I was so excited when I heard that Geronimo's had moved to it's new location. I hadn't eaten there in years but had really liked it every time I had gone in the past. Today, my daughter and I went there for lunch at 2pm. Most of the tables were empty and there were only about 8 people at the bar, so I thought we would be served quickly. WRONG. It took 30 minutes to get our food. I had ordered a Fajita quesadilla. I asked for Blackened Chicken but received grilled chicken. I didn't even complain because I was ravenous at this point. It was very mediocre. I make a much better quesadilla at home and I am not a professional chef. My daughter got an order of Buffalo Wings and she said they were good. Not excellent, but good. The kind you can get at a ton of other places. So, sadly we won't be going back to Geronimo's. read more

My girlfriend and I came here at 1am for the first time and didn't have high expectations. We ordered the honey garlic wings which were pretty sweet but they were delicious! We also ordered the chicken parm sandwich which in my opinion was better than the wings! The fries are also AMAZING!!! All the food is insanely fresh which made it that much better. We got invited by a friend this weekend to visit this place before they closed and moved to a new location. As you walk in , just from the look of a somewhat dingy place , you wouldn't expect much for the food. I can say the food blew us away!! We ordered the wings, Gorgonzola burger . Both the items were posted on the wall as " world famous " we were blown away. The service was a little slow but it's what I would expect from the last night a restaurant is open. Um can you say poor quality service?? or poor customer service in general?? OK does this place not know how to run a business?!? I went here for the first time with some old girlfriends of mine. The service at this place was absolutely horrid, I cannot even begin to explain. How is it that you can sit at a seat in the bar, order a drink, sip it there for about 30 minutes, and then be informed that some "regular" had previously been sitting there. And after my 30 mins of sitting there drinking the drink I had ordered, the bartender Jayson, told me I had to get up out of my seat for said regular. Ummm what??!! It's a bar ......if someone leaves their seat they are gone. If I order a drink and am sitting there and the seat is not reserved until the person returns that is absolute bullshit. I can't sit at a bar and order a drink if someone else had sat their previously?! you've got to be shitting me. And for a bartender to to tell a customer to leave their seat?? that is absolutely outrageous. I've never been so insulted in my life. I asked for his name and the number for the owner, he told me they don't have business cards. A business with no business cards, is this a joke? Later on a supposed manager was there, although jayson didn't tell me. And I tried to explain the situation to the "manager" Mike, and you know how he decided to take action? By telling me to forget about it and take a shot with him. EXCUSE ME!?! is this a bribe of some sort? are you trying to bribe customer service, why would a disgruntled customer want to share a drink with a manager who isn't willing resolve a problem? I'm not poor I can buy my own drink, I just want to be treated like a civilized human. Disgusting. I will never return to this establishment and will strongly discourage anyone else from doing so. If a customer sits at a bar and is served, and then is asked to leave so someone else who was sitting there at least 30 minutes ago, can sit there again, is absolutely absurd. I'll be contacting the owner and everyone else I can. Get your act together Geronimos, this is the poorest experience i've ever dealt with in my entire life. I have been a customer at Geronimo's from the old location. Glad to see the old staff back. They are all A-1 in my book. Great service, great team. Food and beer selection is still good. I liked it, I didn't love it. I start this review by saying that for months now I have been hearing great things about the food at Geronimo's so I was reasonably intrigued at this point. From the outside it's not much to look at, that's about the same on the inside. I knew that though. The fact that I was hearing so many great things about the food from a place that doesn't look like it could pull that off at all definitely added to the mystique. Perhaps this is a case of too high expectations. We shared an appetizer that was very good, it was like a pizza/flatbread with fresh tomato and cheese, this was very good. I ordered the chicken parmesan sub and it could have been better. The fries needed more salt. I heard the burgers are amazing so maybe I should have gone with that, perhaps next time I will. The atmosphere was good, the service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely go again and try something else, but this time I would have to say it didn't floor me. Then again, it is a bar/grill and perhaps i'm just expecting too much. I went on a monday for monday night football which was fine, but if i was going out for drinks on a friday or saturday night I would probably go someplace a little nicer. read more

