I called Gilbert Pool on Tuesday. The lady who answered the phone said they would be out on Thursday afternoon. I called twice in the afternoon on Thursday but got no response, I left voicemails and still no response. We had used them before for a service repair which was completed. This time not even so much as a return phone call or to call and say the service technician was running late or in this case not coming at all. I don't know how they can stay in business with this type of customer service. I would not recommend them for anything. read more

Gilbert Pool Service performed weekly maintenance on our pool for 4 or 5 years. Don, our pool tech, was always friendly and professional. We trusted Don and provided him with a key to our gate so he could have access to the pool as needed. A couple of weeks ago I noticed Don was a no-show. I reviewed our CCTV and verified the pool was not cleaned. I called the office and left a message. Got no return call. A couple of days later I called again and got no response. about a week after the incident, I sent an online request in their quote request app, and you got it, no response. I understand stuff happens, but you have to lean into these things and at least hear your customer out. Hiding from a customer is never the answer. I was finally able to get someone on the phone who said all of the customers affected received a credit for that week. I would have been perfectly happy with that response had you answered the phone two weeks ago. I have sense cancelled the service and found another company at a lower cost. Hopefully this company will improve their customer service processes/training. read more

Let me tell you. I've had this company for many years and throughout the years the service has been horrible. One time, their pool guy was "brushing" my PEBBLE TECH surface with a net.... like WHY? Use a brush buddy. Another time, they just decided not to come for a whole month, then my pool started turning green. So when I finally got ahold of them (which is really hard to do), I was upset because I know that it requires more chemicals = extra money to make it blue again. Whenever I try to call the office, they never answer. I've been trying to cancel my account with them, but they don't answer their office phone. And now, my current pool guy can't even speak English, so communication with them makes it very hard. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Save your time. Let me spare you. read more

We called to get a quote. The tech that showed up knew all about pools and we were impressed. He gave us an estimate of approx. $8000 to replace equipment to get the pool back into service and had me call the home office. We told the home office that this would be something that we will need to save up in order to do. While on the phone, the tech stripped apart the filters, started cleaning the pool. We were extremely confused as this was an estimate. When my back was turned, this ended up being a $600 service for an estimate. The receipt for the service was a monthly contract at a high priced $170 per month. The contract is for weekly visits for the next 3 months. Still in our infancy on pools, paid the bill and signed the contract. That was the last time we saw anyone. We called several times asking when to expect someone and no answer. After 3 weeks of no one coming and performing our weekly service, we got a new monthly bill. We started the calling again and finally we got someone in the office, and we canceled our contract both verbally and with written notice sent via email demanding confirmation of the cancellation. Starting the 4 week, someone showed up to clean the pool at 7am, after we had cancelled the contract. We asked them to leave before any maintenance was done telling them this has been canceled. Our fear is that this is not over and that we will be fighting this for a while. Side note: we Googled and started learning about pools, maintenance, chemicals, filters, etc.. and the filters the tech had field stripped and put back, they were put back incorrectly - our guess is to cause damage. read more

