Jalapeño cheeseburger
David S.

Bacon avocado cheeseburger is very good. Good size patty that is not overcooked. Lots of avocado. Thick bacon. I prefer mine more well done, but I'm sure you can get it that way. Onion rings come in a large to go container designed for a meal. There are a lot of them. Battered and cooked crispy. The drive thru was packed and cars were down the street, so I went in. Very friendly folks. Clean place. 2nd time going: Veggie wrap is very filling and fresh. Jalapeño cheeseburger hit the spot. Not very hot, just full of flavor.

We went to Gus's Drive In for a team lunch while in the area. We got a variety of foods and Gus' has a large menu so everyone was satisfied. The service was good and the employees seemed nice. They did forget the sauces for one persons burrito and he was not happy about that. Personally I had the patty melt which would benefit from a different kind of bread because it seemed very dry. I also had the greek feta fries which I loved. Everything was made fresh. Overall, I would return to Gus if I was in the area.

Mushroom Swiss burger with double onion rings

Not sure about this place yet. Food was not bad. The tuna melt was good but the Greek salad was definitely not. I think it's because the dressing they provided did not match. The mushroom Swiss burger was good. They have indoor & outdoor eat-in space as well as drive-thru which gets extremely busy during lunch. I recommend their combos as they are generous with their servings.

Gus's Greek Salad

You are not going to believe this place unless you've been here. It exactly what it says on the sign. Fresh, Healthy, Delicious Drive thru. They also have a surprisingly pleasant patio despite traffic and they have some indoor seating, though it's got a lot of hard surfaces so not as fun for sensitive ears. Fresh squeezed orange juice at a drive thru? A true Greek salad with pits in the kalamata olives just like god made them? They even prepared a low sodium version of their patty melt with Swiss for my wife's low sodium diet. If you're in the area, or even if you have to drive a bit out of your way this place knows good and then improved on it!

Chicken Ciabatta Chicken Sandwich

I called to place an order specifically because their menu doesn't say what the ingredients are. I ask what the chicken ciabatta comes with the girl on the phone never mentioned cheese so I place my order. If I would've known I would've said no cheese. I get my order and the cheese is all melted I can't even remove it off because it's all melted 20$ spend on a order that I can't even eat. I also didn't know it comes with a drink and they gave me a random soda (I don't drink soda) Overall terrible service I go out of my way to ask what the order comes with because I don't eat certain things & they can't even do a simple job.

Hadn't been in a few years Good portion good price and great taste ! I love that everything was fresh and made to order . The pita seemed thin and crunchy rather than soft and fluffy .

Was hella skeptical about coming here. Not use to the area, was doing a job near by and needed a decent meal that was close. Not to mention I'm vegetarian so my options were limited. Opted for the veggie burger and was impressed! Flavorful, juicy, & fresh! I would come back.

Salmon Wrap

I've been passing by this restaurant for months now , I decided to stop by for lunch I regret not trying this restaurant even sooner !! The food was amazing!! They have so many options to choose from even healthy options. I ordered the salmon wrap with half salad half fries to go it was so delicious , I took a bite in the car ended up eating the whole wrap before I left . The food was fresh made when ordered, I highly recommend this place 10/10 !! I will be back !

i stopped by after jury duty and was excited to visit my old work lunch stomping grounds. i was surprised that it was pretty empty given i stopped in during lunchtime. being that i was the only one there, i still had to wait at the register for 5 mins for the cashier to take my order. she was fixing something on the register but told me to stand at the one next to her cause she was going to take my order there. how about take my order and then fix the register? the food was good but not great. the food was almost room temp which was like "why?" also, the prices have really increased which i get but it was like 60% increase.

I'm so glad my coworkers invited me to Gus's today for lunch! I had a great experience, good service, nice patio. Love that their combos come with half fries and half salad (but I think you can get one or the other if you don't want both). I'll be back for sure!

False advertisement. Nasty quality food. I got liquid eggs. Not authentic eggs like the way I saw the egg pictures on here.

Breakfast Burrito
Don J.

It's just basic. First time here today. Clean and beautiful food presentation. Got the breakfast burrito and it came wet. Never had a wet breakfast burrito before so I don't know to ask for it regular. Habanero salsa was nice, but needed more flavor. Was not worth $15 price.

