They placed the water drainage hose in the wrong spot. All of the water from my washer drained into my wall and caused water damage in my house. Was late upon delivery and never came back to rectify the issue with the water damage. Look elsewhere. read more

We purchased a full size stackable washer and dryer set from Georgia Appliance. The customer service was good, he gave me some good advice concerning the electrical situation I was facing in my laundry space. We purchased cash, he didn't charge us for delivery. It was delivered the following Monday because we purchased on a Saturday. The deliver guys were great, they stayed on my path as to not dirty my carpet, they hooked the appliances up and made sure they were working properly. The washer and dryer work great! I called Georgia Appliance Repair because my LG washer was not spinning. I had called the company LG to get a reference for the repair of my washer. They gave me 3 names and the 1st name was Georgia Appliance Repair. I was very appreciative of the gentleman who answered the phone at Georgia Appliance because he was very knowledgeable and asked me the right questions to find out what was going on with my machine. All in all he gave me some tips and within, I want to say half an hour to 45 minutes my machine was working. Thank you very much Georgia Appliance for your help. You are a good neighbor. If I could, I would rate this place zero stars. Our washing machine was leaking and we googled appliance repair and this came up. He was asking me a bunch of questions and when I would answer them he would ask if I was sure. 1) I don't know anything about washing machines that's why I am calling 2) if you aren't going to believe my answers then don't ask. They gave us a 2 hour window of when they would come between 10-12p. When the technician came at almost 11:30a, he was literally in the house for 2 minutes and told us the washing machine would cost $700 to repair. My husband said no thank you but since we already paid the $70 to get him out to our house, my husband asked if he could help install our spare washing machine in the garage. The technician told him that it would be an additional $80 for him to wait for my husband to move the washing machine from the garage to our laundry area and another $80 for him to hook it up. That would be a total of $230. Seriously?!? We waited for you to come out and now you wanted to charge $80 to wait maybe 15 min for my husband to move the washing machine from the garage to the laundry area and you weren't even lifting a finger? Awful customer service and major rip off! LOOK ELSEWHERE for your appliance repair needs- YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET GOING WITH THIS COMPANY! read more

Horrible service. Their mechanic threatened me. Said homophobic slurs. I have never been treated this badly by a mechanic who said he knew where I lived and would do stuff to my home. They hire shady people that they say are contractors but do nothing at all. Do not trust this company. I'm glad I have cameras and a security system on my house. I highly recommend Georgia Appliance. My refrigerator went out and was old enough that parts are not available. I called several repairmen and had difficulty getting an appointment within a week! Most just said they are too busy now. I went into Georgia Appliance and Tom showed me a used fridge for way less than a new one and since I'll be moving soon I didn't want to spend a lot. The fridge looks great, has an ice maker and I'm very happy. Oh yes, it was delivered the next day. We had originally purchased a washer from Airport Appliance in Concord but after they screwed up our delivery date twice (I even took a day off and they didn't show up), I cancelled the order and that's when I came across Georgia Appliances. This is not a professionally run business. They will Try to get you to order a used appliance rather then repair the single part. They do not have proper paperwork to give you a written estimate and then raise the price of the part. You have to insist on a warranty paperwork it is not given. We just recently moved into a new place and the dryer was broken when we moved in. So we called a repair person from here to come take a look at it. They were very prompt and professional. He took his time and even took the entire dryer apart, cleaned the inside where there was some lint and then replaced one of the parts that were broken. There was a slight language barrier since he mostly spoke Spanish but he really took his time to try to explain things as well as he could. We haven't had any problems with our dryer since. I couldn't have asked for better service! read more

I was at my wits' end with a silent/dark refrigerator two days before leaving for Oregon. Luckily, I contacted Georgia Appliance and a wonderful gentleman came quite quickly and was able to finally diagnose the problem: rodents had chewed through the power cord. He fixed the cord and thank goodness I'm back in business and ready for my road trip. This place is wonderful. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about--we bought a washer dryer combo here for under $500 total, WITH a warranty, and they delivered less than two hours later and installed it. When the washer's transmission slowed down a month later, we called them and they came out within two days and REPLACED it with a different one, NO CHARGE. Always polite, helpful, and mindful of a budget-friendly family. I would highly recommend and use them again. FYI, they sometimes are like 20-45 minutes late for an appointment window, but if you just call the shop they get right on it and send someone out right away. Great experience all around! read more