After years of trying to forget about Gilbert Pool Services, all of a sudden I get a text from the man himself.. Rick. Wow! What is good customer service? Treating customers fair is a start.. I am not always right, nor is the customer. But, everyone screws up, and when you do, fix it! This is not what Rick nor company will do. After a brief period with Gilbert Pools, I had to go start my own business again. Because truly if Rick can have the customers he has with bad service, horrible ethics, a "know it all" mindset, and horrible business practices, then anyone can do it. I wondered what a business would be like if you actually valued the customers that pay your bills. Well, I did it and with 0 advertising, and only word of mouth referrals, my employees and I stay completely booked. I'm growing 200% a year right now. If I could find more like minded employees, I would grow more. Just Google this company - Gilbert Pool Services. Look them up on BBB, read all the 1 star reviews. They are not lies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Gilbert pools acid washed my pool and it left a ton of brown spotting. The owner said it was not worth his time to come check it out. If i took him to the registrar of contractors, then he would sue me for all his time and lost wages. First off, he cannot do that, but just thretening to do it is terrible. We signed up a few months ago with this pool company, with a three month contract. Thank God it's almost done one more month. We do not recommend this company. They do not return phone calls. They did not do fix what they said. The guy spends maybe about 20 minutes here putting a few tabs of chlorine, & vacuuming the bottom of the pool. And that's it!! Very unsatisfied with this company. This is the last pool guy you want to hire, let me tell you why. Danny was hired by my tenants, by the time I got involved my entire fiberglass pool was ruined. He convinced them they had to drain the pool, because the chemicals were so messed up because he didn't know what he was doing, now I have to re fiberglass the whole thing. He stole the cleaning system he fraudulently convinced them to buy when they moved out thinking nobody would ever know. Meanwhile the chemicals were not balanced properly, the valves were all set in the wrong position, there was no lid on the suction, (anyone could just fall in and break their ankle) no strainer basket to stop any rocks from going straight to the pump,. which actually happened, took out the impeller and diffuser all while he was still trying to convince them they needed to buy a new pump and motor because of this!!! He broke City of Chandler water conservation laws and HOA rules by backwashing way more often than necessary! (To charge them of course)When my neighbor tried to speak with him about it he was extremely rude. He didn't know how to set the valves properly so he told the tenants the spa didn't work! Than getting multiple phone calls where they are calling to collect the balance than remembering that it was waived.... Now i get a letter that they sent to collections.... BEWARE OF Gilbert Pool Services LLC  Their business is based on lies and deception just to get you signed in to a contract that they would not honor, without delivering an honest service. If I could give them a negative 5 star, I would, but there's no such thing. This all started when we received a flier in the mail advertising pool services for $99 a month. I called them and scheduled an appointment, because our pool really needed maintenance. They sent us a technician, named Mike, scheduled for the 8th of February. He was so late! We did not even get a courtesy call to let us know when he would come. I finally called to ask if he's even going to show up after waiting so long. When he got here, he looked at our pool. He ended up signing us up for Supreme service "Because our pool was too big". So instead of $99 a month, it ended up being $183.29, after tax. He assured us that this was a month-to-month deal, and that we could easily cancel at any time.  Most of the time just involved him taking his time and going back and forth to his car to sign paperwork and supposedly talk to his supervisor. He brushed some of the sides of our pool a bit and scooped some leaves from the surface for a few minutes, but later on we ended up doing most of the work ourselves because of all the leaves still in the water. We asked him if this was counted as one of the four visits, and he said that it did not, that someone else would come within 2-3 days.  I called the supervisor named Ashley, who by the way is so unfriendly and many times rude. She said that someone would come that next Friday (2/11). I asked what time, and she just kept saying that she doesn't know, that he would just get there whenever he gets there. No one ended up showing up!  I called Mike (The technician who "cleaned" our pool) about this, and he said it would be next friday! Next friday? Apparently his mediocre cleaning actually did count as one of the four visits. In other words, we would have to wait almost two weeks after signing up for the Supreme service. He lied to us. Completely contrary to what the contracts fine print says, which says that if you are signed up for Supreme service you are 100% guaranteed pool cleaning within 24 hours of scheduled appointment.  At this point, we were fed up with their horrible and deceitful services and the terrible customer service. So I emailed them, and gave them a call. I spoke again with the supervisor named Ashley, requesting to cancel service and demanding a refund. She said that she could not give a refund, and said that the cancellation fee would apply to this, since it was prior to 90 days. She wanted to hold us up for three months before we could cancel. This was not in the contract, which said that it applied only to year round pool service. I did not check off year round, I checked off Supreme service, which was monthly! She was literally saying that our fine print was wrong, and was totally making up her own version. After talking back and forth and continually being put on hold, she called us back and said that she could give us $62 back. She said "That's the best I can do." She kept asking us if there was anything else she could help us with while we were trying to explain the situation to her. This was her way of dismissing the conversation. She even tried to intimidate us to go to court if we wanted to. She acted like she didn't care just so that we would give in.  We insisted that we see the pictures that Mike took of the pool, to see what he showed his supervisor and to explain why they should take so much of our money. The first picture that he took before he cleaned it was straight over the pool, before turning on the waterfalls, to show all the leaves at the bottom. Before he started cleaning, he turned on the waterfalls, claiming that this would help filter the water. The picture he took after cleaning was from an angle, so that you could only see the surface of the water, and the water was disturbed from the waterfalls so you could only see the leaves if you zoomed in. He even made the effort to clean the steps on the side and specifically took a picture of that.  According to the fine print, "Any new year-round service canceled before 90 days will be charged a short-term rate of $85 for the first visit and $65 per week plus chemicals thereafter." Ashley kept bringing this up and saying that this did not apply to only the year-round service, but we signed up for the monthly supreme, which really was just a few brushes on the side and a couple of leaves. She really was trying to get as much money out of us as possible. It was a very painful process to get even a little money back. It felt like wrestling for some of our money back out of a crocodile's mouth.  Based on our extremely negative experience, we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to stay AWAY from this business and save your time, energy, and money. read more