I've watched the last two UFC cards at Geronimos... and I must admit, this place has grown on me. They have plenty of huge TVs, and really, there's nothing I love more than watching two guys duel on multiple screens at the same time. I wish the drink specials were more consistent though. Watched the fight At the new geronimos outside with friends. The food was good as usual but the service was lackluster at best. Our waitress forgot about us constantly and didn't refill our drinks or beers. Had to get the bar staff to come out to refill our drinks. Amazing food, great service, and a familiar atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered made me feel like I was at home. There is huge TVs showing all the games. After they moved to the new location we went there one night for dinner, I started with the French onion soup and a meatball sandwich, the soup came out ice cold, I told the waitress and she said we can go back and put it in the microwave, what. Then my meatball sub came out and it was ice cold. I guess they don't like serving you warm food or it sits there too long. Well we waited and went again, big mistake the food really is bad, I guess if you want to cold beer and a burger it's the place to go but don't order anything else. Three and half stars. By day it's a solid burger place with some good greek-inspired menu items. After midnight, it comes a really smoky dive bar. Pick your poison. A decent number of beers on tap, including a couple craft brews and a cider. I had a couple beers and a burger here last night. The burger was good as were the onion rings. The service was okay. Food was sub par. Everything seemed previously frozen and poorly reheated. The black bean burger was likely Morningstar farms... so hard I couldnt chew the first bite and gave up. One child got chicken tenders and only ate 1 bc they were not good. Other child got Philly cheesesteak and that wasn't good either. Spinach artichoke dip and chips were sub par. Best wings I've had in Florida. The wings are huge and are perfectly coated in great wing sauce. The sauce becomes part of the wing, not just a wing dipped in sauce. Burgers are really good too. Try the Munster Burger or Chicken Provolone Sandwich. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Geronimos for about 14 years. It is run by two brothers. Their mother has a small alteration shop down the street and she sent me to try out her boys' place. I have eaten hundreds of wonderful meals there ever since. The appetizers are superb - my favorite is the Tomato Bread - gorgeous ripe tomatoes baked on top of fresh Cuban bread with basil, olive oil and parmesan. Simple and delicious! Their wings are the biggest and best around - try the medium sauce as it's hot enough for most people. The entrees are enough for two easily and all very tasty. The Greek items are there as a result of the brothers' Greek heritage and they will not disappoint! They have the best Saganaki in town. Very highly recommended. read more

Cool little college crowd bar with a nice selection of craft beers. Prices were normL for the area and they also have darts, a pool table and also a few tables outside to escape the crowd. Sorry, but I have to go with mediocre food, extremely long wait and a manager who I don't believe told us the truth. The whole dining experience took over 3 hours. I would think they would want to move customers in and out and give them time to talk but 3 hours is crazy. Food was normal lunch food, appetizer of tomato bread which was good, large, garlicky and hot. Everyone enjoyed that. Then the lunch items: hot wings, Swiss mushroom burger and fries, and a grilled pastrami sandwich with onion rings. Normal standard lunch fare with presumably frozen fries and onion rings cooked in the deep fryer and served hot but nothing original or to come back for. Decent burger. Decent pastrami. Ok wings but wouldn't order them again. After waiting an hour for the check we called a girl over to see if she could get our check as the waiter never came back. When he brought the check we handed him the credit card so we wouldn't have to wait for him to come back again. When he brought the receipt back we noticed the discount wasn't applied. When we told the waiter he said there was nothing they could do the as the transaction was already through. This is before the tip and signature. He said he'd have the manager come out and that took another 30 minutes. His answer was the same, that there was no way they could add the discount, change or void the transaction. I do this all day at my job so I'm not sure why their system is so different. So we said okay we would pay the bill as is but the 25% should go to the waiter as his tip. The manager told us he couldn't do that and if we don't leave an additional tip we would be screwing the waiter. He ended up giving us a $10 gift card but really did not seem to be a very good manager by customer service standards and left us feeling lied too. Maybe he or someone needs to get trained on the POS system because I still don't understand if someone punches in the wrong amount how they have no way to clear it. It's a shame because the place is nice and clean, but customers need to be treated well with good food and good service if you want them to return. They said they were overwhelmed with customers but the place wasn't packed. There are so many choices I don't think we will be returning. read more

This was our first trip to the bar and grill. LOTS of TVs with sports and lots of cheering fans. I wouldn't recommend bringing children because of the yelling and cursing of the patrons. So. If that doesnt bother you...the happy hour prices were good. I had salmon oreganato. It was a very large piece of salmon. Very good! It came with a caesar salad and little red potatoes also very good. My husband had a chicken sandwich with onion rings. He said the sandwich was a high quality chicken and I tasted couple onion rings and they were very good. The server was nice but service was slow for a place not too busy. Nice neighborhood sports bar. We usually go there to watch UFC fights, since it's a fun environment, without being overly packed. The food is tasty, although a bit on the greasy/fattening side, but which sports bar isn't? lol They have plenty of TVs, so no matter where you are you'll be able to watch something.
