My goodness how lucky are we that this is now our local pizza joint? Gianorios is pure perfection. Their food is so incredibly fresh and delicious. We've gotten pick up now a few times and they are just so consistent with the quality. Today we ordered a large regular thin crust with green peppers and onions, a slice of their homemade carrot cake, and the best garden salad. They have so many crust options! The regular thin is definitely thicker for what might be considered thin, but they also offer extra thin an ultra thin. We haven't tried anything else yet besides their regular thin because we enjoy that so much lol. I know we will eventually get to trying all the crusts. They also offer pan and stuffed pizzas! Their sauce is delicious and the cheese and veggies are always fresh and perfect. Such a solid Za here at Gianorios! Onto their garden salad - we get this every time. IT'S SO GOOD!!!! The veggies are so incredibly fresh and crisp and their ranch is some of the best I've had. It's also HUGE! Their carrot cake...omg. This thing is made with love. I love how they add both raisins and nuts in it. The cream cheese frosting was perfection. So far, this is the best carrot cake I've had from a restaurant ever. The service is always friendly and the turn around time on making food is fast. They only offer carry out - no delivery which is ay ok to me! I seriously just love this place!!!

We have been ordering from Gianorios for years and in my opinion it is by far the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered 3 large pizzas for a gathering of 15 and had leftovers for the next day. The pizzas are round and cut in squares as it should be. Can't wait for our next visit for this pizza. Forget all the deep dish pizzas, order this now if in the area.

Tried this during my recent visit to Chicago. It was expensive but totally worth it. We were 4 people and we order large pizza which was enough for all of us. So in that way it's not expensive at all. I wish we have same place like this close to Indianapolis . Service was great and I guess they are in business for last 35 years, so no need to say more. Would love to try that again. Thanks! read more

We recently moved to Winfield and are so happy to have found a great pizza place a few minutes from home. Their pizza is wonderful, it's always hot when I pick it up & the sausage is really good. Their garlic bread with cheese is also very good as well & the desserts are great too. read more

Great pizza, and great cupcakes (red velvet, wow). If crust is important to you, note that regular thin crust here is like thick crust elsewhere, so if you like it thin, order the extra thin crust. I prefer to be filled up by ingredients, not crust. But again, great pizza, with a lot of ingredients! I have to admit that I prefer Nancy's in Wheaton, but, if we needed desserts with our pizza, I would get a pizza here just to get their desserts (which I'm sure sell out quickly). Oh, and someone mentioned that this place is pricey, and I did NOT find that to be true, in fact, I think they're cheaper than Nancy's. read more

My uncle talked highly of this pizza place(Lombard location) so my husband and i decided to give it a try in Winfield. We ordered a medium extra thin crust cheese pizza, small extra thin crust bbq chicken, cheesy garlic bread and their brownie cheese cake. The cheesy garlic bread was perfect and tasted great as did the cheese cake. The pizza was disappointing. The extra thin crust was just thin crust and it was borderline soggy. I believe it had way to much cheese and the water didn't allow the dough to cook properly. Judging by how busy it was today, i'm sure their ovens were hot so i don't think that was it. The soggy~ness was the equivalent to reheating pizza in the microwave the following day. The crust did have some crunch to it but nothing like what we were expecting (an extra thin crunch tastic pizza). I will give this place another try maybe during the week. I understand some days get crazy hectic. If all else fails will enjoy the garlic bread and cheese cakes! read more

I used to like their pizza, but the last two I've ordered have been really substandard at best. The crust is under cooked and almost soggy. Hugely disappointing. Too much cheese and no flavor in the sauce. I don't know if something has changed or I was just there on a bad day. Both were on Sundays. I can no longer recommend this place. read more

A quiet little tablecloth Italian place with a few outside tables and views of both the railroad crossing and firehouse. We had the thin crust pizza which had a tasty cracker crust topped with tangy, sweet sauce and quality cheese. It was delicious and one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. read more

Best pizza place ever! Pan pizza is all I get, but I wouldn't get it anywhere else. The sauce is sweet/savory. The cheese is melty/buttery. The crust is doughy and wonderful! The owners are awesome people!! Only thing, I wish they were open more often...but even perfection needs sleep. read more

This has been our go-to pizza place for a couple of years now. We wander away on occasion but always come back and wonder why we ever tried anywhere else. They can miss sometimes. I swear it's when Mama is not in the kitchen. Tonight we had the classic and a cheese and sausage and Mama was in house. It was just as five stars says: as good as it gets. The sauce has flavor. The dough is not too thin, not too thick, the toppings are generous and seasoned nicely. Only problem is the long wait on Friday nights. Always think we are going to order early but somehow don't. read more

Great pizza. I knew the first time I got a pizza here just by picking up the box I could tell just by how heavy it was that it would be great. The staff is also great and friendly. Being from the south side of Chicago I know good pizza and this is as close to Chicago style pizza you are going to get in the burbs.The only bad thing is the hours. They close early and closed on Monday's and Tuesday's. read more

The pizza here was amazing. My husband and I went here for lunch, we are pretty big eaters, but the pizza's here were very fulfilling. We were able to order a small pizza with 3 toppings to split and still had plenty left for 2 more times of left overs! The service was great. The total bill was pricey but way worth it! read more

I don't know what it is about their crab Rangoon's however I feel like they're almost very bland and you can't really taste the flavor of crab Rangoon, which is why I gave that rating. 5/5 stars: Chicken Pad See Eiw- absolutely love this dish it's full of flavor, veggies and protein. 5/5 stars: Chicken Penang Curry- it's one of the most underrated Currys, but it's very good a little sweet a little hot. Served with white rice it's definitely a good try. What I love about this place is I've asked for a higher spice level and they have delivered! I cannot wait to try more items from this restaurant and I will report back hopefully.

Gianorio's was always our pizza of choice, until the lockdown. Then they decided that masks were not something they wanted to have their employees wear while making the pizzas. They also seem to have some interesting views on the whole Covid situation and the recent issues at the Capitol, and the past administration. I don't agree with their stance, mostly on the mask issue, but it is their right to hold that viewpoint. Since March, we have stopped visiting them, and have decided to opt for Lou Malnati's on Geneva road. They are following mask protocols and curbside pickup is excellent. So, we are both making a stand according to our own views, and that's what makes America great. read more

This is absolutely my favorite pizza place in the world! I love their sauce, dough, cheese, EVERYTHING! The family also owns a deli down the street that is great! But back to the pizza. The pizza is made in an area that you can see when you walk into the store. It's nice to see their little assembly line. If you are in Winfield and miss Gianorios, you'll be sorry! read more
