Second floor - park on the second level (entrance to the right of the main parking lot entrance; one past the main entrance if you are coming from the Strip). I had the Yohama So-I (Thai curry chicken) ramen (really good). Family members had the gyoza (authentic), cucumber salad (nice, fresh, sweet with some jalapeño spice), and kimchi fried rice. Yohama Noodles is on the second floor of the shopping center with SF Super. We parked in the back on the second floor, so we entered from that side. (This is helpful to know if you don't want to walk up the stairs.) It was pretty empty on a Saturday evening, and this restaurant does occupy a decent size space. I would say this is a Japanese ramen restaurant with some Thai influences. They are known for their Yohama Flight which I did see the nearby table order. We ordered: * Pad See Ew with Fried Tofu $19 - This was good. I added their housemate chili crisp and it's super spicy! * Combo Beef Noodle Soup $22 - The Husband ordered this dish and really enjoyed the flavor of his. * Black Garlic Ramen with Beef $18 - The Little Guy ordered this one and there weren't any leftovers, so that's always a good sign. Service was great. Our water glasses were never empty, which I appreciated. They had a few other parties arrive while we were there, so they do get customers. We walked in about 7:30 on a Friday night and were expecting a wait but there wasn't one. We were seated immediately. The place was relatively quiet and the servers were friendly and knowledgeable. We looked over the menu for a while. So many options. I had come for the ramen flight and that's what I got. We ordered a few appetizers, the wings, gyoza and the furikake fries. All were good. My favorite of the three was the gyoza. The others were picked by my eating companions. I was excited when they walked up with my ramen flight. So many types I hadn't tried before. I loved the two creamy broth options. I shared it with my son and he enjoyed the other two better so it really worked out for us. There was still some of 3 of the 4 that got lids and came home with us. (They were even good warmed up the next day.) I would for sure return next time. Whether that's exactly what's served or just how it was presented in the photo, the advertising didn't match our expectations, and we ultimately decided to skip the flight altogether. I want to give proper respect to Yokohama Noodles because I have been coming here even before, and it still hits every time. The signature chicken miso soup is amazing!! The flavor is so good on its own that you really do not need to add any extra chili, in my opinion. We also got the beef combo soup, and it was fire. It kind of reminded me of pho, but with a completely different palate and flavor profile. It was super comforting and really well done. I have had the tomahawk steak here before as well, and it is genuinely out of this world. My brother's been wanting to go here for awhile now. Every time he sends me the link I'm skeptical, looking at all the cup o noodle pics. Seems like a novelty place rather than a legit authentic spot. But he always reminds me it's the tomahawk ribeye ramen he wants. So who can say no to that? We had a chicken Karrage app, spicy edamame, couple rice bowls, and a tomahawk ribeye ramen with black garlic broth and "spicy" for the other which was basically curry. Pretty much every dish we got was mid, not memorable. Nothing crave worthy and nothing worth all the hype as far as I'm concerned. The table was very small for 4 people with all these dishes, and then trying to share ramen. We had to ask for small bowls to share, more napkins, forks, lemon, etc. The supposed star of the show was quite a disappointment. I wasn't the one paying but it was $100 and it was so fatty and sinewy, difficult to cut, which sort of kills your appetite. The good pieces were really good, great char flavor. But they were far and few between, felt like 30% of the steak to where you felt bad to take a good piece and needed to sacrifice them for the other guests. To make matters worse, they give you 2 knives for 4 people, so then we had to ask for yet something else, and they're very cheap steak knives that barely cut through the sinewy, fatty steak. The servers were very friendly but they didn't elevate or authenticate an otherwise very awkward, uncomfortable dining experience, combined with very average food. There's probably over 100 restaurants in Chinatown that I may never be able to experience all but want to. So with that in mind, I could certainly never justify going back here. We saw Yohama Noodles' instagram post about their Yohama Flight and had to check it out during our trip. The restaurant is located in the heart of Chinatown in Vegas. It's very