AVOID! Guy knocked on my door, I made an appt for them to assess a project. They never showed or called/messaged to say they weren't going to make it. When I called back after they finally reached out, the guy said that the door to door people don't know the schedule and that they don't do assessments on the day that he scheduled. I said they might want to educate the people representing their company because I no longer want to do business and I also saw the bad reviews online about horrible communication. He told me "I am just an engineer, if I say anything it will fall on deaf ears" BIG RED FLAG OF A TOXIC COMPANY! When employees don't feel heard, there's many issues within. He proceeded to HANG UP ON ME when I told him he should try because he can make a difference especially if they are losing customers over poor training or scheduling with their outreach. AVOID AVOID AVOID this mess, and management, DO BETTER! No employee should feel like they aren't heard, especially about a very serious lack of communication and training that lost you an opportunity. Shame. read more

Well into 2026 and I'm still paying for that $120 k I got screwed out off. Still can't see my usage or even if all the panels are working. The monitor is still junk. Wish I didn't have to pay it off with my house. I could have sued them for miss leading me into a contract. I had Solor Panels up for two years had three panels go bad before they even got them connected correctly.. my monitoring service does not function. They will not come and take care of it but they told me I have an inverter out which will cost me over $200 labor for them to fix it. This will be the fourth problem with the Solor Panels in two years now I have to pay them labor. This is the biggest ripoff I have ever gotten myself into in my life. They are telling me I have to have their technicians work on it to keep warranty. I can't see that being true because if so, they need to do it for free. They can't tell me if I have a certified technician to work on my Solor panels that can't void my warranty. Watch out for this scam. Magnuson moss act passed in the 70s to protect the consumer. Now I find out I have 2 Solor panels that don't work. This make 5 panels Les than 2 years gone bad. They want to charge me over $200 each for repairs. 25 year warranty and I pay labor for the same problem. These panels are costing me money . read more