Avocado Chicken Panini
Nathalie R.

Been coming here randomly for years. I usually do drive thru, but last week I had extra time. The food here is always fresh and doesn't taste like fast food. I love that they give you the option of having both a salad and fries. The best of both worlds in the words of HM. They have a small parking lot, which we all know is more than we can ask for in LA. The customer service is very professional and warm. The people working there treat each other like family, which is nice to see. The inside dining is nice and they also offer patio seating. It's a very casual and chill vibe.

They found us a seat w/o a proper reservation, and the place was lively. Ordered the hummingbird, which was unexpectedly herbaceous. Tangy with smoky undertones. Refreshing. I quite enjoyed it. The husband got the bellhop, which he said was fine but not mind blowing. We ordered the Chicken liver toast, fried mozzarella, and chicken sandwich hot and spicy. The husband got the mussels. Chicken liver toast was served w mustard seed and berry compote, which highlighted the buttery fatness. The toast wasn't crunchy and a bit difficult to cut, but the pickled vegetables were fantastic. The fried mozzarella was simple and decently executed, somewhat generic and forgettable. Better than standard mozzarella sticks. The fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned. A+. That chicken sandwich was toothsome and juicy. Def worthy of a repeat visit. I'll be thinking abt this sandwich for a while. I've lived in LA for some time now and never made my way much to Silverlake and unfortunately not to 33 Taps until last night when I heard this was the go-to Knicks bar. I was NOT disappointed. Now, I was just a man looking for a sports bar to watch my team win, wasn't expecting much. So, I was pleasantly surprised when met with not only awesome fellow fans but also a kick-ass service team. That bar was so busy given the season and that was of expectation, but I watched the bartenders specifically handle it like a cake walk and even better, my drinks were FANTASTIC. From the Espresso Martini that got my not-so-young self through the night, to the Carajillo--those were elite cocktails and I had low hopes honestly. To end the night before we headed off to dinner, we stopped by The Semi- Tropic bar for drinks. The parking situation was difficult to say the least-- there is no street parking or parking lot. And the neighborhood behind the bar is filled with park cars. We were lucky and parked at a parking lot that was for the surrounding business (so sorry to the pizza/ weed shop!). We arrived at around 6:30 PM so it wasn't too busy. We were greeted by one of the servers and she gave us options to either sit at a lounge table area or hightop tables. We opted for the hightop tables because we knew we weren't staying there for long. The server was friendly and patient as we looked over the menu for drinks. I've been sober for about a year so I only had water, my boyfriend ordered a Naoshima Dream, his cousin ordered a Mango Cart, and his cousin's girlfriend ordered a Lemon Drop Martini. The bar was super cute and hipster! I honestly would have loved going to this bar back when I used to drink. It's dimly lit, had a vintage 20's speakeasy feel to it and the music was a vibe. I'd recommend coming here for a little date with your partner or even coming with a group of friends. My boyfriend had been here once before and he said the food was really good and affordable. He had a panini and said for bar food it was a 10/10. We waited maybe like 10 minutes for our drinks to come, we were having such a fun time chatting and enjoying the environment that it didn't feel long at all. My boyfriend, his cousin, and his cousin's girlfriend really enjoyed their drinks. They said the drinks tasted "light" insinuating that there was barely any alcohol in it. Don't let the taste fool you, after finishing half of their drink there were full of smiles, giggles, and had a great buzz going. The prices here were all pretty fair for the cost and quality of the drinks. Would defintely recommend coming here for drinks and dinner for a date night or a night out with friends!

It looks like a typical trendy coffee shop, which I'm not mad about, but I feel like you'd only know to come here for lunch if someone told you about it beforehand. I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. Pro tip: the lunch menu starts at 10:30 a.m. The sandwich didn't look like much at first, but one bite in and I was sold. It has all the basics you'd want in a turkey avocado sandwich, but what really stood out were the generous portions. They definitely don't skimp on the ingredients. The real star, though, was the aged balsamic glaze. Whatever magical concoction they're using, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness and ties everything together. I know some people don't like sweet elements in their sandwiches, but that's their loss and more for me. It was absolutely delicious.