Postscript: Well, it gets worse. The following Monday, I received a text from the "customer service rep" who had been dealing with me on the telephone, and she admitted that she didn't even look my account up. She instead assumed I was someone else, despite my verifying all of my account information with her both over the telephone on the original call as well as in the text I had forwarded to her. So without verifying ANYTHING related to my account, she had originally assumed I was a different customer and tried to sell me an upgrade. Furthermore, she insisted that she'd been trying to call me all day long to explain and apologize ... except I'd been at home all day and neither my home and/or cell phone had ever rung. Then I received an email from someone using the company email account, and I'm attaching a picture. So essentially it's Gilbert Pools policy to even ATTACK and INSULT the customer for THEIR ERROR, calling them less than a man and to accuse the customer of "hiding behind an electronic device" when no phone call was made, no text was received until the end of the business day, and no offer to ever make the service right was extended. Instead, all they wanted was the money -- don't cancel your account, don't cancel your account, don't cancel your account -- but screw you despite the money you paid and here let us insult you on top of that. Beware!!! They took $110 to make appointment then the guy never calls or shows up!!! I waited around all Day for this guy- No Call, No Show!! Complete waste of time. He shows up the next morning at my door like its not a big deal, and I sent him away- I fixed my pool chemicals myself with the Clorox test strips!!! Then he proceeds to tell me that I could have called him before he came out! Really???? He is a Day Late!! Also, When I called the office to get my $110 back- they don't answer my calls!! This has been the worst experience ever! As a new pool owner they will take advantage of you. In my situation the pump was turned off and I didn't know this so the pool guy that they sent out told me this and turned it on with no effort. I ended up getting an invoice for that. Additionally, they contract out pool guys and they pool guys don't give you a photo when they leave or a report when they leave. My place has been serviced by dumping chlorine in the pool, which i can do myself. This company will call you though to pay your bill early! read more

So I started service with Gilbert pool service 3-4 months ago the representative told me that they would give me all of these great services at a discounted price. I gave her my credit card to put on file and 2 to 3 different times they changed my date on the days that they were coming out to service my pool then I started to receive emails from them stating that my bill had not been paid and that I was behind after I gave my credit card to have on file then I received a very nasty email from one of the representatives stating that I was two months behind on my pool bill and if I did not pay within two days they were going to send my file to collections. I replied to the email and stated to the representative who sent the email I pay my bills on time and that I will be calling in to pay off whatever balance that is due and to discontinue the service when I called in to pay the bill The representative stated to me that she had a card on file I said well if you do why are you sending an email stating that a bill needs to be paid she then stated to me that she could not use the card on file I paid the bill and told her to discontinue the service I no longer want to use them horrible horrible customer service. read more

