My parent unit and I decided to try this place after hearing great reviews about their Bento boxes. We each ordered a Bento box lunch. My P.U. ordered the Salmon and I had the Steak Teriyaki, Awesome! Food was fresh and so good. The service was on it! The restaurant was freshly renovated with new table set-ups. I really enjoyed the tablet menu with the descriptions of the food and vivid pictures. Looking forward to ordering sushi next time.

Tonkatsu ramen

This was my third time visiting Ginger Bistro, but my first visit on a weekend, and the food continues to impress! I had the Tonkotsu pork ramen, and my son had the Godzilla ramen. Pro tip: ask for the special house chili oil to dial in your perfect heat level--it's a game-changer! The ramen wasn't piping hot but was still absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients throughout. I do wish they served the Bento box lunch special on the weekends, but everything else more than made up for it. The restaurant was clean, the servers were attentive, and I absolutely love the music--it adds to the great atmosphere. The pork in the Tonkotsu ramen was so good that I need to figure out how they prepare it! I'll definitely be back for more.

Service was great. The special rolls were really so unique. I've never had them anywhere else. And they were really fresh. The menu had a great variety of dishes. Even some Chinese dishes. Great place!

Tokyo Ramen

Excited to try this place for the ramen! A few things, right when you walk it , it did smell heavily like a nail salon. Maybe because the nail salon is next door but the scent of it circulated the entire restaurant. Not sure if the air vents connect. Other wise, I order the Tokyo ramen and it was delicious. The flavor was amazing and the toppings were great! The only thing is you get 3 slices of meat, wish there was more although you can order extra. The soup is delicious, it did leave me thirsty as the sodium level of the soup was high. My husband ordered the sashimi combo and he said it tasted OK not the best quality fish. The inside seating is decent, lots of seating and booths and high chair for little ones. Service was quick and everyone was friendly.

Great service and amazing food! A place we would come for sure when we come back to St Augustine.

Amazing food and friendly staff. On spot with any questions about then, and they are the only place in town with an aging fish cooler.

Must try chill, quality food in the Saint Augustine area. Tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and enjoyed it with the soft boiled egg. Bathrooms were clean, service with a smile. I have yet to try their sushi for next time. Service is amazing, they're very accommodating and the food came out almost immediately. Five stars for me, must try if you're craving some Japanese food

Sashimi Deluxe- 4.5/5 solid fish selection. Clean and fresh.

I have my share of sushi from Mainly the west coast. Ginger offers a pretty decent selection of sashimi and specialty rolls. I really like the lunch offers for a nice budget friendly category. They did had toro...although not the greatest but decent. I I thought the cut was a bit thin to get any of that delicate fatty flavor out. The ramen was pretty decent and great portion and broth was pretty flavorful and smooth. The baos were nice. I would prefer something colorful or pickled to incorporate some tartness with the chashu and fried soft shell crab. Overall customer service was attentive and fish was clean and fresh.

This is one of our go to sushi places. Service is always consistently good and prompt. The dining room was redone last year and it is spacious. The menu is on a tablet but the server takes your order. The sushi is fresh and delicious. I always get a sweet potato roll and this last one I had was the best yet. They have lunch specials where you can get miso soup or salad and either 2 rolls or 3 rolls. Definitely worth checking out!

Great menu and friendly service. Awesome lunch specials too. Have a great Sake and beer selection. I had two rolls and miso soup with sake and an Asahi it was great. It is run by Chinese people not Japanese but the food tastes authentic.

The service was good, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The Spicy Beef Ramen was fantastic and I suggest you come it (it has a bite). The decor is simple but very nice.

Sitting at the sushi bar, you can see seating on my right and also behind me which you can't see

We are based in Jacksonville, so the drive was long, but worth it. Don't be fooled with the feeling that Ramen is a simple presentation of food. It's unusual for me to experience new tastes in dishes, but I was impressed with the caviar on the desert, which was new and somehow worked!

I was checked on very often. The servers were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with selecting my dishes. The chef will often come table-side to introduce a dish or complete a dish with a sauce or finishing touch. Very impressed. Atmosphere: 5 The atmosphere is very nice. There are a few types of seating options. There's a "main bar," a smaller bar seating, the main dining, and an outside. I was seated outside, and it was a nice, cool day. There is also an open kitchen concept, so you can see the chef cooking as well. Value: 4 The pricing is relatively reasonable. While the food tasted okay, the service, atmosphere, and full experience truly makes this a worthwhile experience. Chef Barry is also a James Beard nominee so he is always exploring new dishes and techniques.

Place has the hibachi tables up front and tables/booths in the back. Overall decent decor. First surprise was that it's really a Japanese/Chinese/Thai restuarant. They've got a pretty solid Chinese menu with all the standards on it. And then a bunch of Thai curries. For Japanese it has your bento, hibachi, tempora, teriyaki, udon, etc. So you've basically got all your bases covered! I started with hot and sour soup and it was dang good! Chock full of ingredients and decent spice. For lunch, I went with shrimp in lobster sauce with fried rice. It was exactly what I wanted. Very happy. Wife got a fried tofu appetizer which was HUGE and then some nice salmon. All very good. Daughter got green curry and it was fine but nothing great. Overall, very very impressed especially for the price. Not gourmet or upscale but I thought it was perfect for takeout/sit down type of place.

This Publix is located along a main road, and is easy to navigate to. There is a dedicated parking lot, and we had no issue grabbing a spot relatively close to the entrance. Our visit was on a Tuesday morning in July, and there were a good amount of customers at that time. This location is either relatively new, or recently went through a remodel. Everything is clean, shiny, and modern. I was impressed with the design of the space, and how organized and clean the entire store was. In addition to the typical grocery portions of the store, there were several tables inside to enjoy your food from the hot bars or your drinks. Originally, we tried to order our sandwiches on the app, but it was giving us some issues. We went inside to order and it was a pleasant experience. There were a few people in line before us, but we were served in no time. The employees making our sandwiches gave some good recommendations when we asked about their limited time offers. We pursued around the store for a couple minutes before we checked out. Our group grabbed some chips and other grocery items to accompany the sandwiches. I personally headed to the hot bar, which was right next to the deli/sandwich bar. They had cheese curds that are sold by the pound. I personally love cheese curds, so I got about a pound's worth. I really enjoyed my lunch! The cheese curds were plump and very tasty. They have more of a breading instead of a crunchy coating, but still very good. My Turkey Pub Sub was awesome. I love how you can truly customize these any which way you want. I even put some egg on as a topping this time. These are even good the next day, as I got a full size and saved one half for a lunch later that week. I enjoyed getting to visit this Publix for the first time. It is a bright and modern location with a huge selection of everything. The staff were all very nice as well. They had various specials and sales in all of the departments, including for the hot foods and subs. I would recommend stopping here for some groceries, or even a quick lunch, if you find yourself nearby!
