My colleagues and I had dinner here recently and it was really good. We were well taken care of. We had a variety of appetizers to start. I really liked the meatball in sauce. The crostini was good as well. For my entree, I had the Scallop Risotto with marinated artichokes, sun dried tomatoes. The scallops were perfectly cooked. We have been to Giada's for dinner and brunch. We enjoyed our dinner but the brunch menu is our choice, this was our 2nd time eating brunch. Booked via Opentable. It's located inside the Cromwell Hotel facing the strip. If you can score a window seat it's a whole different experience. When I made the reservation they offered the option of reserving a window table for $25 per person. We declined but were seated at the window at no charge when we arrived and let them know we were celebrating a special occasion. The service was great and the manager checked in to see if we were enjoying the view and our meal. We went to Vegas for a fun weekend prior to a work trip there - we got a reservation at Giada and it was fabulous. We had the nicest waitress, a window table with a view of the strip, and the food was delicious. We started off with the roasted artichoke appetizer. It was good. The Signature Lemon Spaghetti with Shrimp was succulent with just the right amount of flavor and sauce. I might just be craving it in the months to come. Bravo! My husband had the scallops and said they were delicious. We enjoyed our cocktails too - I had the Cosmo Bianco and really enjoyed it to kickoff a night of fun! Husband said his dirty martini was perfection with Gorgonzola cheese stuffed olives. Be sure to order the focaccia bread - with an olive tapenade that they custom make table side, it's sure to be a hit plus we saved some of the bread for sauce dipping with our entrees. That was a great tip from the waitress. I appreciated that the waitress asked if we had any time constraints so they could be sure we weren't late for our show that night. Loved it! Highly recommend. My recent dinner at Giada's was a huge disappointment. For years I have been dining here on my visits to Vegas, but I won't be returning to this restaurant again. My friend and I had reservations and we were seated on time. Our waiter was prompt to get to us and answered our menu questions. But...he was dressed in a filthy white jacket and we both noticed it immediately. We shared the shrimp cocktail and it was good. She had the pork chop and said it was good also, but the side of pasta was awful and after three bites, went uneaten. I had the charcuterie plate and it was terrible. Came with 3 salty salami piles and 3 chunks of cheeses that were bland. There was a small bowl of pickled cauliflower that was so sour it tasted like pure vinegar. After a couple of bites of that, I gave up. The 4 small slices of focaccia bread were very good. There was nothing else on the plate. In the past this menu item included with nuts, olives, fruit and a slice of fresh honeycomb. Finally the waiter returned and we ordered the salted caramel cookies and coffee for desert. The coffee arrived quickly but we waited so long for the cookies, I had to flag the waiter down and ask him to bring them. Then, we waited forever for the check. After another long wait, I asked another waiter to ask our waiter to come get my check payment. The food and the service were way below par on this visit. It took the two of us over 3 hours to complete our dining experience there, from 6:30 to 9:30. Good thing we didn't need to be anywhere else at a set time that evening. Never saw a manager or had anyone come around to check to see how our dinner was going. And the restaurant was only about half full with customers. Just seemed like a poorly run restaurant this time. Lots of great places to eat in Vegas, so I'm done with Giada's. read more

I stopped by Giada's on a Tuesday night and was lucky to get the last seat at the bar. I started my meal with a perfectly balanced moscow mule cocktail. I sipped on my cocktail and admired the décor. I arrived already knowing that I wanted Giada's famous lemon spaghetti. I chatted with the friendly bartender as I waited for my entrée to arrive. It looks beautiful on the plate and tastes as good as it looked. Perfectly cooked pasta with a lemon cheese sauce and two large succulent shrimp. An amazing, yet simple, pasta dish that I need to try to make since the recipe is on the Food Network web site. I ended my very satisfying meal with another cocktail. What a difference a year makes. Last year, celebrated a friend's birthday and left completely satisfied with all aspects of the experience. This year, it was horrible. Food quality, less than average, service was so slow it turned into a 3 hour dinner. Steak was served cold, fish was also cold and texture was like rubber. Then the bill came and they took off a drink to make up for it. Very expensive high end restaurant on the strip with great views, and it all stops there. We were able to walk in on a Saturday evening (5:30pm)- I saw that there weren't that many open tables yet, so I think we got really lucky! Giada is THE Giada de Laurentiis' restaurant at The Cromwell- interior is super nice, with nice big windows with a view of the Strip. Service was phenomenal- our server was so warm and welcoming and made some fantastic recommendations. Food: Appetizer- try the bacon wrapped dates, served atop a great dollop of gorgonzola cheese and sprinkled with lemon zest and green onion. It's a hearty start and packs a lot of flavor. For mains, I got the scallops served on risotto with wild mushrooms and asparagus. The scallops were cooked to perfection and had just the right texture, and went so well with the rich risotto. My husband got