casual dining and opened late for those who get the late night munchies. Yohama Flight is a tasting menu of 4 different ramens and meat toppings. Normally it's chicken katsu, chicken wings, steak, soft crab and shrimp but given some food preferences in our group, they substituted the seafood options. The Flight is $59 but enough food for 2-3 people. You will not leave hungry! It was nice to try different ramen flavors. Their menu includes various noodles soups, rice bowls, and appetizers. You can get your own ramen and share the steak. I get mine medium rare they cooked it to perfection, juicy and super tasty. Had to try the fried rice and some beef jerky. All good choices they have lots to choose from. The wait staff here are all friendly and very attentive. They check on you and make sure you have everything you need. I did enjoy the grilled squid and soft shell crab. The rest were just okay. The service was a bit much, though. Our server came to our table like 6 or 7 times. She asked if we were ok, we said yes, then came back just a minute later to ask again. She kept checking in to see if were still working on our food. We started wondering if there was a time limit or something. It got a little uncomfortable so we decided to leave after just an hour. I wasn't able to try their noodles during my first visit, so I went back a few weeks later to try the Yohama Creamy Chicken noodles. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I really LOVE this place! Yes, we got the flight. How could we not. The entire flight was an experience and it's definitely something I'm glad I did. It was fun sharing it with my family of 4. We came in for the unique ramen flight and were not disappointed. Our family's overall favorite of the four in the flight was the So-I broth, which was a thick and creamy coconut curry. If you love a good Thai khao soi then you'll love this! I did love this one but it was a little on the spicy side for me so my personal favorite was the black garlic broth, which I was glad that we had a full bowl of with the pork chasu because it was rich and creamy and the pork was tender and flavorful. We also tried the takoyaki, karaage and kimchi fried rice, which were all good but not as special as the ramen. I went here on Christmas day to try their tomahawk steak as its been on instagram and is only $99 for the steak and two bowls of ramen. I also ordered a few appetizers to try, the softshell crab and takoyaki. Takoyaki tasted very raw inside. More than other places ive had it at in the past. They only put 1 tiny piece of octopus in each ball so I felt like it was a rip off for $9. You're just paying for dough balls basically. Softshell crab was ok. It could be much better with a tempura batter rather than the crumb based coating they used. I found it lacking in flavor overall. The two bowls of ramen with the steak were ok. The black garlic broth was the winner. The beef broth tasted almost like it had beer or something weird in it. These are also super filling so unless you are able to eat a lot I would not order this again as a single person. The tomahawk was not great. I asked for medium cook on mine. It came out extremely rare inside. They precut it and you could tell they baked it or something as the inside looked fully cooked until you actually tried to eat them. I was just chewing raw meat essentially. They did take it back and cook it more in the oven. That helped but there was still too much straight up rawness inside for my liking and so much fat on this particular steak compared to other spots. Steak has no seasoning at all. It desperately needs salt at the minimum. While it does come with a sprig of rosemary, it was not used to flavor the steak at all. I agree with other reviews that whoever is cooking these is not super experienced at them. I ate only around 20% of it and took the rest home for the dogs. I would suggest somewhere else if you want a better quality tomahawk steak. Overall I probably would not return here. Nothing was terrible persay but nothing was great or stood out either. Another great find in Chinatown! We had a late night dinner at Yohama and truly enjoyed it. Our server was very polite and attentive, especially to ensure our waters remained full. The atmosphere was decent; nice and clean, but not spectacularly decorated like some other small restaurants in the area. We started off with an order of Gyoza which had a good flavor and was jam packed with meat. For entrees, I opted for the Chicken Katsu Bowl - The chicken was perfectly crispy with a great flavor and I liked having some crisp veggies on the side. My husband had the Tender Beef Bowl, which also was incredibly flavorful. We ended with Yuzu Sherbet; so refreshing with a subtle sweetness.
