Hello Everyone, My experience dealing with Giant RV in Colton was pretty positive. I did my research on RV's before I bought one so I knew what I was getting myself into to specially being our first RV. The whole process of buying the RV was pretty smooth from viewing, financing and delivery. I did get a chance to go over the RV before I took it home to make sure everything worked. We have since taken it out for our first camping trip to test everything out and everything went good no issues at all, only regret was that I should I got a bigger travel trailer. Just in case your curious we purchased the 2024 Winnebago Access 26BH. One comment I would like to add, if your expecting things to be perfect and your not handy with fixing little things I honestly would not buy one.

2024 Alliance paradigm 395ds fifth wheel trailer
Michael R.

The service department is a joke. If I could give the sales team and finance team a 5 stars I would. Purchased late September early October of 2024 My experience here was great at first when coming to look at fifth wheel rv's. Sale team and finance were great. We loved the Alliance Paradigm 395ds model and made our purchase. A few small details inside and out of the Rv such as damaged paint on the door and moldings inside the Rv along with a broken screw head on one of the slide outs. We stated we wanted those things fixed prior to us picking the Rv up and was told it would be taken care of. Sure enough that didn't happen. We then picked up the Rv and noticed they weren't after being promised they would. Being aesthetic we were told to bring it back for service to get that repaired anytime. When we got to the site of where the Rv would stay we took a look inside and started to clean. Then noticed the bathroom in the back was used and what seemed to be someone's throw up or #2 was partially left in there. So much for cleaning the Rv before you pickup.. Fast forward to setting the trailer up at our site, we noticed 4 water leaks.. 2 months in. Those were our main concerns along side 10+ other issues. Fast forward to February 1st when we decided to bring it in for the concerns mentioned. We dropped it off and they had it for a month and a half. They claimed to fix all the concerns and were not able to duplicate some and 1 of the leaks even though we have multiple videos of it actively leaking. Upon picking up I was reassured that all the concerns for the exception of those with parts not in stock were fixed. Aside of that the outside paint of the coach on the slide out was damaged while they repaired it, and the inside of the Rv filthy. Now (03/22/25) exactly a week from when I picked it up (03/15/25) we are back to square one trying to get the Rv BACK INTO the service department for the same MAIN Concern of why it was dropped of to begin with. I drove to Giant RV in Colton before they close at 5pm on Saturday as I was informed over the phone not being advise that they do not take service drop off past 1pm without appointments. I pulled into the drive 10 minutes before closing and was not greeted upon walking in by any one of the 3-5 people in there. The woman (Laura) who was the first to respond to my request of dropping off my Rv was with a "Nope, can't take it in and won't take it in." We are closing at 5 and we are ready to leave.... After trying to get her to understand the situation of being it back just 5 days after it was "repair" by them she then kept speaking very rudely with no manners or customer service etiquette, and no drive to help the customer out. She was rather more focused on her clocking out and leaving for the day. I then proceeded to ask if there was anyone else that I could speak to for some help. Then she mentioned somebody's name and said he would be right out. I could then hear Jerry I believe his name is on the phone with his boss, which is Tom the service manager. The manager's response over the phone was absolutely not and that I would have to take the RV back and there's nothing he could do for me. Given the situation, explain the situation to the service manager. There is no change in action no willingness to help and was just brushed off by the servicing, which had no authority over what their manager said. Overall, this dealership or even chain of RV dealerships do not care about you as a customer after you make their purchase with them. It has been an absolute nightmare, trying to deal with these people and would not recommend any friend or family or anybody that can read this to purchase an RV from Giant Rv specifically Colton for the simple reason that there is no help towards the customer or any customer service in general. And just to make things clear this is not reflecting upon the sales team and only the service department.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for everything! Mainly this review is for Devan. If it wasn't for Devan, none of this would be possible, and we wouldn't be getting the trailer we wanted. This is our very first travel trailer. My wife and I have been tent camping and backpacking for 2 decades. Finally last year my wife said, "I'm ready for an upgrade", and I agreed. It took us 6 months to find exactly what we were looking for, and it was just coming into the camping season. NO one was willing to accommodate us to keep us within our budget. It was not looking hopeful at all. On a whim, my wife stumbled across an ad from Giant RV posted(479 miles south from us). Then she met Devan. Devan was our knight in shining armor. He was very accommodating and polite to my wife. He kept us within our budget. It happened so fast, I couldn't believe it! My wife said, "I'm puting down $1000 deposit over the phone!" We own a small independent motorcycle service/ repair shop in Santa Rosa, CA. My wife handles all the logistics and the consignment sales. She is no stranger to this industry. Devan was a true gentleman. Thank you sir for making our dream come true and treating my wife with respect. We do a LOT of off grid camping and the Sun Lite Sport is exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for an honest, fair RV/trailer representative, talk to Devan. Giant RV had a beautiful facility. You walk into this establishment, and everyone is extremely friendly. The women at the reception desk were very helpful. Steven, the gentleman that gives you the walk around, is very thorough and knowledgeable. The finance department, Marciel and Cece, were very witty and comical. Keeping the mood very light while signing paper work, especially after a 9 hour journey. We got our new trailer home safe and sound. We drove about 1000 miles to be treated fairly and find what we were looking for, but it was totally worth the journey. Thank you thank you Devan for making this happen for us. -Chris

