A group of us came in, you had fair warning that we were coming and yet there was only one bartender on duty, guy who was not bartending but bussing behind the bar, sometimes delivering food. There were times that it looked like the guy didn't know what he needed to do. Ordered food, food sat up in the window and got cold but I was too hungry to send back. I knew the food had sat up in the window for along time because my table had direct view of the kitchen window. No apology for the food being late. I still paid my bill in full and tipped because the food wasn't horrible and I ate it but it was cold. read more

Another review mentioned this food being like middle school cafeteria food & I'd argue that cafeteria food is better. I've ordered takeout here like 3 times and I'm not doing it again, no matter how tempting the "cheap" delivery promotions are. Eggs benedict - 2.5/5 stars - Edible but nothing particularly good or bad. Hollandaise sauce was hella thick and seemed almost like it came from a can. I've ordered this 3 different times and the hollandaise was gelatinous and slightly "off" every time. The ham on the Benedict is sickeningly sweet honey ham lunch meat. "Country potatoes" - 0/5 stars - When I think of "country potatoes" I imagine cubed potatoes with bits of onion and peppers. The version of this dish here is literally cubed potatoes dropped in a deep fryer. Very likely frozen. Didn't even have salt on them. Oily and gross. Carne asada taco - .05/5 stars - The meat had no flavor. Not enough onion or cilantro. Literally tasted like absolutely nothing. Salsa was gross too. Pork belly taco - 0/5 stars - I've never met a piece of pork belly that I didn't like, until today. Absolutely disgusting chunks of undercooked fat & again FLAVORLESS. Topped with wet soggy cabbage that also tasted like absolutely nothing. Al pastor taco - 1/5 stars - the pork had some seasoning. Not enough onion or cilantro. Still pretty terrible. I recently joined a group for brunch. I ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet, but it lacked the "meat" as it was mainly potatoes with tiny bits of ham, bacon, and like little crumbles of sausage. In fact, I couldn't even taste the meat due to its size and lack of quantity. As for the service, it was a large group, so we were each given a number. But, when the drinks and food came out, those numbers weren't used and so they had to ask everyone who's item it was. That is challenging when people are talking and not listening to the order especially since we all thought a number would have been used. Now, when it came time to pay, I do not believe anyone's bill was correct as all this order numbers weren't correlated to the correct seat and or order. We have the space plenty of notice as to the group size, but they seemed to be short-staffed anyway. Perhaps they are struggling to get and keep staff or perhaps it was a mismanagement of resources. Hard to say anymore. I am open to returning, but not sure about wanting to purchase food as everyone in the group said the same thing ... it was food, but nothing to write home about. read more

We wound up here randomly on a Friday night and I was so pleasantly surprised! I'm shocked to see how many negative reviews they have. We sat at the bar and our bartender was the sweetest man. He was friendly, welcoming and gave great suggestions. I got the wet burrito with chicken tinga and that thing is MASSIVE and so bomb! My partner and I split it and still had leftovers. For four beers and that giant burrito my bill was still under $50. They have a dance floor and were bumping great Latin music. Yes- it's loud- but just being ear plugs if you're worried! We had a great time at Georgie's Garage and Grill on a Thursday June 13th after work at around 5pm....First it was really awesome to listen to a live band Stormdog they were ROCKING IT!!! A large group of friends gathered on a work day and were still able to enjoy live music and get home at a decent hour. Julio the bartender/server was absolutely the BEST! Usually restaurants might have one or two good items on their menu. Here at Georgie's, I am happy to say there are so many amazing items that they offer. In fact one time I mentioned to my wife, "Georgie's is dangerous, because the food is too good here, we are not going to be able to stop eating here". Nachos fantastic! Breakfast fresh! What? Prices are insane! On a Friday we Found the place driving by. Seems like a cool atmosphere but it has cray awkward bar seating. Waiter device station breaks up where you'd want to sit and other junk stacked up on bar. So uninviting. We did sit at the bar had a beer looked at the menu and laughed at the crazy prices. Really cool vibe and historical property that is being wonderfully restored by the new owners. There wasn't a soul in the bar when I got my food at 6:30, which is just sad. But it was ready, prices are good. Feel like the quality has definitely gone down, particularly with the fish and chips. We went to see a band there, ordered food, had a few drinks and halfway through the manager started delivering little paper receipts for the cover charge to everyone in the bar. No where on the posting or advertisement did it say there was a coverage charge. No one at the door telling you this as you walked through the door and no announcements were made about this cover charge or not even the option to decide whether or not you cared to see the band. The manager you could tell was upset when people didn't like the way this all played out. He basically said pay up or get out, then told us we were cheap and dicks! We spent at least $104.00 for 2 people and we would have paid even more if we would have stayed and we would have had no problem paying the cover if this manager would have handled the situation better. When I asked him why it wasnt posted, he lied and said someone tore it down. When paying our bill a patron at the bar said he witnessed this manager looking down one of the servers shirt while instructing her and he was appalled by his behavior. I felt really bad for the band because almost everyone in the bar left. We watched him threaten other tables and call them names until almost everyone was gone.
