This has to be at least my fifth, if not more, annual summer sit down visit at this restaurant. Separately, throughout each year, we do indulge in the occasional takeout order. But what's been a constant are these great annual early afternoon family dinners. We can't go wrong as service has always prompt and fairly friendly. Mind you the same servers are still here from when the Green Dragon became 'New'. Meals have been consistent and always served timely. The restaurant itself is always clean, with the same decorative reddish accents and wooden interior. With bright, semi-bright lighting. The New Green Dragon is a good neighborhood spot to get decent eats. Chill and catch up with family and get many belly laughs in between.

The locals I spoke with suggested we try China Wok, so let's check 'em out. From what I witnessed they are your basic Chinese-American fast food kitchen. With a couple of tables set up if you so happen to stay. Majority of the orders are to go. Ordering is no nonsense and meals are wok'ed up or fried quickly once placed. We stuck with ordering a couple of our go to staples for comparison. No major complaints, with the exception that I forgot to request light sauce on the General Taos, which when fulfilled you'll get a perfect ratio between crispy and sweet. So my bad on that. The portion received was huge and tasty, but I could only took a few bites of the cloying sauce. The order of Lemon Chicken had only one chopped up chicken breast sitting on top of a quarter head of chopped lettuce. Taste was good and similar to our previous go to but one chicken breast versus the usual two was out of proportion for the price. In place of our defunct go to, we'll give China Wok a second chance until we find an alternative.