We came in looking for our first trailer but we didn't have an appointment. That was not a problem for the team here at the Giant Rv! They attended us right away and showed me a trailer that fit our needs. The whole process was streamlined and everyone was very helpful. The team here is very down to earth and I was pleased with all the help during my pick up. We highly recommend this location!!!

Thank you to Bill, Brian and the Giant RV Team in Colton! Thank you for providing us a wonderful experience as new Class B Camper van owners! Their commitment to customer service is evident from the moment you step inside. They answered all of our questions, and we had plenty! Thank you for making our experience a great one, we had fun & learned a ton. Thanks again!

I called Keystone RV and they referred me to Tredit Tire. Called them and they referred me to manufacturer, who I have called 3 times and LVM... no return call in a week... every time I leave and return from camping i inspect tires... seems pretty crappy everyone keeps pushing it off to someone else...

I wish I would have read these reviews before going to this place. We purchased a 2020 forest river toy hauler, first time out things started falling apart, back splash, framing, moldings, plug outlets, the list goes on. I know giant RV doesn't personally build these Rv s BUT they do the servicing and WE paid for the warranty, that being said it's a complete shit show trying to get them to fix anything, first time we took it in they had it for a month and very little got fixed, the second time we dropped it off, they gave us a quote of $10,485 to fix a water leak, parts were $205, $10,280 was LABOR. Are you serious. What kind of crook shit is that. They wanted us to go through our insurance so they could get the pay day cause of course they blamed us for the water damage and it's not "covered" under warranty. That being said this place is not it. Steer clear of these scammers.