It is so refreshing to find not only honesty but true stand by your work customer service in a business where it would be easy to be dishonest. Georgia appliance save the day a few months ago when my dryer went out as I was doing laundry in preparation for a vacation. When they could not get the part for a day or two they offered to replace my dryer with one they had refurbished. A few months later the thermostat went out (I do lots of laundry) they came as soon as I called to repair it. Just yesterday the dryer went out again (maybe I need to do smaller loads) and with a call they came and replaced that dryer with another. These guys are great!!! read more

If you are replacing it with a used appliance, you want to know it has been serviced correctly. I have absolute faith in Georgia Appliance, their workmanship and their warranties. The first used dryer I purchased was wonderful. It lasted over 10 yrs. Two days ago we purchased a similar dryer and have had nothing but problems. Every time we plugged it in, it tripped our breakers. He came out and repaired with a part from the old dryer. Secondly, dryer door won't stay closed. Currently using a chair to keep it shut. Third problem, dryer is very loud. Drum is hitting the right side because it's pushed in. We visually inspected the dryer before we purchased but didn't try it out. Beware. His inventory has went way down over the years. AVOID! read more

What a GREAT bargain this was. My refrig finally busted itself on Wednesday, 9/19/12. Went into Georgia Appliances shop found a perfect replacement, got a great deal for $300.00 and delivered to boot. They even picked up my disabled refrig. The owner, "Tom" Tsitsonis was pleasant, easy to work with. He even gave me a 3 month guarantee. Whatta deal! Disappointed. Unprofessional. I called Georgia Appliance about my sidebyside Frigidaire refrigerator and the problem with the freezer section. I was hoping to get an appointment to have a service repairman come to my home and assess the problem with the freezer section. Instead. I spoke with someone who was very argumentative and condescending as I was explaining the issue. And then I was told that someone would call me back to arrange date and time. Well, guess what? No call back. I will never call this place again. Also, I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

This is the WORST appliance company we have ever had to use. Our landlord used them for all of his properties, including ours. The unit that we rent had been vacant for a couple of months. When we first moved in our freezer was the first thing to go out on us. All of our food defrosted and went bad. We called immediately to have them come out to fix it. They said they would come out right away and never showed up. The next day, they spoke with my boyfriend and said they would come out at 4, when he was off of work. That day they called him at 10am asking him where he was. He rushed home from work to let them in and the guy demanding we remove everything from the freezer. They checked it, and 2 min later told us they would order a new one for us. A month went by, and we called every week. Finally, they came and installed it after we called and called. They never show up when they say they will. Often times, its several hours after they told us they would be there or a completely different day. Our dishwasher was broken for 2 months before being replaced and when it was finally replaced they did not screw it in properly. Everytime we run the dishwasher, we get a huge puddle of water in front of it. The guy that came to install it was 6 hours late, smelled of whiskey and took 2 hours to install it. Our washer and dryer has broken 3 times and each time they accuse us of putting too many clothes in it. We rarely wash a full load of clothes because the dryer is broken and takes 3 hours to dry anything. The last time they accused us of this, we had one pair of pants and two tshirts in the washer. They never connected the dryer to the vent so it was hanging out of the dryer, causing the room to become steamy and it began getting black mold. I would never reccommend this company to anyone. Since then, our landlord has switched companies. Be aware! read more

Yes! Tom was able to talk me through fixing my washer with a most common remedy. Uh, who knew not cleaning the front filter on a regular basis would cause the drum to not spin. He could have come out and charged me a fee to fix it as easily as I did. While I did not get to meet this kind man in person the interaction on the telephone was most professional. read more

We have had nothing but trouble with the used washer and dryer we bought from Georgia Appliances in March. Yes, they did include a 6 month warranty, which was good because they eneded up having to come out 3 times in the first month we owned our set. On initial delivery the end cap to our washing maching "fell off" on the freeway on the way over, so they had to bring a replacement out. Then the dryer stopped heating, so they sent someone out to fix that. Finally the dryer started making a horrible scraping noise if anything as light as an empty laundry basket was placed on top of it. Apparently the top was damaged before we purchased it and the dents were banged out so that the damage was not visible to us. Each time I called for repair it took at least 24-48 hours for service and when you have two kids, that's a long time to wait to do laundry. Now our washing machine is filling and filling and filling. Last weekend it flooded our garage and damaged things that were on the garage floor. I am done. I have only ever bought used washers and dryers in the past and I have never had this much trouble. I consider this the worst $500 I have ever spent. Way too much hassle for what we got. read more

Both are excellent, good as new, they were inexpensive as these things go, and they delivered them competently, when they said they would. And they took the old stove away.
