A convenient spot to grab Mediterranean food in LA! The portion is very good for their price. I had: 1. Combo plate with chicken and gyro 2. Mix kabob 3. Koobideh skewer 4. Hummus

    Rosemary Grill special kabob

Fresh, flavorful, and authentic Mediterranean food! The kebabs were perfectly grilled, the Salmon Wrap was delicious, and the appetizers were amazing. Generous portions, friendly staff, and great quality. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Piece of plastic Saran Wrap mixed into salad

I just received my order from DoorDash (Mix Kebab Plate $29.99) and every piece of meat arrived dry and burnt!! Pieces were so chewy like rubber and cardboard that I had to throw the whole thing away. I'm convinced they just reheated day old meat and tried to pass it off as a new order. Wtf is going on?! On top of that, there was a piece of plastic Saran Wrap inside my side salad. Count your days Rosemary Grill... shame on you!!

I really enjoyed the variety of options and flavors at Rosemary Grill. The lunch specials are my favorite because you get a great bang for your buck. The Mediterranean food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, and the hummus was especially outstanding--creamy, smooth, and packed with authentic flavor. The manager, Jacky, was cool and suggested I try the tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious. It tasted rich, fresh, and gourmet. It was the perfect ending to an amazing meal, and I would definitely come back for both the Mediterranean dishes and the dessert.

Everything was amazing. The Food, the staff. everything was made to order and fresh. The restaurant is spacious and pie a lot of room with tables and chairs. Very conveniently located in downtown LA.

Ambiance: it's a Mediterranean food place in downtown, limited seats inside, good for takeout orders Service: staff here is very fast, and it might still take a while to get food during their peak hours Food: plenty choices for salad, wraps and entrees Lamb Gyro Plate - **** Served with Rice, Salad, Pita, Hummus and Garlic Sauce, salad wasn't that fresh, still recommend for the tasty gyro and garlic sauce Price: generous portions and decent quality, expect $20 per person for a fulfilling meal

Don't skip this place. Delicious food, freshly cooked. Friendly staff. The restaurant itself could be a little friendlier looking but trust me, the food is worth it. The kabobs especially.

    Presentation is good.

Arrived at 11:37 and it is now 12:38: Interesting that I thought the sign said authentic. Yet, the cashier cook, and workers are all Latin. Hmmmmm, I've had this experience before so I won't judge a book by its cover. I've been here waiting almost 50 minutes yet only 1 other person in the restaurant is dining in. I see that they are making tons of food but for DoorDash. Come on 6 meals have been prepared and I'm still waiting? So far the experience is not top-notch. So my food finally arrived and for the presentation it was good. Taste though it's not 100% as far as I'm concerned. It's lacking something. I should of followed my gut but no. I only had some and left the rest, just didn't do it for me. And I love Mediterranean food but this dud nit hut the mark, sorry. The actual ambiance is nice but that's about it.

    Real silverware! Well... real cutlery!

Food was nearly identical to Zankou chicken, but I actually liked to chicken a little better. Nice people, OK prices, but the room wasn't very comfortable and I was the only one there at lunchtime.

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.

Thankfully, we had a reservation, so our wait wasn't long. Once inside, the restaurant was buzzing and packed with people, but even with the crowd, the service flowed smoothly. The waitstaff was on point throughout the evening. The beauty of dining with a group of four is that you can order a bunch of different dishes and share the experience. And that's exactly what we did! For cocktails, we went with the Nebuchadnezzar, Semira, and the Khoda. Then came the food: * Hummus Duck 'Nduja * Chicken Liver Pâté * Fried Quail * Farm Cheese with Buckwheat Toast * Oyster Mushroom Kebab * Slow-Roasted Lamb Neck Shawarma * Wagyu Beef Cheek Tagine For dessert, we finished things off with the Fresh Peach Tart. Everything came out timely, fresh, and cooked to perfection. There were a lot of great dishes on the table, but the standout star of the night was the Slow-Roasted Lamb Neck Shawarma. Tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! Overall, Bavel was a great first experience. Good food, great energy, solid service, and the perfect spot for sharing a meal with friends.

Our waiter told us that they can accommodate larger groups which is great. I recently ate food at Saffy's and I didn't enjoy it one bit.