I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

Unfortunately, I had to take it back over five times to fix the same things. Not to mention the damage created by the things not being fixed properly. The first time was not repaired properly. Richardsons Fix the way do business…read more I bought a used 2018 TT & an extended warranty from Richardsons in late 2021 took it out for the 1st trip 3 months later. Toilet flushed once then water pressure to toilet was gone. I take my Trailer in for the issue toilet won't fill properly due to low water pressure to toilet only. Kitchen, restroom sinks and shower all have good water pressure. I explain how I feel it might be the toilet valve to Guy A as he takes trailer information from me. 1 week later I get a call from Guy A saying I need a new toilet that run $700 and the warranty don't cover it. I lose my cool explain how it's BS. I just got the trailer from them, I asked don't you guys check the trailers before you sell them some kind of point inspection. The toilet worked for 1 fill then pressure was lost. He apologizes and says he understands I should had been able to use it more... I feel bad so I go into the office apologize to Guy A for losing my cool I understand it's not his fault. He seems to accept my apology so I ask him to help me understand the issues. I ask various questions when Guy B jumps in and says there's build up, could be from city or camp site having poor water and or hard water. I explain I understand, but that build up normally don't happen from 1 fish to the other it takes time. Mean while Guy A went back to speak with the service tech and confirmed that water is flowing to the toilet but then there's build up. I say thank you and say I'm not paying for a toilet. They explain how I'm gonna have to pay $175 for the time spent. I tell them I can't take trailer yet cuz I'm in my car. I return an 45min later with warranty in hand to show that warranty states it covers valves and fittings which I felt is where the issue is. Guy A is on the phone so I'm standing there waiting Guy B asks what I have, I say my warranty showing valves are covered did you guys check the valve? He then replied with yes there is blockage warranty won't cover blockage you need a new toilet if you want it fixed. Guy A gets off the phone and says they were going to let me take my trailer with no charge cuz I didn't sign that section of the paperwork. I say thanks can I pick it up tomorrow. I pick up trailer the next day take it home and in 20 min I have the toilet removed and bypassed the valve and toilet works fine. What really gets me is that there was no attempt to fix my toilet just sell me a new one. Not even a $175 per hour charge and a $30 valve was offered just a $700 new toilet. I really hope that Richardsons as a company can fix how they do business cuz I'm only 2 min away and hope that when I run into a problem outta my capabilities they don't try and take advantage of me again. I spoke with Brad I believe. He was helpful in getting me info. Not sure who serviced the toilet or who told him I needed a new one. Not sure who the guy sitting next to him that said if I wanted it fixed I needed a new toilet was ether. Toilet is working fine now that I fixed it myself so no matter what they say I didn't need a new one.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, I drove from Fontana to Colton to see about a problem with my Blue…read moreOx/Patriot braking system in my car because, when towing behind my motorhome, the car batteries kept overcharging causing me to get a new car battery nearly every year since I've had the RV. My appt was made for Thursday, May 21 at 9 am. I was specific about what I wanted: To know if it was wired correctly because a jeep dealership said they had "never seen a battery wired like that". This request shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to complete: You open the hood, look at the wiring and say "yes" or "no" if it looks normal to you and then close the hood so I could be on my way. That's all I asked for. Period. It's even written on my invoice. On Thursday, May 21st, I arrived (again, from Fontana) about 10 minutes before 9. I went to the service dept to check in and the man who made this appt on Tuesday, claims it wasn't in the system. Hmm.... My car was taken in at 9:11 am. At 10:14 am, the service dept guy and the tech who was going to check out my car battery hookup. I explain to the tech what's been happening etc... he says "ok". They go off..... I guess it was a few minutes after noon when I went up to the desk to inquire why it's taking so long. The service guy who was handling my visit was at lunch and another guy said he'd pass the message on when my service guy got back from lunch. Ok.... I went back to sit down. Shortly thereafter, my service guy said "they are still working on it". Now I'm thinking... is the tech blind? He can't see where the wires are and if it looks normal or not? That's all I asked for. At about 1:20 or so I went back up to the desk to let the service guy know I'm diabetic and I'm starting to crash and I need my car to go get food; I left my supplies back in Fontana because I didn't know the tech was so inept it would take 4+ HOURS to VISUALLY INSPECT a couple wires on my car battery. At 1:27 the service guy comes to tell me that the tech is "wrapping up" and then I was forced to pay $225 for no specific answer other than something to the effect of "we can wire it to isolate your battery and you'd get power for the lights from the RV" which is exactly what IT ALREADY DOES since I installed a battery shut off switch. The problem is having the battery shut off switch removes some of the drivable things my car does that I WANT to use... like the auto shut off at stops, etc. He's telling me I would need to leave the shut off valve on there.... which I want to remove. What he said they could do, is exactly what the whole system I have is already doing. I learned NOTHING and was never told at all if my battery is wired correctly or not. NOTHING I didn't already know. They brought my car out at 1:43 pm.... and guess what? it's like an oven in there! It was 88 degrees out that day and my car is so hot I burned my legs on my leather drivers seat when I got in. My question is this: Was that tech working on my car out in the back parking lot???? It took over 15 minutes for my a/c to start making it comfortable inside the car. It's a very well maintained 2020 vehicle with under 45,000 miles on it. The service manager told me I should have been prepared to spend the whole day there.... TO VISUALLY LOOK AT A COUPLE WIRES and tell me if they are correct or not? Do they even know what wires look like?? Seems not if it took that long to do anything. I can do it in under 3 minutes but I don't know what the Patriot wiring looks like or I wouldn't have wasted my time OR money. And then he says "well, the techs have to take lunch...".... was he on lunch for 4 hours????? You took the car in at 9:11, tech came out at 10:14 and his lunch is when? TO LOOK AT WIRES!!!! The incompetence here is staggering unless it is their GOAL to drag out the hours so they can charge you more for it being there. It's one of the two; I see no other options.
