, and sumac fries. Everything was delicious! The plate also came with hummus and pita, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The hummus was smooth, rich, and perfect with the warm pita. Hermon helped recommend our food, cooked it, and even served us. She was so kind and made the whole experience feel really personal. She also offered us complimentary baklava, which was amazing. It had the most soft, chewy texture with just enough sweetness. When I asked her what the secret ingredient was, she just smiled and said she couldn't spoil it so you'll have to try it for yourself! Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

It's a little dark and twinkly inside which sets a nice tone. There is cool artwork adorning every piece of wall, the place is very easy on the eyes...including the restrooms. Very clean.