We had a highly concerning experience trying to exercise our right to cancel a contract with Infinity Solar USA. Within three days of signing a contract, we decided the project was not a good fit. We attempted to mail the formal cancellation notice included in our contract via certified mail, but discovered the company had left the required customer order number on our paperwork blank. Additionally, the contract states the cancellation notice 'must be sent to the person identified for this purpose in this contract' but lists no person. When we contacted our sales representative to get the missing order number, they said they would handle the cancellation internally because it was 'easier.' They never provided the order number. Despite repeated verbal and text assurances from the sales representative that our contract was successfully canceled, we continued to receive emails from the project manager with a project flowchart that indicated our project was actively moving forward. We made multiple attempts to contact the project manager via both email and voicemail to resolve this discrepancy, but they ignored our messages until we informed them we would be writing honest reviews and contacting the Better Business Bureau. The lack of transparency, incomplete paperwork, and contradictory communication make it impossible to recommend this company. Now they want to charge us a cancellation fee!? Wow I am blown away on how many times this company has ignored/ not followed up with anything . Either I have the worst coordinator who refuses to do her job or they are retaliating since I had a few complaints. I am done paying the project and I have yet someone call me back from the financial department since I still have a few questions. From the very beginning, the system has rarely been fully functional. There have been up to 4 panels out at a time several times. There has NEVER been any compensation for lost capacity. The hardware has underperformed and was oversold. As well, the initial installers damaged a collectable car by chucking stuff off the roof and hitting it causing body damage as well as barely missing hitting my daughter in the head. I was never compensated for that either. There were lots of pretty words about how that doesn't reflect how you guys do things but I ended up eating the repair on that. In short, I am disappointed in the system and how infinity solar has treated me as a customer. Right now none of the panels are reporting to the monitor and we are getting NOTHING from them because their monitor has stopped working, And then they tell me if I want to keep one of the promised features, I have to cover the replacement of a warranty item and hope I'll be reimbursed. Total Scam!!!!! I agreed to give it a try but with each month more hidden details were coming up so I asked to cancel! I continued to ask that it be canceled and at the end they sent the drawings to our HOA for approval. Our HOA replied that solar panels can not be visible from the street. Infinity responded that the state can over rule the HOA. I did not want to be put in that position so I asked for the umpteenth time to cancel. I finally got an acknowledgment from their home office saying I had to pay $5,000 to cancel. I replied that I had been asking to cancel for months! Tried to sell me a roof and solar at 64,000 for a 1100 sqft home, where similar quotes in my area were any where from 30-45k total and they were pushing the 30% tax credit that I should totally take advantage of this year which still wouldn't even get me in average high end range. At first claiming that Dte hired them to come out to put less stress on the grid and so that we could get payed back for energy not used, then I find out every solar company "partners" with Dte when installing. They also claimed that a roof would be 30% cheaper through them not even close! Stay away from these door to door scammers. I believe Infinity Solar USA is running a scam. We had a young lady come to our door asking if we were interested in solar. I think solar is a good idea in general, so I said yes to meeting with someone to discuss it. The following week on 2/18 an Infinity Solar representative came to our house and was very unprofessional. When I got home my husband told me he had come to the door and then said he was going to "take a look at the roof" but instead wandered around on our driveway talking on his phone. He also asked for a glass of water and asked to use our bathroom, which felt weird. He went through his sales pitch, repeating several times that we could walk away at any time. We agreed to a credit check and loan approval and agreed to find out if our roof was able to support solar panels. We were led to believe that the document we were rushed through signing was for those things, but apparently it was a contract with large fees involved that the rep did not disclose in any way at any time, even though we didn't confirm crucial information needed to actually start an official solar project. We were told we would have a call with a CPA about tax credit amounts, this call never happened. The following week we had a technician out to measure and take pictures of our roof for about an hour. A couple days after that we had something come up and decided not to proceed any further into finding out if solar was a viable option for us at this time. Two weeks later I get a call, an email and a text message from someone at Infinity Solar asking how they can help get our project "back on track". I said that I had emailed and said we would not be moving forward. They then asked if anyone had talked to me about an unpaid cancellation fee. I said I had not been made aware of any sort of cancellation fee. I was then told that we owed an outrageous "cancellation fee" of $1500. I asked what exactly we had cancelled since we hadn't spoken with a CPA or heard back about the structural integrity of our roof. When asked, I was told that the fee covers site survey technician's travel, time and equipment usage (tech called and was 20 minutes away and spent about an hour at our house, (so that could cost $200 if I'm being generous), design and engineering including CAD drafting, permit planning and system schematics and "administrative overhead" dealing with resource allocation. When I asked to see these things since I was apparently paying for them, I was told that nothing had happened past the site survey because we had cancelled. So still trying to figure out what exactly we were paying for, I asked for an itemized breakdown of how they came up with the $1500 amount, that request was ignored and I was then threatened with being sent to collections. During this back and forth they offered to "rework numbers" multiple times, even though I said we would not be moving forward. I asked multiple times to be mailed a bill for the fee, but they seemed desperate to get me on the phone. In my original "cancellation" email, I said I'd be happy to call Infinity in the future, but after this debacle I won't ever be doing that. Charging people a fee before knowing if a project is viable seems to me to be a terrible business model. There is a clear lack of transparency and honesty with this company. I was never given a breakdown or proof of work completed for the $1500 amount. I believe that is because this is a scam. read more

They cold called me out of nowhere to ask why my system wasn't connected to their system. When I told them they'd ghosted me instead of installing the monitor, they blew on past that and scheduled an installer to come finally finish the install. When the installer could tell me NOTHING about what information was collected etc, he called his manager and let me talk to him. Even the manager knew literally nothing about what data is gathered, how it is stored, anything at all. Is it encrypted? Who knows. Can bad actors push data/instructions TO my solar infrastructure? A mystery for the ages. The manager promised to have someone who could answer my questions call me within a week. Reader, I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that they have not, in fact, called me back. read more

This company after installing the solar panels has been blatantly disregarding the need for service. Phone tag is a regular occurrence. The last last time they (the company) scheduled time for the service and repair, but the 'crew' failed to show up. Wasted a day of work for my family who waited at home, no call that they would not be able to show up, no attempt to message and several calls, texts and emails to the numbers I have yielded nothing for days. I paid for part of the repair up front to guarantee that they would be there as scheduled. Now I am expecting the company to take the money and run. Never show up. read more

