    Chicken Kabab Bowl
    Laarni L.

5 stars for our new favorite Mediterranean spot :) Clean restaurant. Casual dining. Customer service was nice, appropriate. Had a small appetite today, I opted for the chicken kebab bowl, hubby ordered the beef shawarma wrap. The chicken kebab was yummy, juicy , the rice had great flavor, slightly fluffier than rice pilaf texture which I enjoyed very much. It came with a side of garlic sauce, garlicky and perfect! Hubby loved his wrap, landed on his top shawarma list. We voiced our compliments to the chef. Next time we return, I'm ordering the plate!

Absolutely phenomenal food. Falafel wrap was light and flavorful, fantastic texture on the falafel and crunch on the veg. Was checking out the plaza and noticed they were about to close, so I was just leaving when Karim beckoned me to come in. He informed me that he was closing shop for the day, but was enthusiastic for me to try his food if I was interested. His enthusiasm really struck a chord in me and I had to say yes. Needless to say Karim went back into the kitchen and cooked the heck out of my wrap. Can not praise his service enough, thanks Karim!!

Came here with boyfriend's family on a Friday night and food here was so delicious. The rice was so good and so was the baba ganouj. The manager here is very kind. Seems like they do a lot of take-out and deliveries. I will be coming back! Parking is plentiful in the large plaza lot.

This place is pretty yummy! I got the chicken kabob plate with two sides of regular hummus. The person who helped me was super friendly and inviting! I wish i got his name. One of my pieces of chicken had the skewer inside the chicken lol. I don't really mind but just a heads up because i don't know if that's normal or not. usually i can see the stick pointing out but since these were cut already i didn't see it until i cut open a piece of the chicken ! The food was delicious i just wish there was more chicken!!!! I would come back forsure.

Our go to spot for take out Mediterranean food. The grape leaves are freshly made, the hummus is homemade and the pita is warm and fluffy. What gets me every time is the rice. It's addicting. Had noodles and is fluffy and seasoned perfectly. Chicken or beef kebab is our go to. But they have vegetarian falafel too. Bowls are smaller and maybe better for lunch but we like leftovers. The plates are fab and enough for another meal. Staff is the kindest. If you dine in or come by they have desserts too and sit down tables and chairs to eat in.

This is SUPPOSED to be Chicken Shawarma.

Don't waste your money. This is supposed to be Chicken Shawarma, Worst Mediterranean food we've ever had. The discription states the chicken is shaved, which is what shawarma should be...shaved from the roasting spit. This was like ground boiled chicken with some seasoning thrown on. Abosolutly unedible. Pita bread was cold and beef was suppposed to be filet, it was tough. This was the Westminster location...

    Kefta plate

I ordered 2 plates of Kefta with vermicelli rice, Mediterranean salad, and Baba ganoush. As an avid Middle Eastern cuisine eater, I have to say I was disappointed. There's nothing special about this plate and I was surprised that it lacked traditional flavors. The rice was a bit mushy so they must have used too much water when cooking it. The salad dressing was very light, but the ingredients themselves were fresh and crispy. The babacanoush was okay and lastly the kefta appears to be a good quality meat, but it was bland. For the price, I wouldn't try this place again.

1/3 size of usual order of fries. Never again.

Used to love Georgie's. NOT ANYMORE AND NEVER AGAIN. The bowls are considerably smaller all of a sudden. It shocked me when I opened up my bag back at home. And my side order of fries I usually get for 3.99....well...it now fills 1/3 of the container for the same price. Since it was a To-Go order placed over phone, maybe the staff was bored and started snacking on my food while I was driving over to pick it up. Hope you go out of business reeeal soon.

Kefta was amazing! One plate enough for two meals, comes with 2 pitas. Doordash ready on time. Perfect lunch for eat-in too at the shopping center.

Not nearly as good as it was months ago. Ingredients have changed entirely. Different rice and different seasons on the chicken. Was it edible? Yes. Was it worth going back? No.

    $14.50 kebab bowl?!

I will preface this by saying we have eaten at Georgie's probably a dozen times and have wholeheartedly recommended them to others. Not sure if the upcoming name change means that ownership has changed already, but today's experience was extremely disappointing. 1) My text said order would be ready between 2:20-2:25. I received a text at 2:28 (while parking) that my order was ready. We walked in and a man from the kitchen just said "I'm not late, YOU are late." I thought they were joking so I laughed, but he just repeated that he made the food on time and repeated that I was late. Alright. He then told me to confirm the order. I asked if he meant the contents so I started repeating my order, to which he just said "please confirm when you're at your car." Thoroughly confused, I grabbed the bag and left. I'm assuming he thought I was a DoorDash person, but it was a very odd exchange. 2) One of the wraps ordered was a chicken tarna wrap, but what we received was a chicken kebab wrap. No worries on this mix up, it still tasted good. The falafel in the other wraps was fine, not as great as it's previously been but not our main concern. 3) Main complaint: my husband always orders the same thing - beef kebab bowl with fries and garlic sauce. I'm posting a picture of what we received because this was unbelievable and what can only be described as a kid's meal. This was $14.50?! A handful of fries, dry and overcooked kebab, and no garlic sauce. The portion size is a quarter of what it used to be and the quality is subpar. It honestly does pain me to say that this was probably our last visit to what was once a place we raved about.

I was excited to try the chicken kebab plate from here. I got take out so not much to say about service. When I came in, the restaurant was not busy but there appeared to be a lot of take out orders :) The chicken kebab plate comes with 2 sides (and we got it with rice). For sides, I got the spicy hummus and Mediterranean salad. My husband got the same plate but with baba ghanoush and red cabbage. Unfortunately, every thing was so salty! (Except for the rice, pita, and baba ghanoush) I'm not sure if it could've been an accident like they forgot they already added salt and then added salt again?? I'm not sure but our chicken was salty, Mediterranean salad, red cabbage, and hummus (which was suppose to be spicy hummus but they gave me regular hummus) was also salty! :( I could imagine the food being great here But not today.. it was too salty where we can taste the salt :(

Amazing food, I really like the chicken wrap. Karim the owner is very welcoming and nice as well, just moved here so support local businesses!

Does the hummus contain garlic? Most store-bought hummus has garlic, but some Middle Eastern restaurants, such as Al Tannour in Anaheim, make their hummus without garlic, which is the way I prefer.

We do our creamy delicious hummus without garlic, and it's always fresh.

It's only about 7 minutes from the parks, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're craving something flavorful that won't leave you feeling heavy. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spinach pastry was hands down my favorite, perfectly flaky with a delicious savory filling. The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. It had a perfectly seasoned, crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful center. Dipping it into the baba ganoush, hummus, and tahini made every bite even better. One of my favorite things was that the meal was incredibly satisfying without feeling greasy or overly heavy. It was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, but I still felt great afterward. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. They also have a great selection of Mediterranean spices if you want to bring some of those incredible flavors home. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team. Between the fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, Zait Zataar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants. I'll absolutely be coming back!

I placed an online order for the baked fish plate around 12:45 PM and expected a bit of a wait since it was fish. After waiting about 25 minutes, I called and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was busy, so I understood. However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.
