Nice neighborhood sports bar. We usually go there to watch UFC fights, since it's a fun environment, without being overly packed. The food is tasty, although a bit on the greasy/fattening side, but which sports bar isn't? lol They have plenty of TVs, so no matter where you are you'll be able to watch something. All of the food here is VERY good, you wouldn't guess it by looking at the place or the patrons. Pretty decent place until about 11pm. Then all of the DB's start showing up. It's a late night bar, I think they are open until 5am. Don't bring kids after 9pm because you never know what will break out. I like the place. read more

Just your typical dive bar. Nothing fancy here. Food is pretty good and they have a pretty big selection of beer for a bar its size. Some chicks got into a fist fight which was pretty funny but other than that they have darts and a bunch of tvs for entertainment. The only thing I didnt like was how loud the music is. I work at an airport and I listen to jets all day and I went one night after work and I felt more deaf from the music than the jets lol. First time here. Syd saw this place on tv, that show table talk or lets eat on PBS. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Seat yourself. Servers and bar keep help each other out. Ordered coconut shrimp for apptetizer. They were okay, Islamorada's are better. I ordered the tuscan pasta only to find out minutes later they could not prepare it because they were missing an ingredient. What establishment serving food doesn't have an ingredient at 1:30 in the afternoon. So disappointed now and ordered garlic honey wings. Syd got the grilled portobello sandwich with onion rings which she said was good and would get again. Waited 20 minutes for food. Only 4 tables with patrons and a dozen people at bar watching the games. Garlic honey wings were very good. Cooked just right. I like my wings naked. Im giving a 3 star rating because of wait time and not being able to prepare a regular menu item. We will try this place again but after 4:00pm when the chef is here who prepares special dishes. read more

Found this hidden gem on a Check Please South Florida restaurant tour...and are we ever glad we did! Not your typical sports bar venue. The food is spectacular! Try their escargot or stuffed artichokes for an appetizer (yeah, you read that right...see what I mean about not your typical sports bar fare?!) There's something for everyone on the menu. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our monthly America's Corvette Club dinner social here and all who attended agreed with our initial assessment. Geronimos is one of our go to places when my husband and I don't feel like cooking. The food is always incredible and the atmosphere is very relaxing after a stressful day at work. I went here the other night with a small group. The servers were really nice and the food was on point. We all had mozzarella sticks and onion ring with chicken tenders. Fire. Went for lunch on Sunday for the first time at the new location. I love the interior with the wood design. There are a lot of booths surrounding a huge bar and a small room with video games for the kids. They have one of the TVs showing the inside of the game room so you can keep an eye on your kids while dining. We had appetizers consisting of: escargot, hummus and chicken fajita quesadilla. Everything was delicious! Great service too- our new go to and take out spot. The menu is huge so there is lots to try. So happy this moved so close to us! read more

The worst service. We waited for 45 minutes to get our food. We asked for a manager twice. The manager didn't even bother to come. When the food finally came, it was cold and inedible. We love Gmos and couldn't wait for this new location to open as we used to go to the old location often. Food is awesome. Last night we ordered uber eats. While the food was still good, the packaging was laughable. We ordered a queso dip in which it was packaged in a typical Styrofoam container and not wrapped in plastic wrap. Sure enough, the container opened and ended up in the bag and on our food. I thought this placed served soup, I couldn't imagine having a togo order and pouring a liquid in Styrofoam togo container, yet our queso was. Whoever thought that was a good idea shouldn't be in the restaurant business. Next, my wife ordered a chicken wrap. Well it was basically a salad with a wrap loosely placed on top. She picked it up and just the tortilla came with it while all the contents fell into the container. I will post the pictures as they are just laughable. We know how Gmos is and their food is very good; so we will give it another go. However, management should be notified so they can fix this issue. First time customers would never order again if this was their initial experience. read more

First time at this new Geronimos location. Very crowded at 7 pm on at Saturday night. We ordered the escargot and the Gyro platter. I did ask about the Gyro in advance. I asked if the meat was cut fresh off the spit. The bartender said the owner is Greek and I wouldn't be disappointed. Sadly- I was. The gyro meat was dried out and it was cold. It is served with a delicious Greek salad with balsamic dressing. The escargot were good. However, there is a small roll in the middle of the plate drowning in sauce. The sauce was great. But may be better to have the bread for dipping. There wasn't enough bread. Next time we will order the burgers. Looks like they didn't disappoint our neighbors. The chicken wings also look really good. Sadly I expected more in the Greek food. But we will give it another shot. The staff is friendly and service was good. read more

Went there for dinner on October 18 2018 and arrived at about 7 pm. My wife and I each ordered cheeseburgers made exactly the same way. We received our food at 7:40 pm. After dinner we had the manager visit us as we were not happy that we had to wait 40 minutes for burgers. The server alerted the manager to our complaint so he came to our table ready to argue. He came over with the kitchen record that showed it only took 20 minutes for the food to arrive after our order was taken. He was nasty and rude and never considered that it took 20 minutes to have our order taken. This man should not be working in the hospitality business. I have been a customer for at least 15 years at their original location but I do not plan to ever go back. It was bad enough that service was horrible but a nasty manager brought it over the top! read more