As a new home owner with a pool, I knew pool service was important. I made the mistake of signing up with Gilbert pool service... After receiving a review of my pool Im told ill need to have some work done on the pump, no big deal the pool is a little older whatever. I pay the $200 to have a gasket and the filter basket replaced. I returned home after having the work done and the filter basket is laying in my landscaping and there is an opened bottle of chemicals sitting near the pool pump on the ground... No I know its not their responsibility but there are signs that a dog lives here and having opened chemical bottles on the ground is a HUGE problem for me... I have an English Bulldog and if you know anything about them they are not a cheap bread. On top of that I would be devastated if Charlie got into the chemicals that Gilbert pools just carelessly left laying around. On top of that, the next day when there was some wind the bottle was knocked over and the contents drained out into my landscaping... im sure I was billed for those chemicals too. about 1 1/2 months into having their service I come home to find my pool is completely green... what the hell am I paying for?!?!? the two months I maintained the pool before having their service, I was able to avoid anything like this. I later found the discarded trash from the stickers they applied to my timer box and pump laying on the ground... what the hell!?!? you are working at a customers house and you just throw trash all over the ground? the most unprofessional company I have ever done business with!! I am finally cancelling service with this joke of a company after 3 months service as my pool has been in such a state that I cannot swim in it at all. I will take on the responsibilities of cleaning it myself moving forward. I will attach some pics of the state they kept my pool in for the last 2 weeks. I wish I had a pic of it when it was green... People, save your money and go to another company that cares about their customers and understands business. Rick stated in court that he didn't need to make things right with me because he has plenty of business. Rick is pleased with taking me to court because the judge split the amount down the middle. Not a win for me or him. Rick is just gloating because he was able to cheat money out of me that he doesn't deserve. The judge was lazy. They do not return your calls. They do not call or let you know when someone is coming out. They were called to find the leak in our Spa/Pool. Rick came out 3 times to locate it - he was great! However someone was to come out to do a pressure check to pinpoint the leak in the pipe. Did not hear from them for 4 days and then they just showed up while there was no one home. They did call my husband for permission to enter the backyard. Never got a call to tell us what was wrong, just received an invoice 3 days later for $250. The invoice stated the leak was due to cracks in the spa wall which was already negated by the first tech Rick. I called them and left them a message stating I was not paying the invoice due to the fact that their tech did nothing but take my husbands tools with him. (The tool just showed up the next day) Funny thing...I got a call from them an hour later. I plan to pay the invoice but I have called another company to come and take care of the repairs. I will never do business with this company again. I've had a great experience with Ken who had helped get my pool drained and cleaned and repaired. He went the extra mile to track down the service tech on a valve that was having issues and still under warranty. He's always responsive in returning calls and letting me know his schedule if he plans to be unavailable. The office staff are always pleasant and helpful as well. read more

I broke an underground pipe. They were quick and reasonable in fixing it. I'd use them again if I needed anything for my pool.