the Lobster Ravioli, which he LOVED- he did say he wished the portion was a little bigger. If you go on the weekend, you absolutely must try the Clouds of Tiramisu- I won't ruin the surprised but just make sure you have your phone out and ready to go when they bring it out ;) Great option for dinner on the Strip! We had an absolutely fabulous dinner at Giada's after going to the Sphere. We all went with the Prix Fixe menu with wine pairing and we enjoyed each course and wine very much. The arugula salad was so fresh! The lemony spaghetti OMG best thing I've ever eaten. The shrimp is so plump it's like a baby lobster tail. The short rib was to die for so tender. We LOVED it all. Beautiful ambiance, not too loud. Our server was amazing as well. The only little hiccup was they brought out the second course while we were still finishing our first course, I mean they didn't even clear plates ? and they were bringing out the next course? We had a large party and called ahead to confirm we could have separate orders. We were told multiple times that it would NOT be a problem. Until, we sat down and we're told we could only split it 4 ways. Fine. We finally ordered drinks. Those took awhile, and we waiting and waited for our waiter to take our order. Service was mediocre at best. Oysters weren't all that juicy but the sauces were good. Salad was tasty and my steak was really good. My mom is a huge Giada fan so she really wanted to try this restaurant. Went there on a Monday night. Place was about 75% full. Our waiter was great. He was super courteous and helpful without the fake smiles, which I really appreciated. For food, my dad got the tasting menu(arugula, bucatini, chicken marsala , tiramisu). For appetizer we got the meatball and bread board. My mom got the signature lemon spaghetti and I got the salmon. Everything was very good. Pasta was all al dente. The lemon spaghetti looked small but it was a lot of pasta! My salmon came out medium rare, which was surprised and a bit worried about but they said that's how they cook it and it actually was very good. One small disappointment was that the butter that came with the bread board was just regular butter. I was expecting herb butter or honey butter or something with a bit of a twist. A 10 out of 10 for the evening... With A+ Ratings for Fred, Vincenzo & Josh. We have lost count for the number of visits to Giada's since the opening in 2014, but this was an evening of friends, conversation and fantastic wine & food. In fact, if we're being honest, we enjoyed it even more than the New Year's Eve party hosted at Paris.... which we have had the luxury of attending a few times already over the years... Even though Fred wasn't our server, he was one of the first people we saw coming in and gave us each a nice hug...he knew that we would prefer the seating in the restaurant, versus the bar/lounge seating where he was working, so he had already let the front Hosts know to seat us with Vincenzo or Lauren... then we got to the table and Vincenzo, who I had requested based on the area he was working gave us a very warm welcome... later in the evening, Josh came by to also give us a Holiday greeting with such a kind personality. It was a night of ongoing conversations with people we have gotten to know over the years. John & I shared the half dozen oysters, John had the scallops, which he loved... I had the salmon, we had a wonderful wine... and top it off, that Hot Cocoa Soufflé was just fantastic.. which I hope remains permanently on the menu. I only wish I had taken a picture of it.. .... I just wanted you to know... and if there is anything you can do to make those squash blossoms on the side of the salmon an appetizer, it would get my vote! One was not enough! read more

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Didn't give a five star for two reasons. One the chicken that was served with Gilda's signature spaghetti was a bit dry. Let me get the items I do not like out of the way so I can share what I do love. Cons: 1. if you want a table by the window, it'll cost you an upcharge on the reservation. We were sat at a table not by the window and can see a table at the window was available for over 20mins but it was not provided to us. I did asked when we checked in for a window table if possible and was told she'll see. I guess she saw and we couldn't have a window table for 2ppl. 2. We got a table at a booth that is so high you cannot see over it while having dinner. I wished I was at a regular table which allowed me to look at the nice restaurant and feel less like I'm in a corner. Pros: We arrived early and were asked to wait while they get our table ready. Not a problem, we sat at the bar and had a few cocktails. It's Sunday evening at 7pm and the bar area was nice and quiet. Our drinks were amazing and the bartenders were great. A must stop for a few cocktails. We were then escorted to our table. As I stated above, wished we were given a better table. Menus in hand, our server Carlos was great! Attentive, recommended and followed up. We had a lot of food but we wanted to try a variety. All were good, the pasta and Mac-n-cheese were the best. My boyfriend and I came here tonight for the first time. We wanted to have a nice dinner. We try to do at least one nice place anytime we come to Vegas. It was really nice to get dressed up and come here for an early dinner. The dining room area is very nice and very comfortable. You also have a nice view. The waiters, and hostess all looked very nice. They were all dressed so fancy like. We had a couple different people wait on us, but we had our main waiter. He was very attentive to us as well as everyone else who helped us. And we all sparked up some conversation, which was nice. It's always nice when they make things more personal with you. We both got a couple of things to try. He got the lemon spaghetti with shrimp. That was absolutely delicious. Cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Perfect flavors. We got the bread board as well. We really enjoyed that. I got the chicken piccata. I've ordered it so many times the other restaurants so I wasn't sure what to expect here. It's a little bit different than I normally would get somewhere else, but I loved it so much. It is now one of my favorite versions of this dish. I absolutely loved the sauce that came with it. