Geronimo and Sons should be your first call when you need plumbing repair. Allow me to explain why. Take a minute and ask yourself what you really want in a plumber. If you're like me, you're looking for someone who is: 1. Available -- Usually when your home's plumbing goes south, you need it fixed quickly. 2. Reasonably priced -- Someone who charges a fair price commensurate with the work performed instead of gouging you with "flat rate" pricing. 3. Experienced -- Someone who will take a direct approach to solving your problem and has the skills and the know-how to do the job right. 4. Conscientious -- Someone who focuses more on doing your job correctly than on getting to the next job. Does it seem impossible to find a plumber with all 4 of these qualities these days? I thought so too, until I met Geronimo. I had a slow leak from a rusty pipe on the cold water side of my bathroom sink. Of all the plumbers that I called, only Geronimo consistently had availability within a day or so (#1 above). He was also the only one willing to give me a quote before coming to my house. When I met Geronimo in person, he impressed me immediately. He quickly identified the problem and, more importantly, he foresaw the potential complications and gave me firm estimates for both situations. His price was roughly 1/3 as much as the other quote I got from a business that uses flat rates (#2 above). He isn't financing a fleet of vans or TV advertising. He's "just" one honest workman supporting his family. He asked me if I also wanted him to do the same repair on the hot water side while he was here. I know what you're thinking: "Here comes the upsell". Wrong. He said that the only additional charge would be for the parts involved -- no extra labor! And boy, am I glad that he did it. That side was in even worse condition than the side I brought him to fix. You don't normally consider plumbing to be an art form, but the practiced and skilled way Geronimo wrapped pipe threads and handled tools was a thing of beauty. Excellent response time, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his thought process. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and professionally he addressed issue (was on location within 24 hours of request, and repair was completed immediately). I needed a p-trap and studor vent installed (older house that did not have a p-trap on washing machine drain). My main concern was there was a leaking running trap. Multiple other larger companies said they could do job, just to waste my time by scheduling a 4-6 hour window, waiting until end of window, and either coming out and telling me they wouldn't install a studor vent or just calling and telling me they couldn't do it (after I sent very specific diagrams and instructions of what I needed and their dispatch told me that they did indeed provide those services). Had one even tell me it would cost $12,850 to remove the running trap and install p-trap, excluding all repair work. When I told that company's plumber that called me that I was not certain I did have a running trap, he told me it would be $499 just to run camera to check. This was at 6:40pm when I was given a 2pm-6pm window, so he obviously just did not want to work. Geronimo responded and repaired by 6pm the next day - only charged a nominal fee to run the camera, confirming that I did NOT have a running trap, and I had zero question or issue with the labor and material charges he quoted, especially considering all the work was done after 5pm, and all charges were exactly as quoted. Have his number saved for all future plumbing issues, highly recommend. It is very hard to come by an honest, responsive, and reasonably priced plumber - this is one of those diamonds in the rough, and it is also great to support a small local business. read more

Highly recommended. An outdoor water supply line to my house was broken and I was without water. Geronimo was the first to respond to my request and came in significantly more affordable than other services that had followed up later. Best of all he arrived first thing in the morning to do the repair. I also had him replace my pressure regulator valve while he was replacing the broken pipe nearby.
