Bacon Breakfast Burrito w/ a really great salsa!
Christine C.

I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito this morning and was not disappointed! It was fantastic! The flavor was so good with a hint of spice and lots of crispy bacon throughout! Don't forget the salsa. George gave a generous side to enjoy with the entire thing! He was also very nice and we had a great conversation. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!!

Chicken Panini and Vegan Quinoa Salad

I ordered the chicken panini and vegan quinoa salad today from Postmates. It was really tasty, I loved it. Definitely will be ordering from here more often! I highly recommend.

Ham & Cheese Breakfast Burrito

You have to eat George's Birria Tacos, breakfast burritos or panini sandwiches, wow it's amazing. This is a hidden gem. George takes pride in his craft. He has been catering to the New York Film Academy, Disney Animation and Warner Brothers for years now. Due to the pandemic he decided to go public with his craft and I'm excited to get the opportunity to finally order from him directly instead of eating at the studio lots.

The servers brought out water dishes and treats on a silver tray for the dogs- true service! I missed happy hour, but tried a themed cocktail, the onion rings, and the truffle burger. It was all great! My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and our server was great. It seemed like a lot of regulars were there, which helped contribute to the overall good vibes. That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well

Don't forget your wallet, as you're in the hundo range, per person, once that crisp napkin is placed in your lap. Worth it? Yes! A beautiful, beautiful restaurant with a classic (and classy) dining room, private rooms that look very cosy (and were all full when I stopped in for a birthday dinner), and a mile long bar with booths, tables and of course the bar. From the host/hostess stand to the servers to the runners, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Valet and tons of street parking adjacent if you're not in heels. It's a steak house at its core, but do not sleep on the salmon -- super delicious and you're getting the omega-3 fatty acids for healthmaxxing. Robbie B tip: the happy hour. Reduced price wine glasses and small bites (but actually pretty big portions) of fancy bar food. Sliders, fries, mini lamb chops; it's a whole meal in there. The trout and asparagus really stood out. I'm going to be craving the trout when I'm back home. The bread grilled with duck fat was unhinged and extremely decadent. For dessert, I recommend the split-- talk about decadent layers of flavors and textures! I need to learn how bruleéd bananas are made now, because that was a whole revelation. We also tried the flourless chocolate cake, which wasn't sweet and had a salty crust. It was a bit too grown-up of a set if flavors for the kid who ordered it. I loved the port soaked cherries that came with it, though. The berry shortcake was lovely, but didn't hold a candle to the split. Our server, Jenna, was lovely and took great care of us. Music was kinda loud that it was kinda hard to converse with friends. Bartenders we're nice, although it took awhile for our orders to be served. Quesadilla and garlic fries we're not bad choices. I Just can't say the same to the chicken tenders. Parking is residential so a little walk shouldn't be a problem. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to visit this bar again.

Pros: free parking in the back, bartender is friendly, food is offered, space is large. Cons: food and drinks were bad, games were minimal, damaged, with pieces everywhere, staff was off putting Examples: - my friend ordered a hot chocolate and said it was the worst she's ever had. The water to powder ratio made it more like tea. She asked for more powder. They brought out a Swiss Miss packet, and made passive aggressive comments about how they were going above and beyond for her and they should charge her double (she's not a picky person so for her to complain you know it's bad) - we only found three games in the place but they were small plastic things like flick the ball into the hoop with all pieces out of the boxes and laying randomly under a tv tray behind a bar table - the food wasn't very good - the waiter didn't remember he needed my payment for the two hours I was there - the menu was basically non existent because their fryer was down and so they couldn't offer most items - it was dark and hard to see anything - the owner and her relative took over our hangout for around 30-40 min, asking us to bring in our "actor friends" and help them get more business.

Located inside Hotel Amarano (also a hidden gem), FYC (For Your Consideration) emits a classy ambience and a cozy vibe. This is a place where celebrities will come to dine because their privacy is respected. It's intimate enough for date night but also a perfect spot to catch up with friends. Of course, Te-See & I are always dressed to the nines regardless of where we go, but this time our fashionable wardrobe was the perfect attire for this chic lounge. Libby (director of sales & marketing) even came over to tell us how fabulous we both looked. We had an enjoyable conversation with her, and she told us many wonderful things about Hotel Amarano. I'll definitely recommend it to visitors and may even book a staycation for myself. Norm the bartender was friendly and attentive - engaging us with lively banter. I had the Bouquet of Roses - a refreshing combination of Kettle One Peach & Orange Blossom vodka, Lillet Rosé, Rosé wine, & peach purée. It was perfect for the summer evening. Te-See had the Spicy Passionfruit Paloma - minus the spicy. It was also very tasty. Anton also had the Paloma but spicy. I compared the two and liked the spicy version better. I had to leave before food was ordered but my friends said that the Shrimp Cocktail and Parmesan fries were delicious and ample enough to share. I really liked the vibe of this place and look forward to coming back. *Valet for the hotel or street parking.
