I think this is different from the vibes of an old school dim sum restaurant but honestly a great way to satisfy your cravings/enjoy it with a more modern vibe. I love that there's a little water dispenser with cold and hot water for dine-in. Little plates for people who do family stye. Our party ordered a variety of items. My favorite was the crispy chicken wings. Warm and flavorful. That bit of crisp on the outside was just enough to contrast the tender chicken flesh. The pork crab soup dumplings are a generous portion with plenty of broth on the inside. Honestly had so much flavor on its own that you don't even need the black vinegar. The fried HK shrimp dumplings were pretty good. Delicious plump shrimp but the fried dough didn't offer much. I probably would just stick to my usual har goes. My friends ordered the fried coconut bread which was a nice way to wrap up the meal. Overall nice chill atmosphere. Very clean area and music wasn't too loud.

DO NOT order anything from the "Special Summer Menu." It is essentially a bowl of tepid noodles slathered with some horrible commercial sauce and a few vegetables. You can do better at literally any other Chinese take out place in the area for less money. Mine was with some awful peanut sauce that made the dish inedible. These items should not appear on the menu. Also had the greasy scallion pancakes which were served with some sort of indistinguishable sauce (not soy, closer to hoisin, which is not typical). Again, could not finish as they were beyond the grease factor. I wanted to order the vegetable dumplings, which were reliably good, but for some reason did not appear on their automated menu system. Finally, as a Caucasian customer I always enjoy having the racist staff bring me a plastic fork instead of chopsticks. It is the final insult to a mediocre experience.

I got fried chicken wings and pork fried rice-- a staple and a great barometer. The chicken was fried to perfection and looked good to the eye, the crunch was excellent, but the flavor was no where to be found. Zero seasoning. Is this how it is all the time, or was this a glitch?? Sadly, I will never know because this was a one and done. The rice was good, it saved the day. They also leave the sauces out for you to take as many as you need--maybe I should have taken that as a hint.

Drove through NY and needed a quick bite to eat and started looking at Chinese food restaurants…read more This place had one of the highest ratings and I can see why! The food was done within 15-20 minutes and we loved everything we ordered. Everything tasted authentically Cantonese, not spiced or super flavorful. Just your basic, comfort food. Exactly what we needed on our drive home. This place is located in an okay neighborhood area, but we didn't have time to sit down and eat. There's limited seating. We saw a lot of people waiting for takeout. The food was so hot and tasty when we picked it up. We got: BEEF TERIYAKI STICKS So tasty, cooked well with a slight char to it and seasoned enough to give it flavor, but nothing overwhelming. CRAB RANGOON These were so crispy and creamy, so freaking good with lots of crab and cream cheese with every bite. FRIED CHICKEN WINGS These chicken wings were GOOOOD! Perfectly fried crispy outside and juicy chicken inside. The flavoring of the outside was very flavorful and made every bite so satisfying. Wish we got an additional order! SAUTÉED STRING BEANS This is a comfort food for me, just your basic green beans sautéed in super light soy sauce and garlic. YUMMMM! BEEF CHOW FUN Another comfort food of stir fried beef and bean sprouts. So tasty and the rice noodles were perfectly fried and chewy. PORK FRIED RICE This pork fried rice was super tasty, but different. The rice was more pilaf which I absolutely loved and there was so much barbecued pork in it. Wasn't saturated in soy sauce which is how it normally comes, a really light and tasty fried rice. HOT & SOUR SOUP I love hot and sour soup and this was sooo good. It wasn't too sour, flavored and spiced just enough to check all the boxes and left me wanting another bowl full! Spent over $50 and got a free 2-Liter soda too! Will definitely stop by this place again on my future drives through or to NY!!!
