My wife and I went here for breakfast because it was in the hotel we are staying at. The place is beautiful. The food was amazing and the service is great. The staff is very nice.

Comedor has delicious food and great service! The interior is great for photos too, lots of art deco vibes. All of the food we had was delicious. I think the star of the show was the chicken mac n cheese. All of the cocktails are good too, I'd go for more of the fruity ones. The service was very accommodating! A few dishes came out cold (likely because we had a group of ten and the foods were done cooking at different times) and they were happy to help and reheat it. I'd definitely come back next time I'm visiting Puerto Rico!

This restaurant is located inside the hotel. We arrived at the hotel close to 7 PM, and since I wasn't feeling well, we decided to grab dinner from the hotel. We seated ourselves. The wait staff came by to take our drink orders. Water is not free. You can purchase a bottle for like $6. We opted not to purchase the water because we had about $15 in credit from the hotel. We asked if it was okay to get the drinks from the hotel credit and bring them inside, we were told that we could. My husband stepped outside and brought back Gatorade and water as we both needed to hydrate. The lights are very dim lit. The food was good. The carrot cake was good. It wasn't overly sweet. It could have been a bit more moist, but the sweetness level was just right.

5/5 - Solid food, great presentation, and enjoyable atmosphere Visited Comedor PR and had a really good overall experience. We ordered a few dishes to share, including the fried calamari, chicken quesadilla, and chicken mac & cheese. Everything came out well-presented and flavorful. The calamari was crispy and nicely balanced with the sauces, and the quesadilla was cooked perfectly with a good filling-to-tortilla ratio. The mac & cheese was rich and comforting without being too heavy. Drinks were also well done -- refreshing and thoughtfully garnished, which added to the experience. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and portions. Overall, a great spot for a casual but elevated meal. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others

Upon entering we were greeted by friendly female staff asking if we had reservations. She kindly sat us outside but gave us the inside as an option if we'd like. The ambience is amazing dinner setting with dim lighting, great for a dinner date or late night cocktail! Our server we forgot her name was very informative on menu items, drinks & deserts suggestions. The food was priced reasonably and beyond exceeded our taste buds expectations. So many items to choose from that all sounded so amazing it was in fact hard to choose but we are excited to come back and try more items on the menu from appetizers to desserts!

I stayed at the Courtyard during a work trip to Puerto Rico, and this restaurant was conveniently located in the hotel. I visited a few times for breakfast and dinner, and I am a fan. The restaurant feels calm and peaceful, and the food is pretty good. I would rate it a 5, but during one of my visits, I had a very unattentive waiter, and I had about 20 or so minutes waiting to request dessert and then again for my bill. However, that didn't seem to be a constant issue. If you're around, I will certainly recommend it.

If you are staying close by or in the hotel this is a great breakfast spot. The portions are generous and are enough to share. The staff is accommodating to lagroups or small.

This Puerto Rico Asian fusion spot was recommended by my travel agent. The tacos and tostones were our favorite. Had really hoped for a piña colada but they had no blended drinks available.

Do not be misled, Comedor is NOT a hotel lobby restaurant! It's a dynamite little gem in Miramar neighborhood of San Juan. If staying in Condado, it's worth the 5 minute drive over! Appetizers to start: beef dumplings, mahi bites & the fried calamari is unique! Many great options for dinner: the vegetable noodle bowl, fried eggplant w/ mushroom ravioli, truffle chicken Mac & Cheese or any of the steaks! Save some room for the Goat (greatest of all time) milk cheesecake for dessert! Carlos is a great server but everyone was extremely welcoming! The place nicely designed, most business casual for dinner but not required.

Come for Sunday Brunch. For a hotel restaurant this place is a gem.

Even though this restaurant is in a hotel, the brunch was awesome! What we had noticed was that most restaurants in PR require reservations. Since we did not have one we sat at the bar. We ordered brunch. Hubby and I ordered the croque madame and it was delicious. Two pieces of brioche bread, a lot of ham and an egg topped with mornay sauce. The service was superior. Friendly, timely and professional. I would go back and try their smoked salmon Benedict.

Unexpected fine dining next to a delightful pool. The ambiance was top notch with some romantic candle lit dining. The food was also superb. We shared the burger with pork belly and salmon over risotto. The salmon was cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend!

This was a neat little spot in San Juan (Mirimar) P.R. I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is located at inside the Courtyard Marriott, where I was staying. I noticed both hotel guests and locals coming to eat there, which was nice to have local validation. My food was tasty and my server/bartender was cute, friendly and nice. She was kind enough to recommend a few activities to do while in town. I hope to come back to this restaurant when I come back to San Juan. Oh yeah, I had the Comedor burger which was pretty good. Different taste but good. I had the coffee with a kick and the Caribbean old fashioned. All were great selections.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end, from the hostess to the servers and bussers. Our server, Jeffery, was amazing! He was energetic, professional, attentive, and you can genuinely tell he takes his position seriously. I loved that! We were greeted with complimentary sopa de plátano and bacalaítos, and I was NOT expecting to love them as much as I did. This was by far the best sopa de plátano I've ever had. I never thought I could fall in love with a soup, but here we are! (I ordered a whole extra regular size bowl )The bacalaítos were another surprise because they're normally not something I order or even particularly like--and I've tried quite a few in my life--but these were absolutely delicious. My S/O and I shared the churrasco with arroz mamposteao, along with a side of avocado salad and majado de viandas. Everything was a straight 10/10. Not one disappointment on the table. They also make an amazing Rojo Pico, which was the perfect addition to the experience. 100% recommend Casita Miramar. Don't overthink JUST GO! The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was flavorful, comforting, and clearly prepared with care. My mother even commented that the arroz y habichuelas reminded her of her grandmother's cooking, which is probably one of the highest compliments a Puerto Rican restaurant can receive. The meal felt authentic, homemade, and deeply satisfying. I ordered the stuffed avocado, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of the standout dishes of our entire trip. The staff was attentive and worked hard to keep things moving despite how busy the restaurant was. You can immediately tell that this place serves a very high volume of customers, and for good reason. The only thing that may confuse first-time visitors is the seating process. People generally line up in the hallway adjacent to the dining room and wait to be seated. At first, it can feel like organized chaos, but the staff clearly knows how to manage the crowd. Given the popularity of the restaurant and the amount of people coming through the doors, the system works. The quality of the food for the price is outstanding. This is the kind of place you visit when you want authentic Puerto Rican food that tastes like it came straight from someone's family kitchen. If you're visiting San Juan, you owe it to yourself to eat here at least once. Our family loved it, and we would absolutely return on a future trip.
