Once we sat down we ordered, Green Tea, Thai Tea, beef salad, pineapple curry and for dessert mango sticky rise. The beef salad probably bring the best Thai salad I've ever had, though I do think it could have more meat, the dressing was absolutely delicious. Tasted fresh! The drinks were just amazing especially the green tea which is mildly sweet but balanced. The pineapple curry was delicious as well, but didn't have as much curry curry as we would have wanted. Finally tried this place after having it booked marked for a while. I was craving seafood and green curry so it only made sense to pay a first time visit! We came toward the end of the night with maybe 45 mins left before closing. Unfortunately, they were out of the soft shell crab so they offered to make the curry with Dungeness crab instead. Bet. It was a 4 out of 5 for me! Very good but I wish it had more fish sauce to balance the curry and coconut milk. Either way, it was a solid choice. The ribeye panang was a 3 out of 5. The meat wasn't tender and hard to chew. But the curry was really good! I don't eat pork so I can't speak much about the pork jerky. However, my husband said it was a solid 3 out of 5. My husband found this restaurant on Google, and we're so glad he did! We made a reservation for four about an hour in advance. It's located in a small business complex right next to the busy Shanghai Plaza, so parking was a bit tight on the street. Immediately when we walked in we were greeted by the enticing aromas. After being seated in the main dining area we reviewed the menu, which has a good variety but definitely a bit higher priced than other Thai spots. There were quite a few other tables of diners, but it was relatively quiet. We ordered the Pad Prik King, Garlic Pepper and Thai Fried Rice, all with chicken. The first two dishes were at a spice level 4 (out of 5), no spice on the fried rice as it was mainly for a child in our party. The food was ready within 10 minutes and was plated well. For the price, the portions were smaller than other restaurants. The flavors were really good though. Although the Pad Prik King lacked that flavor punch from the kefir lime leaves, I really had to search for it. Spice wise, the 4 was a little warm but I could have definitely handled a 5. Our meal was phenomenal. My family said it reminded them of Thailand when they took their first sip of the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Every single dish we had tasted amazing. My only complaint would be our waiter not informing us of the level of spice in our papaya salad. When the papaya came out, it had no spiciness to it, however we requested more chili paste. If you're in Vegas, this place is a must. Most restaurants are worth going off the strip for and this is one of them. Give or take 10 minutes just off the strip. We didn't get a chance to visit the last as there was so many concert going on the strip and traffic was a bitch. Monday night thinking that it'll be pretty easy to get a table. Famous last word as it was BUSY. There's a good amount of parking in the lot. That strip mall looks a bit deceiving as all the front doors are covered up and looks closed. Guess that's for the heat. Anyway, when we arrived there was about 8 people in line. There's no one there to mentioned to put your name on the list which was there. That shows how busy it was. Everyone working was trying to accommodate everyone. Even putting our name down for 3 people, it was about a 45 minute wait for a Monday early evening. There was a 2 big group that's probably why tables were being utilized. After they finished, it did move more smoothly with seating people. But there was about 20 people that was waiting around for their name to be called. I think about 8 did end up just leaving as it was quite a wait. Anyway, after we finally got seated, they did upgrade their menu. Food, pretty much everything you would expect at a Thai restaurant. Loads of options to choose from. Even with it being packed, the ladies were all very sweet taking care of everyone. Not a Thai tea lover as I don't like having anything sweet to drink so went with a regular ice tea, plain. Food, you have to have the papaya salad. They have both the classic Thai style and Laos style. Slightly different just with the fermented fish sauce. We added shrimp to it. They have a spice level from 1-5. We went with 3 but when we received it, it wasn't too spicy. Still delicious and a good portion with loads of shrimp. Entrees, the pork belly curry which was a first time trying. The curry was very flavorful and delicious and topped it off with fried pork belly. The crunchiness soaking up the curry was perfect with the steamed rice. Also the duo of pork belly and bbq pork with rice dish. Simple yet so good with the sweet and spicy dipping sauce with cucumber and hard boil egg. Lastly, the boat noodles. Anywhere that offers it I'm going to try. And I've had some bad dishes. This on the other hand, amazing. The broth was nice and thick. Served with loads of meat and Chinese broccoli. Accompanied by bean sprouts, Thai basil and dried pork skin. It was amazing and very filling. The food is alway delicious and very flavorful. It does get busy which means sometimes for them. Sometimes you want to gate keep, but it's also nice to share. I dined here earlier this week with a party of 10. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. There's a sign near their pay window that says that they're 'not a fast food restaurant so please be patient' and I thought that was so cheeky. No one in my family had an issue with the wait time and the service was excellent. I really like when restaurants monitor glasses of water and make sure they are filled so that was a plus. I had to dock a star because the drunken noodles were not good! And Level 4 out of 5 spicy was not spicy at all! Just extremely salty. I don't know what they put in there... it was an adapted recipe to accommodate my gluten allergy. My partner is from Thailand and was so impressed by the spicy catfish batter and how the yentafo tasted pretty similar to what they had back in Thailand. They sprinkled nuts over the coconut ice cream, and with the sticky rice on top of the bun, the taste and texture of everything surprisingly worked well.
