We decided to try this spot after seeing several Instagram clips highlighting their ramen flight, which looked really fun and unique. Since we were visiting Vegas, it felt like something worth checking out. That said, once we actually sat down and looked at the menu, the ramen flight was a bit off-putting. The photo showed four cups of what appeared to be instant cup-of-noodle ramen topped with skewers of crab, chicken, and steak. Whether that's exactly what's served or just how it was presented in the photo, the advertising didn't match our expectations, and we ultimately decided to skip the flight altogether. Instead, we ordered the traditional shoyu pork ramen, which was pretty good and enjoyable overall. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and since the restaurant wasn't very busy, service was extremely fast. Our food arrived within about 5-7 minutes of ordering. With so many great dining options in Vegas, I'm not sure this would be a must-return spot for us, but it wasn't a bad experience either.
Ambient is kinda typical. Nothing that really stands out. Some Japanese decor. Some Xmas lights.. so forth. Playing Hawaiian music as the ambient background music. Kinda weird for a Japanese restaurant but I don't mind as I'm from hawaii Service was good. Keep in mind it's 430pm and we are the only ones in here. So I would hope they make sure we are good. Lol. So onto the food. They got noodles. Ramen. Saimin. Bowls. Fried. Appetizers. Seems like a decent selection. But this time we tried the combo beef noodle and yohama creamy salmon. Seaweed salad as the appetizer. I enjoyed the creamy dish. Has a little sweetness to it. Lime. Coconut taste to it. Almost like a coconut curry type taste but more mild and thinner. The other dish seemed like more a typical base noodle soup with different toppings based on your preference. Both were good. But my partner didn't like the creamy soup but I loved it. So to each there own Seaweed salad was not fishy or ocean salty tasting. I have tasted a few like that. Next time I'm here I want to try the cup of noodles combo. It's $60 but it looks like it's good for 4 people or 2 really hungry people Only thing that sucks is a few times I wanted to come here for lunch. But they don't open till 5pm. Weekends they do open for lunch though
I want to give proper respect to Yokohama Noodles because I have been coming here even before, and it still hits every time. The signature chicken miso soup is amazing!! The flavor is so good on its own that you really do not need to add any extra chili, in my opinion. We also got the beef combo soup, and it was fire. It kind of reminded me of pho, but with a completely different palate and flavor profile. It was super comforting and really well done. I have had the tomahawk steak here before as well, and it is genuinely out of this world. It honestly makes me sad that not more people come here just because it is upstairs, because this place truly deserves more recognition!!
My brother's been wanting to go here for awhile now. Every time he sends me the link I'm skeptical, looking at all the cup o noodle pics. Seems like a novelty place rather than a legit authentic spot. But he always reminds me it's the tomahawk ribeye ramen he wants. So who can say no to that? We had a chicken Karrage app, spicy edamame, couple rice bowls, and a tomahawk ribeye ramen with black garlic broth and "spicy" for the other which was basically curry. Pretty much every dish we got was mid, not memorable. Nothing crave worthy and nothing worth all the hype as far as I'm concerned. The table was very small for 4 people with all these dishes, and then trying to share ramen. We had to ask for small bowls to share, more napkins, forks, lemon, etc. The supposed star of the show was quite a disappointment. I wasn't the one paying but it was $100 and it was so fatty and sinewy, difficult to cut, which sort of kills your appetite. The good pieces were really good, great char flavor. But they were far and few between, felt like 30% of the steak to where you felt bad to take a good piece and needed to sacrifice them for the other guests. To make matters worse, they give you 2 knives for 4 people, so then we had to ask for yet something else, and they're very cheap steak knives that barely cut through the sinewy, fatty steak. The servers were very friendly but they didn't elevate or authenticate an otherwise very awkward, uncomfortable dining experience, combined with very average food. There's probably over 100 restaurants in Chinatown that I may never be able to experience all but want to. So with that in mind, I could certainly never justify going back here. "First and last"
We saw Yohama Noodles' instagram post about their Yohama Flight and had to check it out during our trip. The restaurant is located in the heart of Chinatown in Vegas. It's very casual dining and opened late for those who get the late night munchies. Yohama Flight is a tasting menu of 4 different ramens and meat toppings. Normally it's chicken katsu, chicken wings, steak, soft crab and shrimp but given some food preferences in our group, they substituted the seafood options. The Flight is $59 but enough food for 2-3 people. You will not leave hungry! It was nice to try different ramen flavors. Their menu includes various noodles soups, rice bowls, and appetizers. The cucumber salad was super fresh and tasty! The jalapeño gave it a nice kick. Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and inviting. If you want to try some delicious Asian food off the Strip, this is a must!
1st -Located on the 2nd floor of the plaza. 2nd- the Ramen Flight is the whole reason for coming and it did not disappoint. 4 totally different ramens to try and the portions were larger than the photos. The curry chicken ramen had to be my top out of the 4.
Food was descent. Didn't really hit my palate. Service was great. It's not a bad place to bring a family. They got some Thai and Japanese food. Be careful though because the price on some items range from decent value to pricey.
This was a fabulous experience! Visually, the restaurant is fun and welcoming. The service was impeccable, so friendly and fast! We ordered the whole grilled squid as an appetizer but were brought a second one because the server deemed it "a little small"! THAT is amazing customer service. The black garlic ramen was delicious, as was the miso ramen. The prices were very reasonable, particularly for the quality. We're very much looking forward to going back!
This place is crazy good and super underrated, we had to try the special that they have. They are famous for the tomahawk and ramen special. It is a lot so you can share with a friend. You can get your own ramen and share the steak. I get mine medium rare they cooked it to perfection, juicy and super tasty. Had to try the fried rice and some beef jerky. All good choices they have lots to choose from. The wait staff here are all friendly and very attentive. They check on you and make sure you have everything you need. The place is nicely decorated and very Asian inside. I love the feel of this place. The menu has so many choices and does not disappoint so you might have to come here a few times to explore the entire menu! Check this place out and happy eating!!!
A great find. Very casual, friendly ramen/Japanese/thai fusion restaurant with their famous ramen flight and tomahawk steak special. Second floor - park on the second level (entrance to the right of the main parking lot entrance; one past the main entrance if you are coming from the Strip). I had the Yohama So-I (Thai curry chicken) ramen (really good). Family members had the gyoza (authentic), cucumber salad (nice, fresh, sweet with some jalapeño spice), and kimchi fried rice. For vegans - the Spicy Creamy Vegan soup was the winner! Server was warm and welcoming. Nicely crowded for a Saturday evening. No wait at 6:15 pm; brief wait by 7 pm. Highly recommend!
This place hit the spot after a long travel from the Bay Area ! Considering it opens late and everything was so flavorful . Definitely can share with 2-3 ppl . I love a place that can top it off side yummy dessert too . Loved the quick service considering we were a large table .
Ramen was great and our server Mue was outstanding! Didn't get a pic of Ramen, couldn't wait to dive in, Nowhere near our normal side of town but worth the Friday night traffic.
The food is wonderful as the service. The ambiance is also fantastic. The owner is wonderful

