Still a solid choice in Marlborough for good dinner specials. The service staff were very attentive. The ambiance is very laid back feel with friendly people. Limited bar options but they can make most cocktails. I enjoyed the grilled salmon special on this visit. Salmon was very good but the sauce was a little oily for me. Overall, very good. Come with an appetite because portions are amazing. The restaurant is tucked away behind a bank so look carefully.

Really only come here because it's convenient and one of my dads favorite restaurants. It's pretty good. Standard pizza place. Decent prices, big servings. They're not my favorite for pizza, but it's decent. This last time I went I ordered a salad and it was delicious. HUGE chunks of Gorgonzola and a generous helping of chicken. I have been trying to find a good place for a Waldorf salad and this is it! The one I ordered was only a small - I can only imagine how big the large is. One of my friends ordered the fried shrimp and they were HUGE. She had no complaints. My other friend ordered the pizza (only cause they were out of grinder rolls - weird for a pizza place that is located across the street from a grocery store but oh well) and it was tasty. The only complaint I have is the service. This last time I went, I walked in and two waitresses were having a conversation. Both of them looked over at me and went back to what they were doing. Some man, the owner maybe? Had to come over and ask her to greet me. Totally understandable if it's a rush and they're busy, but I was blatantly ignored. The same waitress was very nice while we were dining, but didn't check on us as often as we had hoped. However, she was very accommodating with suggestions, extra dressing, etc. Will be back since it's pretty close by, also they offer $3 off a $35 purchase I believe, on the back of the Big Y receipt.

    Chicken and asparagus

Walked in at 6:30 on a Tuesday night and they were not busy. Waited 15 minutes after being seated for the waitress to come over. No drink menu was provided so she left us to get it. White wine was warm, not chilled but actually warm. She never checked back so we couldn't fix that issue. The manager checked on us after we waited another 30 minutes with no food and she came right out with it. We asked for two customizations on our meals and neither was provided. When brought up to the server she shrugged and said sorry. One entree came with soup or salad and neither was provided. Didn't take the leftovers cause the chicken and asparagus was so bland but it's not like the server even asked if we wanted a box. Had to flag down the server for our check. Had high hopes for this place. Won't be returning.

My husband and I go here a lot. Sometimes for dinner but mostly for their delicious breakfast. I've had it all from the traditional eggs bacon homefries and toast, to Benedict's, sausage and gravy biscuits, homemade hash. Everything is great and my fave is their thick French toast. I absolutely love this place and I'm so glad it's close to our home!

    Parmesan crusted chicken! Delicious.

I noticed there was a food truck, that made wood fired pizza, while you sip your beer (or wine). This is a woman owned pizza business, her name is Janet, she left the corporate world to make real wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients from the hearth and soul! We were a party of three hungry people. We ordered two pizzas. They only offer one size, it's about the size of an average personal pizza, 12 inches across. We got the veggie and the pepperoni. There might have been one more option. This was a nice sunny afternoon, with a good amount of guests enjoying quality time outside. We waited about a half hour and our pizzas were ready. Yum! My veggie pizza looked delicious! It had all the best things on it! It was filled with spinach, sun dried tomatoes, plenty of fresh mozzarella and mushrooms. This is pretty thin pizza, but nice, crispy and perfectly charred on the edges. Yum! I'm so glad I randomly came across this woman owned gem! As far as the pepperoni, this isn't my first pick, but a very solid choice, no question. There's plenty of fresh mozzarella and plenty of pepperoni slices for those who love this classic. Each pizza was $19, a little on the high side, but it is excellent pizza with ingredients to be appreciated. I'm not sure how often Hearth and Soul changes it's locations, if you see them I'd for sure give them a try. I really loved their veggie pizza, they don't skimp on the toppings. Also for an additional $2.00 they can make the pizza with gluten free dough. Now everyone can be happy!

There were only about 3 booths plus some half-booth/chair seating for maybe 20 people total. The decor was really pretty too, hanging flowers everywhere which made it feel cozy and aesthetic. Service was amazing. There was one bartender and one waiter and both were super attentive, fast, and friendly the whole time. We specifically went for the $20 girl dinner special which comes as a tower with martinis filled with Caesar salad, garlic knots, penne alla vodka, and french fries. The french fries were PHENOMENAL and the penne alla vodka was honestly sensational. My only wish is that the meal included some kind of protein like chicken because it would've made it feel a little more complete. Their drink menu is huge and really creative they had things like a cannoli martini and pistachio martini which were both delicious. I originally wanted a whiskey martini, so the bartender suggested a sidecar martini. It was good, just not really the vibe for a 5 PM dinner with my girlfriends lol definitely more of a late-night cocktail. I ended up switching to "That's Your Old Fashioned" made with birthday cake whiskey and liked that much better. Overall, I'd definitely go back for drinks and to try more food. I probably wouldn't order the girl dinner again personally, but it's still a really good deal and such a fun concept. Loved the atmosphere and service

The restaurant is in a sleepy little corner of Glastonbury in a tiny strip mall. The inside is decorated well and it's a very pretty space. The single waitress was handling the entire place herself. She got me seated after a short wait. She was very polite and helpful, offered recommendations and was always available but was very busy. Opted for linguini in vodka sauce with meatballs, and the crème brûlée. Food came out after a short wait. Took pics and dug in The pasta was not boiled in salty water. Pasta consistency was slick and firm but not crunchy. Either overworked fresh pasta or dried, I'm not sure which. The vodka sauce was one note, lacking any depth. It was a creamy tomato sauce and really needed seasoning to punch up the flavors. The meatball was dense, lacked any seasoning or flavor. They were cooked and warm, just not much going on beyond ground beef. The Marinara was actually really good. Balanced, sweet but not overly acidic. The quality showed in that sauce. The crème brûlée was very good. Little bit boozy due the gran mariner on top with the caramelized sugar. Creamy and light on the vanilla but the perfect consistency. The best bite of the bites. The garlic knots and cappuccino were okay. Nothing fancy there, but functional and good enough. The server showed concern when I didn't eat much of my entree. She offered replacements, which I declined. The hospitality was great even with her being as busy as she was. Price was high, coming out to around 45 bucks for the pasta and meatballs, cappuccino, and dessert. It was a lunch on a Monday, so not expecting the best. But the price was a bit much for the quality provided. I can see glimmers of greatness here. The server and the dessert were great, but their entrees leave a bit to be desired. As an Italian restaurant, it has the perfect ambiance and service expected for an elevated experience in that area. The foods a bit lacking, but if you go for the location and the service then you'll do just fine.