Rude staff! Saw the restaurant on 7/23 on the show called "Check Please." It looked great! Went there Thursday, 7/25 with a party of 7 around 6:00 PM. Walked in - it was loud, crowded people standing all around the bar nobody really sitting at the tables - ok no problem. We will eat outside. The hostess walked us outside to a high top table and it was dirty, the seats had puddles on it because it had rained earlier and I said to her it is dirty can we get it cleaned up, she looked at me, threw the menus on top of the table and said well, it is outside - what do you expect? and walked away...I took some napkins and started to wipe the table down and said no - I am not eating here. My daughter walked inside to tell her that we were leaving and she should have had someone come outside and clean off the table, you are in the customer service industry and she said ok and that was it. I tried calling the manager and his voice mailbox was full. I tried the next day and it was still full. We will never go back! read more

I love this bar! They have a huge beer selection, mostly craft beers. Their food is also very good, especially any of the chicken dishes. The staff is pretty friendly and laid-back. The atmosphere is very college bar-like, which is cool since I'm a student. They have a pool table and a few dart boards, a bunch of TVs and some outside seating. read more

Geronimoes is thee spot to go to AFTER a night of partying else where. Nine times out of ten there will be a crowd of drunks pooring in around 2am. Arriving anytime before 10 will just ensure you a little peace and quiet if that's what you want. When it's packed it is just that. Plenty of people willing to play chatterbox. I would guess that almost everytime you will run into an old friend or make a special new one :P fun factor after 10pm is a 9. Food is nothing to rave about and pitchers are small. As long as you know how to act in public you will know which crowds to stay away from. Over drinking is never a "class act" and I do not reccomend gravitating toward the drama. Instead, casualy mingle. As I mentioned, the atmosphere is over all nice. One of the few bars I've yet to see a fight at. There has never been vomit splatter YET. The place is clean and large enough that you're not shoulder bumping. Dart boards, pool tables and the over priced Juke Box are available. BONUS: I've met some of the coolest gals there. I don't know what it is about Gmoes as we call it but it sure does summon plenty of nice women just looking to have a good time. You get what you pay for in terms of drinks. Crap beer for a decent price and good beer for more than it deserves. However this is the Florida standard. If you want cheaper and bigger portions go to the scum houses Texas Rose and Andy's. Just bring a knife and cling to your wallet and watch your step. You may already be standing in puke. Ah, speaking of puke, we all know you have to have something in your stomach to heave out. Why not make it a bit more of a pleasent experience by stopping by the Falcons Pub and asking about the OFF menu items. The food is a 10! and is perfect with a not so strong drink to let it trail down. I will talk about some of these other places at another time, until then, if you don't know where to go and it's ANY NIGHT of the week.....make it late, make it great and go to Gmoes for your good time. OMG This place is my new favorite spot in South Florida! Great food, great drinks, great prices, great atmosphere and the customer service is OUTSTANDING. I recommend the Tomato Cheese Bread, French Onion Soup, Spinach Artichoke Dip and their fabulous Buffalo Wings and Fries. The Fries are like no other they are seasoned and HUGE! The only reason I don't recommend more items is because I just haven't tried everything yet. If you like walking away with your belly full and leftovers in a to go box this place is for you. If you are going to charge me 5 dollars for a pint glass full of rum with a splash of coke, then you get 5 stars every time. This place will have you hittin the floor in no time, without hittin your wallet. They have a couple dart boards with these plastic darts that actually work quite well. And theyre safe, so you dont stab your friends. All in all, if you just want to get liquored up and have a time, this is the place to be. Read the reviews mentioning people of color not feeling comfortable at Geronimos however I'm the type of person that likes to form my own opinion so i went with my son ( we re black) to watch the B Ball game on a weekday evening in that we live 5 minutes away. When we walked in the hostess appeared shocked and uncomfortable and I informed her we like to sit at the bar. We sat down at the bar and a waiter observed us and I responded with a greeeting. He completely ignored me and walked away. Shortly thereafter a female bartender came over and provided us with menus. The sense that " we didn't belong there" was registered on many of the exclusively white patrons faces. We left without ordering anything and went to Flanagans and had a wonderful meal with a wonderful non judgemental crowd .Sad that in this day and age such bigotry still exists in an establishment that is supposed to be open to all.. If you 're a person of color avoid at all costs... Yelp apparently does not have an option for ZERO stars so I'm compelled to give the restaurant one star against my will... read more

We both ordered the Gyro Platter. Uber eats said it would be 40 minutes or so. It arrived only a couple of minutes late. No big deal. When we opened the platters, the meat was noticeably discolored and very very dry. There was no way that we could eat it. You could tell the meat was OLD! When we called to let them know we got a manager on the phone seemed like a very young girl. Extremely rude and unprofessional saying that's not her experience and that the food was fine when it left. She blamed the bad meat on the uber driver. I asked her how old the meat was or when was it was made and she said they have it brought in. Well that answers that, they have no idea how old the meat is. Scary to think they send out food with no concern that it looks bad and customers will be eating that and perhaps getting sick. They did nothing to remedy the situation, and would not take responsibility. Very disappointing! Won't be eating food from there EVER. read more
