    Bison Burger*

I usually come here and order the Chili Crunch Ahi Tuna Bowl (would definitely recommend), but I wanted to try something different this time, so I ended up going with the Bison Burger (medium, no tomatoes or onions), along with the Truffle Fries & Ranch. I really enjoyed how juicy and flavorful the Bison Burger was to bite into. Definitely a new favorite! I also enjoyed the seasoning and thickness of the Truffle Fries. The ranch was also great to dip them into! As for my drink, I decided to try the seasonal Watermelon Margarita. Also a great choice! I really liked its fruity taste along with the Tajin rim. Such a good combo and contrast! If it's still in season by the time I come back, I would definitely re-order it! Overall, yet another successful visit

First time here tonight! First of all I love the high ceilings and the mountain lodge vibe, though I wish the hedge of trees around the patio was more solid so you didn't have to see the parking lot or freeway at all. The patio area besides the above mentioned recommendation was cozy with a large fire out and lots of seating, a large skylight letting in plenty of natural lighting and loud enough music to drown out any traffic sounds from the 10 freeway. Camila our server was super friendly and attentive. Because it was our first visit here, the staff bright us complimentary chips and a card for a free appetizer or dessert the next time we visit. Nice touch! We ordered the watermelon margarita and the huckleberry hazy IPA. Both were refreshing and decent though not outstanding. Our food was nonstop deliciousness: from the leafy green house salad to my lemon grilled chicken with cauliflower mash and green beans and my husband's chuck wagon flatiron steak with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes--every bite was packed with flavor and texture and pizzazz.. yummmmmy ;) We had a $40 gift card, which was why we came in the first place, but after this excellent dining experience, we'll be back! Kudos to Camila in particular for making us feel welcome.

Always a good place for a good meal with reasonable prices, service is top notch and everyone checks on you, we went on a Monday. Wasn't that busy and pretty chilled environment. I always recommend Lazy Dog toe everyone.

I try not to frequent smaller more locally owned businesses, but Lazy Dog is open later than most restaurants. After 9pm options are limited. So off we go to Lazy Dog to celebrate my daughter's concert. First off our waiter was absolutely wonderful. When our French dip puff pastry appetizers showed up Cold, he brought us new ones promptly and took them off the bill. But that really ruins the illusion that they're actually making the food back there, as opposed to just heating from frozen. Then I ordered the Cuban sandwich. My bad. I should have known better. The bread was all wrong. I will not elaborate. My daughter really liked her fettucini Alfredo. It's not Eddie's, but far better than Applebees or Olive Garden. Good beer selection.

Came to Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar hungry and left happy, full, and slightly considering a second round of bacon! Jk lol well kinda not kidding lol!!!! Some nights just call for serious comfort food, and Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar understood the assignment! First mistake of the night: agreeing to "share" the candied bacon. Thick cut, crispy, sweet, spicy... basically bacon candy. I blinked and it was almost gone. lol Then came the pot roast, fall-apart tender, swimming in rich gravy, sitting on a cloud of mashed potatoes with carrots on top. This dish felt like a warm hug after a long day. It was freezing in there but comfort food and full tummy warmed up my soul! Haha! The bison meatloaf also deserves a standing ovation! Hearty, flavorful, and the kind of plate that makes you loosen your belt and say, "totally worth it." (This also had wrapped bacon) nomnomnom Add a smooth berry martini, cozy lodge vibes, and a lively crowd and you've got a solid family night out. We had never been to this location and before hitting the night at bullwinkles down the street we stopped by here to eat and are already planning our next time we come back!!! Pro tip: Order the bacon. Don't share the bacon. Trust me on the bacon. $5 get two... trust!

The patio is lovely, my dog enjoyed her meal. My meal was not good. I ordered the grilled cheese and tater tots and chopped salad. The chopped salad was good, fresh, lettuce was crispy after that it was dismal. The grilled cheese was burned including the garlic on the outside of the bread I had one bite. One of our friends ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was cold. Not sure if the place was having on off day or if this is typical.