Wonderful! Today I had a pool emergency and, while they were booked for the day and couldn't come out (it was late in the day), the person on the phone walked me through the emergency and fixed it with me while on the phone, patiently walking me through the steps, free of charge. I just wanted to share the email that I received after canceling my account with Gilbert Pool Service. To review, the repair guy didn't call or show up in the morning as was agreed. When he did finally arrive, he turned off the house water without telling anyone, then he pumped chlorinated water onto my lawn and shrubs, then over my property line, washing out drip lines for some other shrubs. When I called the office to tell them about it, the office called him back and he proceeded to complain about me within earshot. I finally forcibly extracted him. I'm not sure which disturbs me the most - the gross negligence of the technician, or the thinly veiled threats of the field manager: "Here is the link to check their website and file a complaint; http://www.azroc.gov/forms/contractorsearch.html Our license number is 203666 if you would like to check our complaint status. We have no complaints due to the fact the they are a government agency. A business is innocent until proving guilty. Unlike the BBB, where a business is guilty until they prove they are innocent. With the BBB, they take complaints and once the business proves to be innocent they mark it as a resolved complaint. We have several complaints with the BBB, but customers always regret taking that route. The BBB is a private organization funded by businesses by selling advertising and membership fees to businesses. They have absolutely no authority as far as law in concerned. For a consumer, its free, easy and gives the consumer a shoulder to cry on. The very last complaint from a customer was quite humorous. He complained because we sent him to a collection agency. He didn't pay for 3 months of pool service. We do advertise a $50 no show guarantee so he thought by locking his gate every other week he could pay his bill because no one signed the card therefor no one showed up. Wrong, all of our cell phone have GPS recording devices. We could prove we were there so we took him to Highland Justice Court, (keep in mind a real courtroom supersedes the BBB, so the BBB has to drop any complaint that has a court record number). This customer paid his bill once he seen court papers with attached exhibits proving our innocence. He probably didn't want a court Judgment on his credit report. Those take about 100 points off a FICO score for a period of 6 years. I do have a question for you. Where is one suppose to pump backwash waste water, if you don't use the lawn? I have owned a homes with pools since 1990 and have always back washed into my lawn. Since chlorine is actually a gas, it doesn't have a chance to absorb into the ground hurting any plant life. When in fact, the mineral build up from the pools evaporation rate acts as a fertilizer to the plant life. On my current house the backwash line is hard plumbed underground and it discharges into the lawn on the west side of my driveway. The grass on the west side of my driveway is much healthier then the grass on the east side that only gets city water to maintain it. This company is very shady! Not only did they provide subpar pool maintenance they overcharged me as well! I did a DE filter clean out and did a chlorine bath on my pool with another company and hired Gilbert Pool Service to do the monthly maintenance. My pool looked great but it was short lived. I was extremely frustrated that the pool guy was not able to maintain the proper chemicals and my algae came back after a couple of weeks! And they said they weren't responsible for the algae, really?:/ Out of sheer laziness or stupidity the pool guy told me he did not know how to re-install my skimmer basket handle after he took it off and I had to re-install myself. The pool was not properly scrubbed on a consistent basis and there was for the most part a ring of dirt and algae around the pool edge. I could go on and on.... My agreement was for 80.95 per month for service and chemicals. In June they charged my card $128 and in July $122!!! They did not notify me or get my approval for the 'extra services' they supposedly performed. And they charged me extra for the DE. Is that not part of the chemicals that I'm already paying for? I disputed the charges with my bank and was able to get the funds back! They make you sign a 3 month service agreement and if you cancel, you will still be charged monthly until the 3 months are up. Please save yourself the frustration and a terrible looking pool and skip this company! read more

You have to watch all charges & changes to the service to make sure they were processed (for example: call back and make sure the change was actually made in the system). Apparently, once a year we are supposed to get a technician report of the additional work they are recommending, they said they emailed it, but my husband claims he never saw the recommendations in the 9 years we were working with them. Maybe it's somewhere in his email and he didn't get it, but I'm really surprised they never once advised us to empty and refill the pool in the 9 years, but always wrote notes to on us on the door for other things. read more

Hired Gilbert Pool Service to service my pool weekly. Within 1 month, They showed up for initial estimate and one additional time. The tech turned off the flow valve to my pump. Had I not caught it, it would have burned up my equipment. Called to speak to manager -no return call. Cancelled service on 09/14. Two weeks later 09/29, I caught their tech in my backyard who notified me he'd been there the week before as well. Called office again -crickets. Called again 10/13 - Office manager says I have to speak to manager. He'll call me back. No call! In mean time I get another bill for another month. Again Owner/manager won't call back. Office manager can't help or explain. FINALLY get a voicemail from Rick the "manager " saying billing for last month was in error but remaining bill of $306 (for two visits) after paying $65 already, can be paid, or sent to collections and disputed and they'll just file in small claims and I can have my day in court. Guess what Rick - you bet I'll have my day in court. After Reading the other reviews, it paints a very clear picture of how you do business. I think maybe a judge should see that as well as the scam you're trying to run on me. I'd give them NO stars if possible. read more

