Within the first year I had lost my wedding band in a freak rock throwing accident (rock went in the lake, so did my ring....) After 3-4 years when I finally called to get the replacement, the lady at Gerald's was very helpful and took seconds not minutes to pull up all my information and get the replacement on the way. The tone was dismissive and it was clear that she had seen "better" rings. I was offended and have not returned. A friend ordered a gift for her husband. My watch band pin fell out at SEATAC right after I arrived on business. I arrived at Oak Harbor and Googled jewelers. Gerald's popped up with 4 good reviews so I went there. 5 minutes after I walked in the door the watch was repaired with a new pin for no charge. I insisted that I pay, the jeweler came out from the back room and said forget it, it was a little thing. He asked that I come back for the big things. I pointed out that I am visiting on business, and don't live here. I again offered to pay for the repair and parts. They refused and sent me on my way. I have bought a dimond ring and a few other things there was treated good but lately I don't know what has happened there, my better half took in a watch and wanted the back removed and they would not do it.
