    Delicious cucumber salad
    Yolanda O.

This used to be an old spot frequently visited when I lived closer and I forgot how good this place was. For started high quality food and drinks for excellent prices. The bbq ribs are fall apart off the bone and a must have. The creamed corn coleslaw and fries are so good. The rotisserie chicken is delicious unfortunately it's hit and miss as this is our 2nd time the chicken was undercooked. We never had any issues in the past and I guess it can happen. I would still go back especially for the artichoke when in season and for the ribs but will have to pass on the chicken.

Beautiful location. When we arrived we were seated in a small area until our reservation time. They took our drink order while we waited. Once at our table we ordered some appetizers. We got the corn bread bites, dip duo, and smoked salmon. My fav was the dip duo. For entrees we ordered the cheeseburger and bbq salmon. Both of us were impressed and enjoyed them thoroughly. We shared some creamed corn as well which was also delish. Our waiter was very helpful and took all our questions seriously and gave honest recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Phenomenal spot roasted chicken - probably the very best chicken I have ever had. This would include chicken at the Crillon in Paris that used to be the very best. Bandera's is California Hillstone a"la Texas barbecue! Love the corn bread bites in the chicken drippings! The cucumber salad was very refreshing to contrast the savory of the chicken!

Bandera was our final Hillstone in the area we had yet to try, and we are sad we didn't stop in sooner! The inside is most similar to Houston's. We tried the artichoke, which they have not had in quite some time. It was excellent and the remoulade was perfect for dipping. We also ordered way too much food (always good for leftover), and enjoyed the macho salad, crispy chicken sandwich, and the dip duo. You absolutely need to try the pimento cheese dip, I'm dreaming about it still!

Upon walking into the establishment you feel that it is an upscale vibe for sure. We ordered a drink and that priced at $18.00 each which was to be expected given the area. The waitress was nice and the food was brought quickly. I did have a few concerns. I was unaware to order white meat was an additional 10.00 upcharge as that should be an option. Also the sides should be included in the combo and not an additional $9-10 more.Once we asked for additional bbq sauce because the rib needed more, this was a 30-40 wait and we had to keep asking. When they did bring it out it was only enough for one of us so we had to wait again! So I had to give it 4 stars as a result of those concerns.

    Banana Cream Pie was exceptional

Your stand out employee yesterday was the hostess working on Saturday, 5/23 at 12 noon. She was so friendly and fun as we arrived and departed your establishment. She was a pleasure to speak with and a breath of fresh air. It is rare for someone to be so enthusiastic and truly energized to engage with customers and make them feel welcome in such a kind and generous manner. She gets 10 stars in this 5 star rating option. The ambiance, food and service is always excellent at Bandera and our visit yesterday was no exception. The cornbread bites, house salad and banana cream pie were exceptional. The filet mignon and martini were also excellent, as always. Our servers were professional, friendly and efficient. Very much appreciated. We will be back soon

Had a glass of white wine which was recommended by the manager/sommelier while we browsed the menu. As our friends have dined here several times, we started to nibble on the whipped ricotta, burratina, empanadas and the pan con tomate w/jamon. All 4 were delicious but the empanadas were amazing! Our table was ready once we finished the 4 appetizers. Next up we decided on the tiger prawns, branzino and seared scallops. Thought the prawns were a tad bit overcooked as it was a bit tough. The scallops were well seasoned and especially loved the saffron risotto. Finally, the branzino was cooked perfectly but wasn't a fan of the romesco sauce as it tasted sweet to me. Though we were absolutely stuffed, we ended up trying their creme brûlée, gelato/sorbet flight and their olive cake. I absolutely loved the creme brûlée as the custard was super light. The gelato/sorbet flight was also tasty but sadly wasn't a fan of the olive cake. The place was packed and patrons seemed to stay for a few hours at a time. Only complaint is with how loud it can get with both the music and patrons drinking countless bottles of wine. Service was phenomenal and would definitely head back if in the area. Although they do validate for the 1st hour, we ended up staying for quite some time and parking ended up costing another $18.