Don't underestimate the spice here!! Very very spicy. If you like spice, be ready with ice water to cool down the heat! Lol Wide variety of options from Thai food to Japanese curry to ramen! AMAZING food and service! read more
Yohama Noodles is on the second floor of the shopping center with SF Super. We parked in the back on the second floor, so we entered from that side. (This is helpful to know if you don't want to walk up the stairs.) It was pretty empty on a Saturday evening, and this restaurant does occupy a decent size space. I would say this is a Japanese ramen restaurant with some Thai influences. They are known for their Yohama Flight which I did see the nearby table order. We ordered: * Pad See Ew with Fried Tofu $19 - This was good. I added their housemate chili crisp and it's super spicy! * Combo Beef Noodle Soup $22 - The Husband ordered this dish and really enjoyed the flavor of his. * Black Garlic Ramen with Beef $18 - The Little Guy ordered this one and there weren't any leftovers, so that's always a good sign. Service was great. Our water glasses were never empty, which I appreciated. They had a few other parties arrive while we were there, so they do get customers. Overall, Yohama Noodles is a decent choice. Their tomahawk ramen is something to consider as the pictures look very exciting. read more

We walked in about 7:30 on a Friday night and were expecting a wait but there wasn't one. We were seated immediately. The place was relatively quiet and the servers were friendly and knowledgeable. We looked over the menu for a while. So many options. I had come for the ramen flight and that's what I got. We ordered a few appetizers, the wings, gyoza and the furikake fries. All were good. My favorite of the three was the gyoza. The others were picked by my eating companions. I was excited when they walked up with my ramen flight. So many types I hadn't tried before. I loved the two creamy broth options. I shared it with my son and he enjoyed the other two better so it really worked out for us. There was still some of 3 of the 4 that got lids and came home with us. (They were even good warmed up the next day.) I would for sure return next time. I think if you're not sure about what ramen to get this is a great way to try something you may not otherwise get. I know I found a couple new options that I really liked. read more

Craving something warm, flavourful, filling, healthy, and spicy? Get the Creamy Spicy Vegan Noodle Soup! Or the Beef Miso, my son gave it a 10 out of 10! We had dinner at Yohama Noodles, we ordered the Furikake French Fries, and the Karaage Chicken to start. The restaurant is small, cute and very clean. I love their dancing lights which twinkle with the beat of the music. Very cool! The staff was very friendly, prompt and helpful! I didn't want my spicy soup too spicy, so they recommended to provide the chilly oil on the side. It worked out great! read more