This was a very expensive lesson to learn. Once installation is complete this company will ghost you. They have phone numbers and emails and a text option to contact for support but no one will answer/respond. If they do you get the runaround while they ghost you again. Over 20+ tries over 4 months, it's just a waste of energy and time. I finally had to submit a formal CCB complaint ($50) and eventually the director of construction reached out and was able to answer my relatively easy questions. I'm unsure how this can even be a valid company and cannot recommend this company to anyone at this current time. Please stay far away for sanity sake. Imagine if my roof was leaking due to the install, we'd be screwed. I'm unsure when companies decided to not support the work they do and lost sight of customer support/service. 17% panel failure rate on new install is not an accident. I'm giving 2 stars only because Infinity eventually made things right. I had Infinity do my installation in July of 2024. I was initially approached by another company (can't recall who) through door to door solicitation. They walked me through the details and evaluation and install process but their price seemed really high ($35k). At the time, my girlfriend's neighbor had an install completed by Infinity and they seemed very happy with the process so I contacted them. Got on a Zoom call with an Infinity rep and he walked me through the numbers, system sizing to meet my demand, rooftop analysis and everything. I never felt pressured along the way to commit to anything I wasn't comfortable with or didn't understand. Infinity's price was much cheaper ($25k) although the interest rate was a point higher than the previous company. So far, so good. The installation went fine and the installers were professional. I had to then wait about 3 weeks for inspections to be completed but this really wasn't Infinity's fault. In the meantime, the loan company took my first payment and I reached out to Infinity and told them I wasn't paying yet on a system that isn't operational. Infinity was able to get my payment refunded. Again, so far, so good. Things started to go sideways right after my system was operational. The monitoring app they use wouldn't connect to my system regardless of what I tried. (I'm an IT pro and know my way around IoT devices). I called, texted, emailed for about 3 weeks and finally got in contact with someone through Infinity's Instagram account. Not a good look, ya'll. Infinity customer support said they had to "reset" something and then my monitoring app worked! Yay! And....the first thing I notice is that 3 panels out of 18 reliably never generate power. I tracked this over several days taking screenshots of the app and noting weather conditions on the screenshots. (e.g. 10am, 8/24, slightly overcast, etc.) I contacted Infinity about this and told them I wasn't going to pay for an 83% operational system. To their credit, they responded quickly and got the panels replaced within 2 business days. I'm normally a very trusting person but this seems fishy to me. I can't help but think that they knowingly install dead panels hoping that homeowners will either ignore the monitoring app or get tired of trying to get the app connected to their system and just think everything's fine. read more

A friendly salesperson came to my 67 year old mother's door this summer, convinced her that solar panels were a good idea because she's scared about her high energy bills (as a senior that will eventually be on a fixed income) and by saying that they would fix her roof as part of the project. My mother's house is over 100 years old and badly needs a new roof. Unfortunately my Mom can't use computers or devices very well and despite repeatedly asking for a physical copy of the contract, was not provided one and was made to e-sign a tablet. Because of this she missed the fact that despite the salesperson saying that her down payment would be 60% of the cost, the contract said the costs could potentially have no limit and the amount that they quoted for her roof seemed like a low-ball. After she paid them almost 20,000 they ghosted her, after which she eventually told me and asked for my help. I was able to get the contract, and saw that they had already sent her another contract with higher pricing, and after explaining the terms to her and the fact that she would need to use an app for the panels (she can't even use email, how is she going to use an app), she decided this was not right for her. I helped her make multiple communications in good faith to them trying to cancel her project, trying to get her money refunded -- always polite we never tried to get out of the cancellation fee, but even after telling her she would get a refund, they didn't refund her for over 3 months (she was owed more than 15,000). Eventually after reaching out through some different agencies they did get her the refund so I am updating this to add a star. read more

Terrible service. Initial call was with Andrew Weber. He was friendly on the phone and I had a good impression going into the Google Meets meeting he scheduled with Jesse Setzer. Which Jesse didn't show up to. I emailed, Andrew apologized, said it was some sort of software issue. Against my better judgment, I gave them a second chance and scheduled another meeting. Which they also didn't show up to. This time, there was nocall, no email, no apology. I called Andrew's number on his signature, it fully didn't work. I called their corporate office and asked for a callback from someone female or BIPOC, because I've given enough of a chance to their cis male reps. . .and I'm guessing those don't exist because I've never gotten a callback. So yeah, two skipped appointments (that were online! Not even in person! The easiest possible appointments to make it to, and they scheduled them themselves for their convenience!), no apologies or acknowledgments. I hope they go out of business, but I don't have to hope, they will if this is their level of service. read more