Stopped by on Saturday, 03/07/26 with my parents for lunch. We were seated upon arrival, however there was a waiting line shortly after! We ordered the following: - 1 Pie Tin Nachos (Carnitas) = $17.50 - 1 Loco Moco Fried Rice (Lunch) = $15.95 - 1 Kung Pao Bowl (Lunch) = $14.95- 1 - 1 Chile Ahi Tuna Bowl = $19.75 SUBTOTAL = $68.15 WELCOME BACK PROMO = (-$17.50) / Free appetizer HOLIDAY PROMO E-GIFT CARD = (-$10) HOLIDAY PROMO E-GIFT CARD = (-$10) COMPLIMENTARY SERVICE = (-$10) DISCOUNTED SUBTOTAL = $20.65 TAX = $1.86 TOTAL = $22.51 Paid the total via gift cards (I now only have $0.25 left!). Also gave $10 cash tip to our server. The wait time for our meals took too long, I had to ask our server and she mentioned that there is a back log and apologized for the wait. Our server also asked us about how's everything so far and we mentioned that we were just waiting for our main meals, I think there was a miscommunication as she thought we wanted to eat our appetizer first. I ordered the Ahi Tuna bowl which was delicious! I totally forgot to ask for brown rice instead of white rice. Oh well.

Went to Lazy Dog on the busiest day of the year with our puppy...not the smartest idea. With dogs everywhere, he is still not trained enough to go without barking, which was a bit stressful. Food was ok, but service was great. The bowl of chicken for dogs looked delicious and our pup loved it.

    Burger

The burger itself was pretty underwhelming and just not worth $24 in my opinion. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything special or memorable. Pretty bland. That said, the drinks were good.. the sangrias were solid, and the Moscow Mule was too. The environment honestly gets most of the credit here. The space is huge, the lighting is dim and cozy, there's a ton of seating, and the bar area is really nice. The vibe is cool. Service was fine; nothing negative, just standard. The manager was very nice, though. He checked up on the tables during downtime, which was nice of him. Overall, I'd recommend coming during happy hour (weekdays 3-6pm) for drinks and smaller appetizers. The burgers didn't quite justify the price for me, but the atmosphere and drinks still make it worth checking out.

We took advantage of a gift card and were looking forward to the "classic" Hush Puppies. We arrived around 11:30 for lunch and were seated in about 10 minutes. After viewing the menu, we discovered the "classic" hush puppies were no where to be found. In addition, our server confirmed they were no longer on menu...bummer. We ordered two lunch specials; turkey sandwich with tortilla soup and the shrimp tacos. The turkey sandwich was a turkey sandwich, and soup was tasty, but the broth was thinner than expected. The shrimp tacos were good, and the rice and beans were average. I also ordered a $5 side chopped wedge salad, which I enjoyed. Regarding the service, our server was very good. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was very good; however the men's restroom needed some attention. Overall, this was a classic Lazy Dog experience, and we will return when they bring back the "classic" hush puppies!

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

I looked around the patio area and realized there were two other tables whose patrons were there before us, waiting for drinks and service, just like we were. One of them was fanning herself with the menu, as it was close to 100° outside. (There are no misters on the patio, just a slight breeze now and then. And, if you sit near the patio entrance, you should know that the huge dryer vents from the adjacent hotel are pushing hot air into the patio.) We came on a weekend and it was super busy (as it should be honestly with how amazing the food and service are). We got the blackened salmon with penne pasta and baby potatoes, and the flat iron steak with bow tie pasta and herb brown rice. The steak was cooked perfectly medium. The bow tie pasta is served cold and has a vinegary flavor to it, definitely a distinct taste, but I personally loved it because I enjoy sour/vinegary flavors. I can see why it might not be everyone's favorite though, but I personally really enjoyed it. The salmon was also super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Same with the penne pasta and potatoes. Honestly everything was just made really well and good. For the sauce, we got their popular jalapeno garlic sauce and it paired well with absolutely everything. Needless to say, this place was really good from head to toe. I also got to meet the owner and he was super friendly too. I seriously wish they would open one closer to my area. Parking was really easy and the ambience was lively with sports playing all around the bar and plenty of seating.

came with a friend on Friday around 11am. there's a parking lot in the back and 2-hr street…read moreparking. kind of like chipotle style that you pick the protein, then sides and sauce. I ordered blackened salmon with couscous as I saw the reviews that salmon is really good and garlic apple aioli to pair with. we find our own seats inside as it's hot outside, and waited for our food. as it turns out the salmon is pretty good, it's on the thin side but not too dry. lots of couscous that I couldn't finish the plate. garlic apple aioli pairs well with the dish too. my friend and her 12yo son ordered blackened tofu-+salad, and grilled shrimps+penne pasta. the tofu doesn't look very appetizing, and the salad is normal bowl size, not too big, compared to couscous and the pasta sides. the grilled shrimps comes on 1 screwer but looks pretty good as well. price is not too expensive, considering the inflation now. they do have a bar but we only got water. overall it's a relaxing place to catchup with friends, if you don't mind the music is on the louder side.