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it had the perfect crisp to it. We also got the risotto, which was very good. The risotto is a little filling so I recommend sharing it. They give you a fair amount. I definitely recommend coming here. It got busy pretty fast. I'm not sure if a reservation is required but I would recommend making one. It's a nice casual place. Most people , ourselves did dress nice. I did have nice tennis shoes on, but I wore a really nice long floral dress. My boyfriend wore a nice shirt and his work pants. The bathrooms were also very nice and kept clean. Everything seemed pretty spotless and everyone who worked there seemed pretty on top of things. We definitely want to come back here and bring some family with us. There's some more things on the menu that I would love to try. The noise level to me was low for the amount of people there. Most places get pretty loud, but it was just a really nice comfortable meal. Unfortunately, we didn't get any drinks. We got to experience the lovely heat out here this time of year and it just wasn't the time. But they looked like they had a pretty good selection of alcohol to choose from and had a bar. I love that everything was so fresh and they make the pasta. I added some photos below of our meals and of the restaurant. They do have a parking garage, but there wasn't any parking left so we just went ahead and did valet. If you've been to Vegas, you know that can run pretty high in price. So it was $40 for a valet, but we really didn't have a choice. I really love the little extra touches that the restaurant does. The name on the plates. The name on the napkins. Loved the entire experience, she picked a nice Malbec for dinner. She ordered the tasting menu and was thoroughly satisfied. It included a nice arugula salad, lemon pasta, chicken Marsala (with potato gnocchi) and Tiramisu. I had the fabulous bacon wrapped dates and sausage app with bucatini. Wow the pasta was perfect. Italian fare by celebrity chef Giada DeLorentiis. I came for weekend brunch although they also have an evening hours too. Located inside the Cromwell hotel, spacious interior has good view of the strip, Bellagio fountains and the Caesar hotel. View is great, but it is $25 per person to get that view. Menu is fairly small but diverse, and likely there will be something for everyone. I had eggs Benedict with prosciutto and avocado which were amazing, and came with add on of hollandaise sauce, served table side. For appetizer I had meatballs which were pretty good, six small meatballs in marinara and Parmesan cheese. My wife had polenta waffle with chicken which was again pretty good! Downside of Giada is the price. With one drink and tip you are looking at close to $100 per person for brunch, and drinks are not very stiff. Steak dinner prices for brunch Italian menu is perhaps not everyone's cup of tea. Lastly, the service is rather slow, and it was not terribly busy. We had some dietary restrictions, vegan and dairy free...nothing too out of the ordinary....so we requested a couple tweaks, and EVERYTHING came out wrong. They did their best to fix it, but it was, like I said, a mess. I'm the end, everything was still not as requested, but the vegan did get a vegan dish and the dairy-free did get a dairy free dish. Mine wasn't what I asked for, but it was still good. I also tried a bite of the waffle, and it was delish. So, the food is good! I've been coming here throughout the years and I'm sad to say I think the quality has gone down a lot. Either that or they don't have their best staff working Friday day shift especially in the kitchen. When our order came out some of it was wrong and got "fixed" but once the correction came out it was missing parts of the dish so the took it off our check. My simple spaghetti and meatballs was so congealed together that I had to cut it with a knife and couldn't twirl it. The amount of sauce was also lacking. Our steak also was over cooked and under seasoned. The better items we got were the pastry selection and my mimosa. Our waiter didn't seem to care what we thought and just took things off then when it was time to go offered to remake it. I'd be willing to try it again but not for brunch. I was super pumped to try this place. I cancelled my reservation with the oldest Steakhouse in town to come here. I regret it tremendously, but there was still some wins and some positives to take. The good = Giada's Signature Bread Board & Seasoning Try is a must! It was stellar. The Orzo meatballs were excellent as well. The front desk workers were extremely nice and helpful. The not-so good = No soup selection. It always shocks me that Italian restaurants dont have Italian bread. They should have Italian Wedding Soup too. But thats a tough ask. I was a bit bummed on the Giada's Signature Lemon Spaghetti. I thought pasta made at my house was tremendously better. You can tell from my reviews that i eat a ton of good food. I was very bummed on the Lemon Potatoes. Please replace these with some excellent mashed potatoes. Lastly, the service wasnt very good either. If it wasnt for the bread and the Meatballs, i would give it 1 star. Beautiful place. Solid vibe. The decor is great. The view was good. But i thought it was like middle of the mall food. I have no freaking clue, but it really ticked me off and I was disgusted with this GenX/Boomer waiter's attitude more than my husband's chef boyardee-tasting pasta dish. Normally I wouldn't have such an elitist attitude towards the service industry (as I used to work in a service adjacent industry myself) but for someone as old as he is, you'd think he'd have a better attitude given that his livelihood relies on heavily on tips. The wine selection was exceptional and fairly priced. