When you pull up during peak hours, the street parking might feel like....a scavenger hunt, but you can find a spot if you're patient. Step inside, and you are instantly enveloped in a warm, genuinely welcoming atmosphere. It's very spacious. The decor carries a 3.5 score because it is a little dated, but it more than makes up for it with the customer service and the comfort of the environment. The kitchen delivers a consistency that never misses. The crown jewel here (at least in my opinion) is the Number 10 Flank Steak Pho, featuring a clean, soul-warming broth packed with tender bits of flank steak. A flawless alternative, if I'm not in the mood for soup, is the well seasoned lemongrass chicken. Food (4.25/5): Consistent, flavorful, and reliable. Decor & Vibe (3.5/5): A bit stuck in a past era, but it completely wins you over with its spacious layout and how comfortable the environment is. Customer Service (4.5/5): Fantastic Cost: Around $20 per person

The waitress was inattentive, rude, and highly unprofessional throughout the visit. She was yelling at customers and speaking to them with a very bad attitude. At one point, she even told customers, "If you don't like this restaurant, go to another one," I would never coming back. No customer should ever be treated this way. I was shocked by the disrespectful behavior and poor customer service.

On our last visit, we decided to go all out and order everything we wanted to try (aside from the signature pho, which we had the first time). The appetizer were quite pricey - 2 pieces of beef mushroom roll for $5 and 1 gaibi (braised beef rib) for $11. The gaibi was dry and hard to eat on the bone even though they provided gloves and a knife. The pork chop as a side was $15 for 2 pieces and also on the dryer side. It was seasoned well but I really wished it was juicier. My favorite part of the meal was the smoky beef bun cha platter. The beef was thinly sliced and tasted sweet like bulgogi. The noodles were served with a cold dipping sauce, which contains fish sauce. I enjoyed the noodles but wished they were easier to separate. Lastly, the spicy intestine pho was my least favorite. I personally do not like small intestines so it was not the dish for me. The soup was not very spicy and tasted like the offals. Overall, this is not a classic Vietnamese restaurant so you'll be disappointed if that's what you're expecting. I'd recommend coming here if you are looking for a Korean twist on Vietnamese food.

I do enjoy the fact that you can order specific portions of the appetizers. Summer rolls was a bit confusing without the typical sauce but honestly it was great on its own. Pho itself was good and probably better than most pho offered in the area. I don't think I'll have dreams about it but it's reliable and hits the spot on a cold day. Staff here is also very very sweet and attentive; would come back to see them honestly.

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Pho Che after dining here multiple times over the years…read more I have been a huge fan of their pho broth and their grilled pork chops. They are both always seasoned very well and make a delicious meal. However, the price seems to have increased tremendously for the side of pork chop (almost doubled since they first opened). We opted to try their spicy pho and BBQ pork banh mi on a Saturday. The entire restaurant was packed with plenty of diners waiting for a table. Our food came out quickly and we were able to share our pho with an extra bowl. The spicy broth was indeed spicy and pretty flavorful. There was plenty of meat and aromatics to accompany the dish. I really enjoyed the dish but towards the end, it was just a bit too spicy. The large bowl also had plenty of noodles for two people. The bbq pork banh mi was not as great as other shops that specialize in freshly made banh mi. The pork was seasoned well but the sandwich felt a bit bare and lacking. Overall, I do love supporting Pho Che as my local pho spot and hope they continue to serve amazing food.