I signed up with Gilbert Pool Svc (GPS) becuase they were a recommended vendor by my home warranty company HSA. I wanted to go with a company that already had a solid relationship with HSA and allowed me to be covered without the hassle of having to deal with multiple companies. I also wanted to support a local business in GIlbert, AZ. So far my service with them has been solid. The customer service is friendly and helpful and the technician who services the pool weekly has been timely, efficient and honest. I say honest because at one point I was swimming and playing with kids when my wedding ring slipped off and disapeared. I searched everywhere, both in and out of the pool. I even removed the drain cover to search thinking it may still be resting on the drain shelf without being sucked down the drain hole. Unfortunately nothing was found and I gave up. My wife and I were both very disappointed in the loss. Our 7th anniversary fast approaching and I was contemplating getting a replacement. Then about 1.5 weeks later, my wife arrived home from work early and allowed my kids to play outside on the back patio. As she opened the sliding door, to her amazment, she noticed my wedding rind sitting on the curb. Having no idea how it got there, we assumed "the pool guy" must have found it and returned to us. A week or so later we noticed flooding in our backyard and found that the actuator dome had cracked and was spewing water whenver the pump ran in the morning. We thought it might be suspicious but ,also realized the pool equipment was about 16 years old and the likelihood of failure at somepoint soon was possible. I immediatley called HSA who then gave approval to contact GPS. I coordinated the appointment and GPS was out the next day to inspect the situation. Parts needed to be ordered and a proposal was provided to fix. I called to ask follow up questions and mention the ring story. I spoke to the owner of GPS who addressed my concerns and explained that yes indeed it was his techinicain who found the ring and placed it by our backdoor. Surprisingly the ring must have been immediately sucked down the drain hole as he found it in the skimmer basket. As a symbol of our love/marriage, my wife and I are so thankful for this man's efforts and honesty/integrity in returning the ring to us when it could have easily been taken or pawned. As it turned out, not everything was covered by HSA and there was a balance left to pay. GPS discounted the remaining cost and credited my next bill. Needless to say I am very happy with GPS and will continue to use them. If you are looking for a reliable and honest pool service vendor in the Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe area, you should definitely consider calling GPS. read more

Come to find out from their manager Rick that their GPS doesn't show them coming out to my property! I asked them to cancel my service for that reason and according to Rick they would. One day I happened to be home when they came and the guy was there for less than two minutes and did absolutely nothing but throw a bit of powder in. No testing, no cleaning, nothing. I started paying attention and saw that this happened every time. I got my water tested independently and it is so bad that I have to drain the pool. That's 30,000 gallons. I'm just sick about it. When I called to complain I was accused of "trying to get something for nothing" and there was no attempt at all to make things right. They straight up did not care. I cancelled by service but they kept coming anyway until a physically intercepted the service guy and sent him away. Horrible, horrible service and worse customer service. Do NOT recommend. When I signed up for WEEKLY service, I was informed that a technician would come out weekly on the same day each week. In a 2 1/2 month period, a technician came out maybe 3-4 times TOTAL, never on the same day of the week, and my pool chemical levels are off. I made repeated attempts via phone and email to resolve the issue but to no avail. Terrible service (or lack thereof) and I do NOT recommend. read more

Literally the WORST. If you are a pool company, and you have pool in the name of your company you damn well better be good at what you do. Actually for about a year they werent bad. Hard to get a hold of most of the time but my pool looked good and thats all I cared about. After about a year they fired the guy that was servicing my pool and it all went downhill. They let it turn green then charged us to empty and refill it. It stayed clear for like 2-3 days then got cloudy again. I called SEVERAL times to ask that they get it under control and they just never would or could despite saying they were sending someone out. I finally got fed up and hired a new pool service. He came out yesterday and told me A) There was no chlorine in the pool. Next he told me that it appeared that when they emptied and refiled the pool that they didnt put in any startup chemicals. Lastly and this one gets me so mad. I asked them over and over to check the timer and make sure everything was good because I didnt know much about it. Turns out that the timer thought it was like 10 hours later in the day! Oh, and they are more expensive than pretty much anyone in the valley. STAY AWAY read more