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was great. And the menu was really exciting. We ordered fried calamari (a must for my girlfriend at any establishment that offer it no matter how upscale); then that was followed by a prima piatti of Orccietta in red sauce; then followed by a rack of lamb in herbs. We split everything. Here is the issue why this place is not getting 4 stars from me if not 5. Everything was way too salty. That's it. The food was great... but too salty. If food is too salty, then it isn't right. And this is an easy fix. Salt it lightly and then let the guest use cheese to salt it, or even simply sprinkle some salt on it. Pasta with red sauce should be salted lightly, because everyone grates cheese on it, and Romano is essentially nothing but milk and a lot of salt. If Giada herself were in the kitchen this wouldn't have happened. But she was not in the kitchen. On a really good note - I repeat, the wine was great, and after dinner we had dessert and cappuccinos and both were perfect. Ordered the sweet peppers (fresh but goat cheese was flavorless) the signature lemon pasta (delicious but I don't know if I would order it again because it left me feeling heavy), and the cioppino (great seafood flavors but I felt we needed more of the tomato base soup). Vegas food scene is usually hamburgers and steaks and if you ask anyone, what's your favorite restaurant they mention some kind of steakhouse. Giada is not really a Vegas style restaurant . It is sophisticated, modern pleasant, beautiful decor, and the food is extremely authentic Italian without overwhelming taste. We ordered the lobster ravioli and the lemon spaghetti. Both were outstanding well balanced very tasty. The service was outstanding. The cocktails were great and we tried the strawberry soufflé which was memorable. We loved this Resturant everything that we heard and watched on TV regarding her cuisine it all came true. The only drawback is the crowded location which is a part of the Cesar's Group. read more

Another 5 star restaurant in Vegas. Located at the top of the Cromwell, Giada provides a beautiful view of Vegas and stunning elegance for the atmosphere. Service was perfect with the staff attentive and friendly. The thing that we all agreed on, was that the food was outstanding, but in a totally different way. Instead of offering top notch heavy proteins, Giada comes at you with light, refreshing, and delicious Italian inspired fare. I would never have imagined lemon spaghetti to be on a 5 star menu, but it is, and it was DELICIOUS. Everyone at the table raved about the refreshing quality of the dish. That is what stood out for all of us. Giada doesn't try to stuff you full, she just gives you the perfect amount of light, fresh and delightful food. IMHO, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Other places have top-notch food, but in her niche, there is nobody better than Giada!! read more

Very disappointed in Giada restaurant not only she my favorite Food network chef also I was looking forward in eating good Italian food. First all the service was only average from the hostesses checking me in . I got there about 15mins before my reservation. The hostess was very rude saying that I'm early and she will sit me closer to my reservation so have a seat in the lounge area. Also after dinner leaving the two hostess didn't even acknowledge Thank You or good night nothing . Customer service is lacking in that department. Our waiter and bus person was very good they came by often to see if we needed anything and also filling our glass of water . Atmosphere is ok located on the 2nd floor of the Cromwell hotel and casino the restaurant is over looking the strip if your seated next to the window . Now for the meal my wife and I ordered their flat bread with pistachio and cheese w/Bologna for appetizers.My wife had Giada special Lemon pasta w/shrimp while I ordered the A5 Wagyu w/scallops . Also our waiter recommended the mushroom risotto for a side . My wife's pasta was a little over kill on the lemon also the shrimp was not soft it was hard and chewy . My entree was not good either the Wagyu was very tough and rubbery I had Wagyu before it should not taste like that it should just melt in your mouth . The scallops had a little ammonia smell that means only one thing it was not properly refrigerated. The mushrooms risotto was also very salty more than the usual. I think Giada should come by to her restaurant and do a taste test with all her chefs and cooks because I know if she was cooking the shrimp would not been over cooked and the Wagyu would have been tender . Also I was looking forward to a nice ice cold Italian beer Peroni than of course our waiter came to the table with Stella Artois I didn't want a Belgium beer . He said they didn't have Peroni available what kind of Italian restaurant don't sell Italian beer . Unfortunately I was going to recommend this restaurant to my sister and brother in law when I return to Las Vegas in June but I re-thinking the recommendation. read more
