I think we caught them on an off night. We have been so excited to try this food truck, but the food was very bland. They also got our order wrong. I went back and they fixed it and were apologetic, but we were disappointed overall.

I had the truffle fries and Phoenix sandwich hoping the jalapeño cheddar sauce would do what my office's furnace couldn't do on this frigid spring day - what the crap Utah? The truffle fries are quite good and I think stood out with the chunky sea salt really bringing out the flavor of the potato skins. These come with fry sauce...but I was scratching my head as to why you'd cover up the flavor of white truffle fries & basil with fry sauce? Isn't that a bit like putting ketchup on a ribeye? The sandwich was good but for $10 you assume you're getting something bigger than a cat's paw, so you can't help but feel a little shortchanged in the value department. Flavor was good, but I felt the jalapeño cheddar sauce overwhelmed the flavor of the steak, peppers, onion, etc...maybe get the sauce on the side so you can apply it as needed?

***UPDATED REVIEW*** Just ordered the Beef on Weck, it was fantastic! The salty flavor, beef and sauce was a knockout. This sandwich pairs especially well with beer (when at Fisher Beer) because of its saltiness. Really, this sandwich should be their signature, haven't had anything like this since living back east. Well done and looking forward to my next. I'll be sure to try the fries next time, too. Thanks! Review is based only on the one thing I tried on the menu, so in all fairness I still need to try some of their other items. I ordered the Philly and gotta say that it was extremely underwhelming. The roll was very thick and dense, hard to eat. The meat was extremely chewy and had fat that really needed to be rendered down. Veggies were nicely done, but the sandwich ended up failing with whatever kind of thick white sauce they put on top. I think it was an Alfredo sauce in place of actual cheese. Now, maybe it's because I grew up in Philly and have eaten cheesesteaks for most of my life, but I wouldn't stamp a "Philly" label on this sandwich at all. Maybe "Steak Alfredo Sandwich" or something. Also, for $10 the sandwich was so tiAnyway, I will try some of their other items next time they are down at Fisher Brewing and won't rule them out just yet!

Fantastic fresh Veggies in a bun, with the most delicious sauce. It's a little messy to eat but worth it. Yummy.

They helped me more than anyone else. Gave me food and drinks. I wish I could help them in return. This place feels accepting and welcoming. It's just filled with warmth and love and kindness. Every staff here has a heart of gold in my eyes. And honestly, if I ever get back on my feet and get lots of money, then I would wanna help people like me. Homeless, orphans, and more. Everyone is amazing and perfect in their own way. I don't even know how to thank these people. But I do know that I will want to repay them when I can. Whenever I get back on my feet hopefully soon. I never met people so kind like the people working at this market in Salt Lake City Utah. I hope one day everyone can accept others for who they are. These people that work here gave me so much hope. I am holding back tears. I don't know what to say. They are amazing and I hope this market has a successful time! I can't thank them enough. I'm gonna miss these people. Currently having to go back to a homeless shelter in Vegas. I hope they take me back in and if not it's ok. Because I know that at least there are some good people in this world. When I walked in, there was a line of people all waiting for their delicious breakfast. Excellent sign! I placed my order and had to laugh with the worker because they were so many hilarious signs around the shop! Of course I had to try the brown butter sea salt cookie. Can you blame me? My sandwich was made fresh and devoured instantly. The focaccia had a slight char, the egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was super crunchy. I didn't love the American cheese, but that's just my personal preference. There's not a lot of seating options besides the one table in front. No biggie - pull up a curb or stand and eat. My sandwich was delicious and I'm excited to go back and try other variations!

Which was made up of perfectly fried pork topped with Dukes mayo (my fav), ranch-kraut (my new fav), and dill. You can really taste the ingredients which is such a plus for me as too many ingredients in a sandwhich can get muddy. - They had a special butternut squash soup with calabrian chili which was phenomenal. At only $3 it was a perfect side for winter. CONS: - Pricey. I think at this price point if it added a bag of chips or some time of fruit or a small little side or maybe a can of soda included it would be a perfect meal and a very reasonable price point. My only suggestion.

I…read morehad noticed Deadpan from some foodie articles and accounts - amazingly, they decided to keep their business going due to the massive support they received when they announced their closure a few months ago. The owner was kind and helped me pick between the two sandwiches I was being indecisive about - the Oh Schnitzel and the Hot Chopped Cheese. He asked if I could handle spicy and I said yes. I let him choose a sandwich for me between the two and he chose the Hot Chopped Cheese and said he thinks I'd enjoy it. He described it as a sandwich with chopped-up cheeseburger fillings inside, and they use a lamb and beef patty instead of just beef. Right, he was. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich and the meat was spiced and slightly spicy, but nothing I couldn't handle. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw. I felt like I had a well-balanced meal out of the Chopped Cheese. Flavor-packed meat, cheese, veggies, bread - that's all you need. The food was delicious, and I don't doubt that the rest of the items on the menu taste great, but the prices feel high, yes, even in this economy. I say this because I was able to finish this sandwich and still felt I had room to eat some more, perhaps a little snack. I almost always cannot comfortably finish my food in one sitting when dining out, so that was a sign to me that this wasn't all that much food, and I could tell from the get-go because the sandwich did look small.

They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!