The first time I went here, I tried some of their appetizers--soft shell crab which came came with a spicy sauce, whole squid, calamari, shrimp tempura, and Takoyaki. I did enjoy the grilled squid and soft shell crab. The rest were just okay. The service was a bit much, though. Our server came to our table like 6 or 7 times. She asked if we were ok, we said yes, then came back just a minute later to ask again. She kept checking in to see if were still working on our food. We started wondering if there was a time limit or something. It got a little uncomfortable so we decided to leave after just an hour. I wasn't able to try their noodles during my first visit, so I went back a few weeks later to try the Yohama Creamy Chicken noodles. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I couldn't finish it and didn't bother taking the leftovers. The flavor just didn't hit the mark for me. My friend ordered the Black Garlic noodle, and that was really good. Overall, this place didn't quite meet my expectations. read more

Our first time here and we've decided that this will be our go to ramen spot. The pork with black garlic was so good that my wife decided to eat mine and gave me her combo beef noodle which was excellent also. The pork with black garlic is our favorite but looking at the table next to us the ramen flight will definitely be our next choice. Great service and atmosphere and mazing food! read more

I enjoyed this place. We were starving and usually go to sushi Neko downstairs but the wait was way too long and I decided we should give this place a shot after seeing the tomahawk special on TikTok. Our server was so sweet and we were able to seat immediately as a walk in. The place was cozy and had other people there dining as well. We both ordered the passionfruit iced tea. I ordered the steak with a side of rice and my boyfriend got the shrimp ramen. I enjoyed both. We finished with dessert and decided that this place deserves some more recognition. Definitely give it a shot read more

Bomb dot com! Been living in Vegas for a little over a year now! Why haven't I eaten ramen during the fall/winter weather? lol! My family was craving for ramen during this summer heat but it's okay cause the ramen I chose was BOMB! Kind of reminds of a ramen spot I used to love back in Hawaii. Came back again with another family all the way from VA. Another person we have brought here who was impressed with the quality & taste of the food here. We tried new dishes & ordered some favorites. Get a group of friends and order Ramen Flights! I have been here a couple times with my husband and a friend. We didn't order ramen flights till this time that I had 4 other girl friends with me. A must try. We ordered a couple appetizers and omg too much food for 5 of us. I personally love creamy ramen the most but every single bowl was yummy. The servers are super friendly. We met the owner and she is so sweet. I recommend this place. They open late night as well. After party ramen? Yassss! read more

Service was amazing here! We came on a Friday night and there was no wait time. The food was amazing and the service was top tier! We loved everything we ordered. The ramen was so yummy. They gave lots of noodles and meat. The gyoza was soft and filled with lots of meat. The green tea was smooth. I can't wait to come back. I went here on Christmas day to try their tomahawk steak as its been on instagram and is only $99 for the steak and two bowls of ramen. I also ordered a few appetizers to try, the softshell crab and takoyaki. Takoyaki tasted very raw inside. More than other places ive had it at in the past. They only put 1 tiny piece of octopus in each ball so I felt like it was a rip off for $9. You're just paying for dough balls basically. Softshell crab was ok. It could be much better with a tempura batter rather than the crumb based coating they used. I found it lacking in flavor overall. The two bowls of ramen with the steak were ok. The black garlic broth was the winner. The beef broth tasted almost like it had beer or something weird in it. These are also super filling so unless you are able to eat a lot I would not order this again as a single person. The tomahawk was not great. I asked for medium cook on mine. It came out extremely rare inside. They precut it and you could tell they baked it or something as the inside looked fully cooked until you actually tried to eat them. I was just chewing raw meat essentially. They did take it back and cook it more in the oven. That helped but there was still too much straight up rawness inside for my liking and so much fat on this particular steak compared to other spots. Steak has no seasoning at all. It desperately needs salt at the minimum. While it does come with a sprig of rosemary, it was not used to flavor the steak at all. I agree with other reviews that whoever is cooking these is not super experienced at them. I ate only around 20% of it and took the rest home for the dogs. I would suggest somewhere else if you want a better quality tomahawk steak. Overall I probably would not return here. Nothing was terrible persay but nothing was great or stood out either. Service was very attentive but it was also pretty dead being that I went on Christmas day. read more

Another great find in Chinatown! We had a late night dinner at Yohama and truly enjoyed it. Our server was very polite and attentive, especially to ensure our waters remained full. The atmosphere was decent; nice and clean, but not spectacularly decorated like some other small restaurants in the area. We started off with an order of Gyoza which had a good flavor and was jam packed with meat. For entrees, I opted for the Chicken Katsu Bowl - The chicken was perfectly crispy with a great flavor and I liked having some crisp veggies on the side. My husband had the Tender Beef Bowl, which also was incredibly flavorful. We ended with Yuzu Sherbet; so refreshing with a subtle sweetness. We greatly enjoyed all of our food as well as the service, although I feel it was just a tad pricey in comparison with similar restaurants in the area. read more

Absolute FIYAHHHHH!!!! Do not walk.... Run to Yohama Noodles! I'm a foodie guy from Southern Utah and drove 2 hours to eat here and it was beyond worth it!
