Only bagel I've had in Colorado aside from Big Daddy Bagels in Boulder come close to tasting like a good New York bagel. They had a period where their supplier wasn't bringing them their pizza melts, which is my favorite thing to order. But the Maneger was very polite with me explaining the situation. Have gave this place a chance many times over the last few months and sadly it has always fallen flat, the bagels are almost always lacking in quality from the bagel itself being burnt black or stale tasting. The service isn't great either can be very slow and unsatisfactory. Other gibs such as one of the locations in Fort Collins are a much better option and I would not recommend eating at this location. read more

I got a poppy seed bagel with spinach artichoke cream cheese. The poppy seeds were virtually non existent. The spinach artichoke cream cheese was okay. Overall nothing very impressive about the bagel. I won't be back. One positive was the drive through I will say that. read more

It is pretty ridiculous, but I found a staple in my bagel sandwich, just like an earlier review. They must keep the staples by the food prep area. Sort of funny how incompetent they are. Food quality is very inconsistent, sometimes OK, other times disgusting. Drive through takes FOREVER to get through. High turnover of grumpy employees ensures they never get your order right. I wish someone would open a Einsteins Bagels here to flush this worthless turd. The only thing New York about this place is the employees attitudes. This place is lucky I'm not picky about what kind of bagel I am eating. 90% of the time I order here my bagel is always made wrong. I ask no egg and I get egg, I ask for a toasted plain bagel it's not toasted, I ask for a plain bagel I get some weird spicy one. Once I ordered a ham and pepper jack cheese and got a cranberry cream cheese, another time, same order and it came out with egg, had them remake it and made it with American cheese... I usually order the same thing every time. Toasted plain bagel with ham and pepper jack cheese... I didn't realize that's not easy. They're usually always friendly and very kind, that's why I've never left a review. But this time was my last straw... and trust me you've had plenty. Just slow down on what you're doing. read more

These are not "New York bagels", not by a country mile. I don't know how you think you can just put that on your business name and think us folks from New York aren't going to notice. I got a half dozen bagels yesterday that went stale in about 15 minutes - NY bagels don't do that. Your bagels are small and unseasoned - NY bagels are huge, fresh and covered in seasoning. Don't claim to be something you're not. Oh and this location's customer service needs a LOT of work. I went here a while ago and the bagels were not good but I gave them a pass (everyone has bad days)...turns out they churn out stale, flavorless bagels as their product by choice. My first visit here. Out of the garlic herb cc on a Sunday morning. The kid who took my order was handling the register and money and marking the cups he was writing on to fill coffee orders. Every cup he touched he put his fingers inside the cup while writing on them. Not sure if I will go back again. Save the food, there's little of anything associated with New York I desire to be around. Luckily, the workers here aren't the traditional NY assholes, they're hard-working and serve up good bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast sandwiches were good in quantity and quality. However, the bagels left something to be desired. The blueberry bagels had zero blueberry flavor and only sparse, minced dashes of blueberry pieces. It was essentially a plain bagel with minuscule dots of blue. They gave significantly more cream cheese than places like Panera, etc but was still far from what I found anywhere in NY. It's a decent place for a quick breakfast but I wouldn't be devastated if they packed up and went back to the northeast. read more

So what you are going to get when you come to Gib's is exactly what you'd expect from a drive-thru bagel shop. Do not let the name fool you, as these bagels can't be compared to the style of a real New York bagel. Now, if you want chewy, small, mealy bagels with a bigger-than-normal size bagel hole, than this is your place. The drinks are pretty good if they listen to your order correctly but don't expect anything extravagant from these guys in the morning, as they frequently get the order wrong. It does the job for filling a hole in your stomach if you are in a rush but thats all it does. I recommend the Snickerdoodle Latte. read more

UPDATE: Ok, so we've continued to go to Gibs in Windsor due to my obsession with bagels. We've consistently had great bagels, good and friendly service, and great coffee. I am picky about all of these things and Gibs Windsor does not disappoint. Additionally, I recently traveled to NYC and sought out as many of the highest rated and most recommended bagels in all of the city. I ate the best 5-7 bagels in NY, and Gibs holds their own right with them. Well done Gibs! read more

We have gone here numerous times over the past 2 years and the food is great but yesterday was a disappointment. Looks like they were using a new system and I get that slows things down but after repeating order numerous times it wasn't right. Two bagels toasted one with cream cheese one with butter. Barely any cream cheese on mine the other was just sliced and thrown in bag not wrapped, not toasted and no butter.