We started with two appetizers, the calamari and dumplings, which were both delicious. My cousins ordered Pho, while I had the curry chicken, and everything was served promptly and tasted excellent. The menu isn't very extensive, but their signature dishes are well done. There are only a few tables available, and street meter parking is located outside. Take out was bustling. The owner provided outstanding customer servicr, attentive, welcoming, and happy to offer recommendations. Plug also for shared dessert we had, black tea and Vietnamese coffee. All good. Possibly my new pho place…read more You're not coming here for a "vibe." It's a small place with around six tables and three staff members (two in the kitchen and one taking orders, serving, bussing, and cleaning). Not the most glamorous vision of a restaurant, right? But the food is tasty! We had the summer rolls, peppered calamari, the signature pho, and the beef short-rib pho. The summer rolls and calamari were good, you could taste the freshness of the veggies and shrimp. I wish the calamari had been a bit crispier and seasoned with a touch more salt and pepper, but it was still very good. The real reason I'll be coming back is the pho broth. Some people might describe it as slightly sweet, but to me, it had a rich, balanced flavor. I'm not sure if the short rib is available all the time (it does have a lot of fat, as beef short rib often does), but it was flavorful. Definitely coming back to try more.

The pho was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly balanced -- definitely some of the best pho I've had. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Our server, Cristina, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of the whole time. She checked in at the right moments and had such a warm and friendly attitude. Between the delicious food, the great atmosphere, and Cristina's excellent service, this place really stood out. Mekong at the end of the strip closed a while ago, so a new Vietnamese place fits right in. They spent a good amount for the interior décor in light wood tones and it looks nice. With all the new and popular businesses in this HMart strip mall, the parking situation in this lot is cutthroat with everybody jockeying to get a space at all hours, but even worse at meal times. For new Vietnamese restaurants, I always have to compare their biggest beef pho bowl, the Locomotive 火車頭. Why it's called that, I'm not sure, but most places call it that. The broth comes hot and flavorful with plenty of Brisket, Tripe, Tendon & Eye Round slices and though not the biggest or best, but pretty decent. Garnish with plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeño slices while the broth is hot. The thin rice noodles are just the right consistency, too. I like to mix a dipping sauce for the beef with the hot sauce & hoisin sauce on the table. My son goes for the Grilled Pork w/ Vermicelli Blankets because not all Vietnamese restaurants have it on their menus. He likes to wrap the grilled sliced marinated pork in the vermicelli blankets and dip them in the fish sauce. It also comes on a bed of greens. My wife had ordered the Grilled Beef on Rice Vermicelli, which is sliced, but what she really wanted was the Marinated Cubed Beef and that comes over rice. To round out the meal, we also had a plate of Stir-fried Baby Bok Choy and it was really tasty with plenty of sliced garlic. So next time we'll have to try again, but we'll order a la carte family style. I want to try the Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chops, Salt & Pepper Squid, Stir-fried Water Spinach and maybe throw in some Shrimp Summer Rolls and Fried Spring Rolls. Apparently, this Pho Grand also has a separate buffet takeout counter that you can select 4 dishes over rice & a soup for a flat rate, which is great for a grab & go lunch.

Definitely coming back here…read more Went with my sis and BIL. Place is large and got a lot of seatings. I ordered the pho with grilled pork, sis got papaya salad and BIL got the ribeye and tendon pho. We used to go to another pho which we love for its price, flavor, meat, etc. That pho has closed so we're trying Pho Tan. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. First time here so feel like items may be hit or miss. We were seated immediately and food came out pretty quick after we ordered too. Staff was nice and interior was designed with a lot fake leaves. Papaya salad wasn't bad. Would prefer it to be spicier. All other ones I've had were spicy but this one wasn't spicy at all. Not sure if it's normal to be spicy or they forgot to make it spicy. Ribeye and tendon pho was decent, got a good amount of meat and tendon melted in your mouth. Would prefer pho broth to have a tad more flavor, but all good after we used the sauces on the side. My grilled pork pho was same soup base but THE GRILLED PORK!! Couldn't believe my eyes when the waiter brought out my food cuz like the size of the pork chop?? And there's 2????? Wasn't even like there's mainly bones so there's 2. Each one had a VERY decent amount of meat on it and can I say the flavors greeeeeat. Texture too! So tender. There were some bites where some can say there's a bit much fat one it but it's still like barely any percentage compared to the size of the pork chops. I also appreciate small amounts of fat. The flavors paired amazingly with the pho too. And did I say it's only ~$14!! Idk if I just got lucky but will be coming back again!