They dont return phone calls. Once panels are install get paid, even though its not yet up and running. you cant get a hold of them for warranty or anything else. It took 2 months one they installed. I ended up calling myself for inspections. It took two more weeks after i got inspection, i finnally got a hold of them they never submitted to the power company for the new metor so then I had to wait another two weeks. They claim I included inaccurate information. This is not true. I am removing my initial review per their demands/blackmail. They said they tried to reach me several times this year. Possibly true. My phone number changed, but I received nothing in email or paper mail from them. I responded to Elias as he asked me to, to obtain the refund that has been pending for around 18 months now. I've both called and emailed. He responded at first and asked me to drive up to Vancouver to pick up a check. I asked him to send it through the mail. I acknowledge I was off-grid on vacation after that for a couple of weeks but thought I'd have a check waiting for me, or at least an email response, when I got home. Nothing. He stopped responding. Would not recommend. Our experience was typical of a bad contractor: great salesman that sold us a white glove service level followed up with an invasive construction process with seemingly no one in charge. Each step in the process was a surprise and we never found the bottom of how much we weren't made aware of the process along the way. Our salesman left the company and we felt treated like another job with a contractor that had more work than they could perform. There was no project manager, just remote customer service agents to try and track down. From the roofers working until 8:00PM, taking off and leaving a trailer parked in our driveway for four days after leaving behind a large mess and damaging our neighbors house, to having a new contract document stuck in front of us with no explanation behind it, no visibility into the steps in the process (turns out we had to be home for an entire day to wait for a city inspection. Again, would have been OK had we known to expect it) and unfulfilled representations to follow-up and provide customer service. Each person at the company was pleasant to deal with, there was just no follow through, and expectations were consistently set and then not met. Typical of a contractor that has too much work and is on fire moving from one job to the next. If this were a product that could be returned, I would have done so. I had been researching solar for quite some time, shopping around and comparing prices here and there. One of their guys (Samson) ended up connecting with me, I always am skeptical of sales pitches and do my research on quality and price. Turns out they had all of the competitors I was researching beat! Ended up finally pulling the trigger on solar and Samson made the process easy and as smooth as possible. Price was great, customer service was phenomenal, they answered any and all questions I had with the upmost knowledge about the product and installation was a breeze. I can not recommend them more and thank you Samson! read more

I have only been up and running for a few months and so far they are operating great. Getting them up and running was a huge hassle. Supply chain issues with the product and then lack of electricians employed. I will say they paid my solar panel billl until they were officially turned on. I think that is pretty awesome and they never gave me flack for asking. So far so good. I am hoping I store enough energy to get through the winter. read more

Will NOT leave us alone. We have multiple "No soliciting" signs on our home. One of them is eye-level, right on the door. We work from home. Even during non-work hours, *this is our home*. We could not be MORE out of the way of the world by being in our own, private residence. I don't know if illiteracy is part of the job requirement, or "disrespecting a potential client's wishes" is. Maybe both. Because of the very clear "No soliciting" signs on our home, we answer the door when someone shows up because it could be an emergency. Or they could be one of the local utility companies with a VALID need to speak with us. When we open and hear it's them AGAIN, and express our disinterest, they are rude and condescending. I'm not sure why the owners or managers or whoever think this is a solid sales tactic. It's borderline harassment. At this point I've determined that should we eventually go down the path of solar (we actually would like to), we will absolutely never use these Infinity. I cannot wrap my head around disrespecting people in their own home as an effective sales strategy. Stop doing this. read more

We were interested in solar but didn't know where to start. Infinity Solar provided all the info and options we needed. They designed a layout for our roof that prioritized the most sun considering the trees casting shade over the house at different parts of the day. The installation was great and has the panels have been performing perfectly! We're very happy with everything. read more

Overall, a good experience and glad I went with Infinity. Positives: Installation team was world class. On time, and did a great job. Electrician- Came over multiple times and always willing to answer question. He was very easy to talk to. Infinity Back Office- Very kind and easy to talk to. They did everything they said they would. Negative: Sales process- Looking back on it, there was definitely a used car sales vibe. Very friendly, but now I know that, although my questions got answered, I didn't always get the full answer that could have helped me make a decision. lesson learned....if you are thinking about solar,, do your own research. Do not rely on the biased and incomplete response from a salesman. Overall, though, I'm glad I got Solar and think it is a good long term hedge against rising utility costs. read more
