After reading the reviews, I was excited to try a new pizza spot in the newly area I moved too. I saw the sign, $9.99 for two slices and a soda. I went in and saw a better sign that reads, Happy Hour from 2p-4p, BOGO free on grandma or Sicilian style slices. I got one of each. The slices were fine, a little smaller than other spot. The grandma's was just okay for me. I didn't taste anything different about it. I tried the Sicilian which was fantastic! I'm going back for more. Looking for a highly regarded pizza establishment that was new to us, after reading some glowing Yelp reviews Diane and I arrived here very hungry for dinner to see and taste for ourselves. We were not disappointed! A Garden Salad with Italian Dressing was large, cool, and included fresh greens, chunks of tomatoes, onions, cucumber slices, small olives, and the unusual addition of a few welcome slices of roasted red pepper. Medium-sized Mozzarella Sticks that had Mozzarella Cheese oozing out of them on the outside, were gooey on the inside, and yet maintained a crisp and solid exterior were probably the best I have ever tasted for pure flavor. And, hot and obviously freshly baked Garlic Knots were not far behind. The taste of garlic was clearly there but subtle, which I prefer. We ordered two 14-inch medium pizzas. One was topped with ham and extra cheese. The salty ham flavor was evident, and the dough was perfect, but not that much extra cheese was visible on top of it. My made-to-order pizza consisted of four toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, and sliced tomatoes. As I prefer, the tomatoes were cooked with the pizza rather than loaded on afterwards. This pizza's dough was also cooked perfectly; tomato sauce and cheese were well apportioned; and the pepperoni packed great flavor. All pieces of tomato were ripe but mostly quarter-slices or less; the green peppers and mushrooms tasted fine but were rather small in size; and I would have liked more of them on top of my pizza. Moreover, although I thought both pizzas were excellent, and I understand that they are called here "thin-crust New York style pizzas," I missed the thicker dough, mass, and heft of traditional New York style pizza. Sometimes you just need a good slice. That's what we got today at Gianna's Pizza. I read about Gianna's on Yelp and it did not disappoint. We ordered a small sausage NY style pie along with garlic parm wings and fries. Sherry and I visit Las Vegas a couple of times a year. We have our Indian Buffet, donut, and Dim Sum places. Add Gianna's to that rotation! The pizza was thin and chewy with (as the pizza guys say) little flop. The wings and fries came out hot and crisp. The garlic parm was more parmy than garlicy but still delicious. With sodas, tax and tip, we got out under $50. Give it a try, so good! read more

Gianna's always does good by me. We've been here multiple times over the years, and the service is always efficient, the pizza is delicious, and the wait is never too long. The last two visits we ordered the Alfredo pizza, it's a hit with the whole family, and you know we gotta add on some of their yummy fries! I overheard another customer ask for his fries (he ordered garlic cheese ones I believe but they forgot to add the toppings) he came back in asking them to add the toppings, that he eats them on the car ride home because they're so good, if he brings them home his wife eats them all! Haha, don't let me catch my hubby hiding fries from me is all I gotta say! I've yet to dine in for a meal, but today we did opt to sit inside and wait for our pizza, it worked out because it was not super busy at the time we stopped by besides a few other takeout orders. I love this place so much, the food is amazing and the customer service is unmatched. I wanted to leave a review for the wonderful worker who is always there when I come in. I came in tonight about 30 minutes before closing, and just like every other time, he was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Just moved into this zipcode. I always have chkd out pizzerias within a small radius I can get delivery or carry out. Chose Gianna's in part by rating, but isn't my final decision in my process. I called for a carry out Margherita style thin and WOW! Presentation, style, and service immediately hit me when I walked in. Had just pulled from old style Italian window ovens and greeted me with smile. I picked up some red pepper as well as Parmesan and away I went. I arrived home, and couldn't wait for the 1st bite! I got two of those to go just out of curiosity and then I ordered a grandma's pizza which was really good. Writing this review as it happens. Came over here from the Las Vegas convention center. Saturday has a 14" cheese special for $12.99, I think. $17.55 after a 25% tip and tax. They told me 15 minutes, but it was ready in under 13. 5 four-top tables, and 4 two seaters inside with another 4 outside that creates a little patio on astroturf. I probably prefer more grease than this pie had. Cheese didn't slide off, which is always nice. The sauce has flavor, but there was something that was missing, and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe just the grease. The by the slice slices looked great. I almost got a couple, but wanted to give a review on a fresh pie. Maybe the daily special doesn't get the premium ingredients. On my never ending quest to try as much pizza in Las Vegas as I possibly can, It was time to try Gianna's Pizza for the first time a few weeks ago. Located inside of a pretty empty plaza on West Sahara (Office Depot is closing now, so it's about to be even more empty) and located roughly five minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. We placed an order on the phone and was told it would be done in about fifteen minutes.....well, when we walked in the door to pick it up they definitely forgot to make the pizza so they told us it would be about twenty minutes so we just walked over to CVS to kill time. Twenty minutes later we were back at Gianna's Pizza and they handed us two pizzas instead of one, which immediately made me forget about the wait and appreciate the fact that they did something to make up for it, which is super cool. Originally we ordered a large cheese pizza (and ended up leaving with two) and waited until we got home to crack the boxes open and give them a shot. I tried a slice or two from each pizza, and both were pretty much the exact same (obviously, they are both cheese pizzas) and both pizzas were pretty alright, pretty solid, and pretty okay. The cheese was was greasy and solid enough, the crust wasn't too crunchy which I like, and the sauce was pretty solid too. Overall, Gianna's Pizza isn't my favourite pizza place in the city, but it also wasn't a bad experience. I thought the food was okay and I really appreciated the fact that the staff here made up for the extended wait as well. Will I return? Probably, this place is close enough that I'll definitely give the rest of the menu a try in the future and see what this place does with everything other then pizza. read more