Yesterday, I came here for my birthday lunch with my mom after she made a reservation, and honestly, I wish we had just gone somewhere else. We sat down right at our 1:00 reservation and then waited 35 minutes just to get a drink menu. Not food. Not to order. Just the menu for drinks. After we finally ordered, the champagne showed up about 20 minutes later. It was served in wine glasses, which feels like basic wine bar knowledge, but apparently not here. When we asked to switch them to champagne glasses, the waiter brought out smaller wine glasses. Not exactly good etiquette for a place that leans so heavily on its bar concept. The whipped ricotta appetizer came out even later, around the 65 minute mark. As an appetizer. It was fine, probably the best thing we had, but "fine" after that kind of wait is not a positive. From there, everything just dragged. It took almost an hour for my mom's meatballs to come out, and when they did, they were raw. Not slightly underdone. Fully pink in the middle. She sent them back and was so turned off she didn't even want to eat anything else. I ordered a salad and specifically asked for light dressing. What I got was the opposite. It was drenched in a thick, heavy dressing that made the whole thing borderline inedible and the lettuce soggy. After our food, I tried to order drip coffee, which they didn't have, so I settled for an Americano. I asked for warm cream, which I've had done at plenty of places, and somehow it came out clotted. If you know anything about coffee, that shouldn't happen. At this point, we had been there for over two and a half hours. For a salad, an appetizer, and four raw meatballs. The server was very nice and doing his best with being busy. BUT, the overall operation felt completely disorganized and untrained. We weren't the only ones either. The couple next to us was also complaining after waiting 40 minutes just to order breakfast items. To make it even better, parking is only comped for 90 minutes. So because of their slow service, we ended up paying for parking on top of overpriced, underwhelming food. What should have been a 45 minute lunch turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. The bathroom also wasn't clean either time I went, which pretty much sums up the lack of attention to detail across the board. The only slightly redeeming part was the crème brûlée, which was... fine. Not amazing. Just fine. It's a pretty space. I'll give them that. But that's about where the positives end. The food is not good, the timing is unacceptable, and the whole experience feels like Instagram style over quality and substance. Definitely not worth the money, and not somewhere I'd ever go back to.

It's waterfront and can be accessed via the boardwalk (it's behind the street-side shops). Parking can be tough and very expensive - you'll likely have to park in the structure and walk over. Make sure to take your ticket with you for validation. Seating is available inside and outside on their covered patio. Plenty of space for parties of all sizes. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to make a same-day reservation for a Sunday afternoon. They had plenty of open seating even when we got there. Tables were very dirty. They have a lot of work to do - it seems like months if not years of food, dust, and salty moist air mixed together and collected in the creases in the tables, on the walls, etc.. It's like a sticky gross residue that never gets completely clean. Many people like to dress nice in the area but honestly I would hate to wear something nice here out of fear it would get dirty. We also required new plates as ours had old food stuck to them. Service was not great. Our waiter was somewhat attentive but not nice - the poor guy seemed miserable like he hated his job and did not want to be there. Despite the restaurant being full, he wouldn't come by often when we actually needed something - he even disappeared towards the end and a new waiter had to help us. Food is delicious. Besides the location, their saving grace. We tried the sandwiches and yummy! Fries were also delicious with the spicy mayo. Love the different options they have, overall. They also had some great looking food on the brunch and drinks section of the menu. You can scan the QR code at the table to see pictures of each menu item. Overall was good and we'll be back every once in a while because we love Lido. Will try sitting inside in hopes the tables are decent. Really hope management makes some improvements though!

Maybe we didn't dress decent enough for them to serve us since we were in our regular jean and tshirt. So I have to actually speak up and call them to order. So when we get to order, it was 10:20pm already. After the foods are brought out, we had a decent dinner together and they are about to close. So one of the server brought out the check for us to pay and we decided to pay with exact amount with cash and leave tip in cash also. One of the server genuinely SMIRKED at us while counting the money. Like he looked at us and SMIRKED. He probably has a bad day or a busy day but still, it's a Tuesday. So instead of a nice dinner and a good nap, we had a really bad close of the day because of service at Zinque. So if you want food at night, you can come to Zinque but don't expect too much for the services recently, since it was SO MUCH BETTER back then until today.

The server even came out to apologize for the long wait time when we were waiting for our dessert. Took awhile to get someone's attention to ask for and process our check too. The food for brunch, as always, was very good. I liked the egg and guanciale croissant I ordered, though I wish the poached eggs were prepared with runnier yolk. The yolk was virtually well done. My husband enjoyed his burger. The sticky toffee pudding was good but much too sweet. I'm not really into really sweet desserts so I don't think I'd order it again. I mentioned I wanted to sit at the Bar, she smiled and said find a nice spot. Pulled up a stool, sat down between two women on the right and one guy on the left. Almost immediately, my Bartender Sierra stepped up to see what I would be drinking. Ordered a Manhattan and it was cheerfully served to me at Rocket Speed! Well done. The set-up for this classy, old-school cocktail was superb. Of course it was served neat in a Martini stem with a real cherry, not one of those neon, radio active ones and there was also a small carafe with more of the Manhattan contained within for me to repenish my glass. Details matter a great deal and Sierra and the Bar really nailed it with this cocktail! Before too long, I was chatting with the folks adjacent to me on both sides and as can happen, we soon became friends. This always adds to the vibe and fun so things started off really well. That vibe kept going as did the fun! Fortunately, it was a live music night and Sophia was performing. As a musician having been in rock bands back in the day, I always appreciate live music. I'm telling you, Sophia had it going on that night! She played a great collection of songs on her keyboard and is blessed with a remarkable voice-Strong, powerful, energetic, soulful, gutsy and capable of hitting ALL the high notes! I was really digging the vibe, drinks and music and I felt hunger pangs but wasn't really feeling like anything heavy so I asked Sierra to see if the kitchen could whip me up something close to a Cobb Salad. She took care of that for me and the kitchen did the rest with a great version of that Salad! Bravo. Was getting late and I had to drive back so I eschewed the old one for the road and said my goodbyes. I had a great time at The Quiet Woman and now have a new favorite bar.
