Better than what the reviews lead me to believe! Probably depends on the menu item you get, but the beef kabobs were fantastic. I asked for medium rare and got more medium, but they were juicy and tender and the flavor was great! The real standout is the flippin' cheese risotto, tho... You can order a side of it all on its own and boy howdy do I recommend doing so if your dish doesn't already come with a side! SO good. I'd come back just for that, it was so good. The brussel sprouts were also delicious. Well cooked and flavor with lemon that was not at all overwhelming. Pickled onions on top. Would order these again too! We also got the flatbread which has a nice garlic flavor. My dining companions liked the flavor of the dough. It made us want to try their pizzas next!

We were fairly happy with our visit to this establishment. The location on Monroe St. in the Promenade Shops is quite convenient. The storefront is easy to spot at the elbow of the plaza. The facility features a bar in one half and a dining room in the other. We sat on the dining room side. Our server Lexi attended to us right away and did a great job during our entire visit. The menu featured a lot of familiar choices, including salads, sandwiches and entrees. I chose the Pastrami Cristo sandwich. The pastrami was terrific and the broccoli side was very nicely done. My wife had the chicken tenders and fries to share with our grandson. She was also quite happy with her choice. We had club soda to drink, for which they did not charge. With food, tax and a tip, our bill was $31. At $15.50 per person as well as feeding a 20-month old, I cannot complain about the value. We will definitely look forward to our next visit.

Wow, loved this place! It was worth driving 35 minutes off 80/90 for. John had the home made dough, hand tossed, wood fired 14" pizza with pepperoni, sausage & mushrooms. We lucked out to stop on $10.00 pizza night & extra toppings were $1 each. I loved my beef tenderloin kabobs accompanied with home made tzatziki sauce, pita, & a yummy side of broccoli that was grilled with butter & olive oil! I never had broccoli like that before. Really really good. Could have eaten another order of it if I wasn't so full. LOL! Too bad I didn't have room for the home made rice pudding or homemade chocolate chip cookie topped with gelato! Maybe next time!

Gigli pasta (pesto sauce) - it was very good!

Very mediocre food and the lemon martini was the worst I've ever had. The service, however, was very good.

The pita bread was freshly made and we could see it come out from the wood fired oven to our table. They were a warm cloud of deliciousness. The chicken tips were served on a bed of in house hummus. The chicken was extremely well seasoned and juicy. The Labenee was rich and refreshing with a slight tart. The pizza was cheesy and played well with the sausage and peppers. The basil was a nice touch to elevated the pizza flavor overall Our full meal and drinks including tip for two people was $50 which we thought was a very affordable price for date night in an elevated sit in restaurant. We will definitely be back

I visited the location on Central for a Galentines outing and it was perfect. I've already been back since that day. As a big fan of Mediterranean food Poco has some of the best hummus I've tried thus far. There's also many variations of grape leaves (in general) and I'm not a fan of all of them but I did enjoy their meat grape leaves. They make them with lamb and ground beef, rice, Syrian spice, and cook them with lemon and mint. All combined the grape leaves have a savory taste with a hint of sweetness for its flavor. I've never been disappointed with their Cried Calamari Za'atar. It's typically fried hard to give a nice crispy crunch. My favorite dinner on the menu as of this moment are the Grilled Baby Lamb Chops. I ordered medium rare chops since they advertise having them cooked this way is their specialty. I gladly agree with them. Yes it might be pink on the inside but the flavor is everything. You can order a small (4) or large (6) plate of the chops. The large plate comes with a bed of rice. Overall, I would say that their prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food you receive. This location is somewhat small but still spacious enough to enjoy yourself and have private conversations. I would say that it's appropriate for any type of small gathering to take place at this location. The service is always stellar and it's pretty cool that you can view the action in the kitchen as you're dining. Alcohol is served as they also have a small bar area. Wine fills their menu but they do offer special cocktails as well. I've tried their cabernet, and peach sangria. Their classic sangria looks amazing though so I might order that next. Overall, Poco Piatti is a restaurant you should absolutely dine at sooner than later!

While I did not experience the ambiance at Grape Leaf Diner today, I can say from a past visit that the atmosphere is clean, bright with lots of windows, and with comfortable chairs and booths. The restaurant is located near or within a small strip mall at the Holland, OH location. (The Grape Leaf Express location in Toledo, OH located on Monroe St near Franklin Park Mall is also in a strip mall.) The food ordered today included chicken shawarma, yellow rice with vegetables (green beans, corn and peas), hummus, pita bread, and a Greek salad. There was also a dish of grilled vegetables that included squash and zucchini. While I didn't want to be rude and photograph food in the middle of the party, I took some screenshots posted by the restaurant to give you an idea of the food presentation. The salad ingredients were very fresh and delicious. Hummus was perfectly flavored. I always wish that Mediterranean rice had more vegetables, though it was delicious. I found the chicken shawarma a bit salty, but I'm salt-sensitive, so most people probably would love it; the meat was lean. As for the zucchini and squash vegetables, they looked delicious but we didn't have plastic knives, and I couldn't manage to cut them or eat them with the plastic forks. It was a beautiful presentation and I recommend that you give this restaurant a try! A tip for summer weather: the A/C was cranked up high when I was last there... maybe bring a jacket or sweater if you tend to run cold.

Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. They remember us even tho we are only here twice a year, and I find that very sweet. We have had their bowls as well, all of which were good quality. There are lots of protein, topping, and sauce choices. They have grab n go desserts and some side dish items in the cooler with the sodas (they have Coke *and* Pepsi products). This location is clean, bright and warm with a clean restroom (for customers only) and some outdoor tables to enjoy in the warmer months. We have been and will be back many many more times to come!

I proceeded to take pictures for my yelp review and a waitress came running to ask what I was doing and if I had permission to take pictures. She was a bit aggressive and asked me a lot of questions to why I was writing reviews and if I wrote bad ones and I was a bit confused. Am I not allowed to take pictures? She became much nicer after I explained to her the whole Yelp review thing. She said she heard of Yelp and even said she wanted to write reviews. Our wait was over 20 minutes. Around 8:30 pm, a mother and son came in and they declined their to go order. The sign says close at 9 pm so I felt bad for them. Our gyros were not good. The meat was burned and unflavorful. The pita was very thin like a tortilla but it was a pocket. It was dry and the sauce was also unflavorful. We all agreed that we will never go back. Our fries were also not good. They needed salt and were cold. I'm so sad because the last time I was here, 2 years ago, it was great! My mother in law told us that the restaurant was under new ownership. The food has not been good since. I wish I would have known. I think if they changed the time to 8:30 pm if they will turn people away before 9 pm. If they trained the wait staff customer service and not grill customers for writing reviews and seasoned their food, used good Tzatziki sauce and real pita bread; this place would back to awesome!
