We were two couples dining on a Friday evening and loved every dish we tried. We were a little hesitant as the only reservation we'd been able to get was for outside. The temps were going to be in the high eighties. I'm glad we still came. There was a slight breeze, plus the fans, and the covered tenting, made for a comfortable setting. And it was a tad quieter sitting outside. Our only minor quibble was that our server was busy entertaining and had a lot of tables. But although it was a long time between courses, we got to relax and enjoy our conversations. My husband and I shared a grilled Caesar. The baby lettuce had a nice smoky flavor. It was a good appetizer. After that he had the pb and fois gras -- which he adored. And I had the grilled artichokes. It was not what I expected -- I was thinking they would be whole. But the dish was good. We shared lamb meatballs next -- and they were very good. Our friends started with the burrata. The plate was gorgeous -- so colorful. And the burrata very creamy. For their main dishes, she had the lobster and shrimp flatbread and he had the grilled salmon rice bowl. They both enjoyed their choices. For dessert, we had the blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Served hot, it was slightly sweet without being cloying. We can't wait to bring friends here. We've already recommended the restaurant to folks several times.

That said, I'm taking off one star because of the way reservations are handled before opening. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope you take this as a friendly reminder that we want to eat here, we just don't want to boil outside.

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

It had been sometime since we stopped into Sixty Vines so it made sense. We showed soon after work so we beat the rush(plenty o groups came in after had got there). We grabbed a couple spots at their long bar. Its a big one but it feels homey, brightly lit. And the bartenders are friendly and quick. Ours had us try a couple things so we got to settle into a couple of excellent glasses. They have 60 actual taps for their wines, so to sample is ecouraged. It was a great call on a happy hour, we could have done worse. I'd give it a couple more weeks, and we will be ready to skip the gym again for a nice cab.

There was valet a lot of free parking in front of the restaurant. This was a real happening, the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. I'm glad our reservation was honored and we only waited for about five minutes. The restaurant was noisy, but fortunately the tables were spaced so we were not on top of each other. In 1971 J. Alexander opened in Nashville, Tennessee. There are 44 restaurants, mostly in the south, with 2,700 employees. They are considered a casual American food chain offering gift cards & VIP membership. Friends love their salads and with seven choices some with shrimp Louie or Asian tuna, what could be bad? The sandwiches, soups, burgers, sandwiches, steaks & house specialties look appealing. There is an extensive wine list, with many by the glass along with crafted martinis & cocktails. Joshua waited on us, he was on point. We started by sharing a delicious calamari appetizer that was enough for four of us. The calamari was fresh crispy and tasty. I shared baby back ribs with a huge baked potato and delicious coleslaw with my husband, it was more than enough for the two of us. Friends enjoyed their huge salads, they looked very good and they raved about them. The portions were very generous and prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal. I can't wait to go back again. We've got a new favorite local restaurant!
