He got a polish dog with special sauce, sauerkraut, and a pickle, and was impressed! Solid 8.5/10; he said it's not as good as Portillo's (the gold standard for Chicago dogs) but still liked it. He said he doesn't usually like hot dogs, but could see himself craving it. I got a beef dog with special sauce, onions, and a sprinkle of celery salt, and it hit the spot for me (9/10)! I would've wanted the server to be a bit more heavy-handed with the special sauce, but there are free little to-go cups you can grab yourself, so I definitely added some to mine. I'm sure we'll be back. It's a little tucked away from City Creek and we didn't even realize it's been this close to where we live all this time, but now that we know, it'll be added to our rotation! Restaurant is clean and modern. Be sure to go straight and then right to order rather than directly right. We saw a lot of people make the wrong choice and have to turn around. A more obvious sign on the wall rather than hanging from the ceiling might be a good idea!

The sauce really is THAT good. I did not fabricate its goodness in my memory. Highly recommend to anyone needing a quick, delicious & inexpensive lunch. This location is big and clean. Service was quick!

Most were positive, but I did notice a few negative comments mixed in--and unfortunately, some of those ended up matching our experience. I wouldn't describe the service as particularly friendly. While ordering, I asked a few questions about menu items and was met with very short responses that didn't really answer what I was asking. We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger Combo, a Millie Burger Combo, a Corn Dog, and the Chicken Crunch. The restaurant was busy, with plenty of customers stopping in for lunch on a Saturday. The employee at the counter took our order quickly, and we were able to find a table right away. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My bacon cheeseburger lacked flavor, the patty was very thin, and the bacon was overcooked. My daughter started eating the Chicken Crunch but stopped after a few bites because she said it tasted funny. I tried it myself and noticed the chicken tenders tasted like corn dog, likely from being cooked in the same oil. The fries also tasted as though they had been cooked in old oil. None of us finished our meals, and we left feeling disappointed and dealing with stomach aches afterward. For the price, this isn't a place we'll be returning to. I will add that this was my husband's second visit. He mentioned that during his first experience, Millie was working the counter and he really enjoyed both the food and service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience today.

The hotdogs come very neatly wrapped, and the hotdog buns are separately heated with just the perfect amount of fluffiness and fresh taste. I'm guessing maybe they steam the hotdog buns because the taste and texture is so much better than the kind of hotdog buns you buy in plastic bags off supermarket shelves to use when you're grilling hotdogs at home. This particular Wienerschnitzel has the iconic building design I grew up with in California. Simply a classic, historical icon. After regrettably missing my big family cookout this year back on the 4th of July, I was super happy to see the iconic building while running a random errand, and I was glad for the chance to get a hotdog in summer before the end of August. There's the classic style drive-thru, but I prefer going in places. Inside the lobby area and behind the counter was immaculately clean. Even though I was extraordinarily pleased that this restaurant location has retained the iconic, exterior design, which truly hit the nostalgic spot, the interior is completely modern and really nice. Looking around, the parking lot and facility is incredibly well maintained. You can see that the owner has put a lot of effort into maintaining the place. I'm planning on swinging out here at least every couple of weeks now to grab a hotdog. Seriously, so good. How did I ever forget how much I like a good hotdog.

Would definitely return! Excellent burger. Got the firehouse burger, which consisted of 1/4 patty, onions, pickles, tomatoes, jalapeños, shredded lettuce and bacon. Ton of bacon and a ton of jalapeños in the burger. Was a nice potato bun that wasn't soggy. Shoestring fries were nice and crispy. The onion rings had a ton of flavor in it. Opted for the BBQ sauce over the fry sauce. Spot had a lot of history and nostalgia to it. I was there shortly after it opened so I got my food fairly quickly. One unique thing they had were different colored roses for people to take on the house if you're into that. Staff was very friendly as well. There's ton of parking too so that was nice to not have to drive around a neighborhood for parking.

My picky 12 year old was able to find multiple things he loved and the staff was friendly, patient, understanding, and helpful. We ordered cheese burgers with fries and a drink plus onion rings, a shake, and a hand scooped ice cream and it all cost us under $30! The burgers were juicy and delicious, the fries were perfectly done ( crispy but not hard or overdone with a delicious softer inside, not undercooked. Everything was served quickly, kindly, and deliciously. We didn't have a long wait at all! I loved the atmosphere as did my son! Their shakes are SO THICK you have to eat it with a spoon then try a straw later after it settles / melts a little and it was SO GOOD! Easily the best shake I've had in years! Lastly, their fry sauce. I've been to a lot of places that serve fry sauce all over the state and this was THE BEST fry sauce I've ever had! Not too tangy but not too light on flavor. I loved that they included it for free as well! 100/10 for food and experience! Would absolutely recommend!