Stay FAR away from this company!! We have a heat pump that the temperature sensor was going bad. This company name is close to Gilbert pools on Val vista. Unfortunately I thought I called them. I however called this company. A technician came out and gave us a high quote if 470.00. Because of my impatience I paid before doing research. Figuring this was all correct. He called days later to come do the repair between 9am and 11am. Great. Never showed up. Got home that night at 6:30 in the pitch dark to find him leaving my backyard and my pump making an incredibly loud sound. It was awful. Called the company the next day and he claims he fixed it. The temp is still off and my hot tub won't heat past 98 degrees. We we found screws all over the ground near our heat pump. He didn't put it back together correctly and it makes a horrible sound. He said he'd refund us for part of the invoice that he didn't fix, because he said it's the motor. Then he tries to just sell me a new heat pump because mine is from Florida. He can't find a part for a new motor. I kept telling him no! This pump is fairly new purchased in 2019. He sent a quote for 19,000 for a new pump. So basically we paid 470.00 for more problems. They are horrible communicators. Stay away!!! read more

It would have been nice to be able to write a review. The only problem was they were a "no call - no show" on the day of the original appointment. I called them to see what happened and was connected to a technician who stated he was really behind and could be at my home from 4:00 - 6:00. I said that was fine and even gave him an out by offering to let him come the next day if he was that far behind. He agreed and said he would call back to confirm, but would be to my house first thing, between 6:30 and 7:00 the next morning. Again, a no show - no call. Don't ignore the bad reviews. I haven't written many reviews over the years. I contacted Gilbert Pools when I bought a new house with a pool. I noticed the bad reviews after setting up the initial appt. I wanted my filters inspected to be safe and then normal ongoing service. The tech came out and walked around for awhile. He never opened the filters and then told me they do need to be replaced. Cartridge filters can be cleaned and reused. Without opening, there's no way to know if they are in good shape or not(pressure was good). There was a pool service team from the previous owner and the pool was in great shape. They wanted $500+ for new filters. I declined to replace them as they never looked. I did enroll in the weekly service. Someone was supposed to come out in the next day or two. No one ever did(I think bc the tech changing filters was to be the next step). I called and they said someone has been coming. I work from home and have been cleaning the baskets out everyday. Dog would not have allowed it either. Chemicals were off. I called and cancelled. They billed me again for the following month. I called again and they told me again it had been getting service. It was 6-7 weeks later and no one had ever been to my house since the tech. I already had another pool service coming out weekly. They were slow to refund one month and I did ultimately pay for one month of service. Poor communication and resistant to run an honest business. One newer employee was nice, but the main staff in charge is unprofessional. Poorly managed. read more

I would highly recommend to stay far away from this company. When we signed up for service, we were told we would have someone clean our pool every Thursday. First week, the guy was 3 days late. Then he said he will come between Friday and Sunday each week. The last month of service he came every 10 days. We had to call each time to get someone to come out and clean our pool. Early on, the pool service person told me he would set up a time for our filter to get backwashed. When I called the company 3 days later, he never set one up. They sent out a "manager" to backwash the filter and he put the hose across the pool so that when he turned on the pump, the hose retracted and went into the pool for the first 10-15 seconds-so all of the dirty water went back in the pool (it was recorded on our Ring cam)...The pool service guy incorrectly installed our new pool vacuum. We cancelled service after coming late each week and only 3 times in the month. They have still tried billing us for that month even though they clearly didn't follow the contract. We called to cancel in the beginning of July. They tried billing us for the July "service" and my wife had to call 3 times to tell them all of the issues we had and we weren't paying for service they agreed to but didn't provide. We just received a Past Due notice from them for August service even though they weren't servicing our pool still. Gross incompetence all the way around. read more
