    Salad and veggie spring roll

I was working in the area and was craving Thai food. Customer service was great. They said I could sit where I wanted to. I prefer booths but the booth next to the window had lots of sun coming through. They lowered the shade for me. I ordered pad see ew with tofu. It could have been more flavorful. I should have tried the pad Thai instead. The meal was served with a salad and vegetable egg roll. It was delicious.

DoorDash pai Thai . They up charge me 1.27$ because I asked for extra beans sprout. And this is the extra beans sprout I got makes me wonder what normal beans sprout look like.

Great little thai spot in katy with pretty authentic dishes. My family has been coming here for years. It's been a while since we came here last but the prices have jumped. We tried the Pad Kee Mao, cashew with pineapple, peanut chicken and ginger duck. Each dish was either too sweet or too salty. The pad kee mao was delicious and flavorful and spicy but overall salty. The cashew with pineapple was also delicious just sweet. The peanut chicken was such a colorful dish and the peanut flavor was yum but the fish was sweet. The ginger duck was also yummy but salty.

Service was friendly and we were greeted and seated. We ordered... Dumplings - good - only 4 pieces Crab Fried Rice - yummy - good crab flavor Pad Kee Mao - noodles were well seasoned and delicious Green Curry - had a kick but really nice flavor Server was wearing gloves... I wonder how often they are changed. I'd come back.

Amazing service, food and atmosphere. Our waitress was so kind and checked in on us often. We tried the Tom Yum Soup, Panang Curry and the Beef Pad Thai, all 3 were excellent with great flavors and spice!!! We look forward to coming back again!

Food is good but they do not provide consistency. I ordered a masuman curry and Tom yum soup. Why is the quantity of the masuman curry a lot less? I paid a lot for the food and got a lot less. They ALEAYS do this. Why not serve your patrons properly so they keep coming back and pay your bills????

Ginger Thai has my go to comfort food when I'm town. The restaurant is always clean and the service is fast. I got the Basil Fried Rice with shrimp, chicken, beef, and pork. It is probably one of the best fried rice I've tasted. It is absolutely delicious-so flavorful and has a spicy kick to it. Trying out this place won't disappoint.

We love Thai food and this is the best in and around Katy. Very consistent, always hot (these days we do take-out). Would highly recommend.

Thai Tea: Sweet, delicious, and exactly what a traditional Thai tea should taste like--no complaints at all. It was rich, refreshing, and one of the highlights of the meal for me. Che Tai: The Che Tai tasted a little too artificial for my liking and was definitely different from the version I'm used to. It may have also seemed less sweet since I was drinking Thai tea alongside it, but overall, this was probably my least favorite drink of the night. Crying Tiger: This was probably my family's favorite dish of the evening. Paired with rice, the meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, though on its own it leaned slightly salty for me. The texture was also a bit too chewy, and I personally would have preferred a crispier bite. Even so, the flavor was still enjoyable, and both my father and brother really liked it. Grilled Atlantic Salmon Curry: The presentation was beautiful, and the salmon had a nice crisp on the outside. However, I could tell it was slightly overcooked, and the meat itself tasted a little bland, almost as if it had been frozen for too long. The Panang curry was comforting and coconut-forward with a creamy texture that I enjoyed, though it lacked the sharper punch I've had from other Panang curries. Lobster Papaya Salad: I liked this dish much more than the seafood salad. The seasoning was mellow, and the fresh young papaya was well-seasoned and refreshing. Unfortunately, the lobster still had a slight fishy taste that didn't sit well with me afterward. We ordered everything mild since my brother can't handle spice. My father thought the salad was too sour, but my brother enjoys sour flavors, so he liked it more than we did. I also personally didn't enjoy the green beans included in the salad. Yum Talay Seafood Salad: This salad had a softer, more acidic flavor, but I wish the taste had been crisper and brighter overall. The sourness felt muted in a way that didn't fully work for me. It was still decent, just not a standout dish for our family. Service & InKind Experience: The service throughout the meal was a big reason why I still gave this place 4-stars. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and already familiar with the fact that we were using InKind, which made everything feel smooth and effortless when it came time to pay the bill. Overall, Thaicoon had beautiful presentation, attentive service, and a few dishes my family genuinely enjoyed. While some of the flavors didn't fully land for me personally, the atmosphere, service, and seamless InKind experience still made it a solid visit.

I tried so many Thai places looking for a Thai yellow curry with chicken that's comparable- and just could not find it anywhere. A friend mentioned this place, and well, I live in the Heights so this is a trek for me. I will travel for yellow curry though, so trek it I did! I'm so glad I did. This place has now become one of my go-to's and has been added to my rotation. I go pretty often, and I dread the drive everytime until I get a taste of their food. It's also where I take my out of town visitors- it's that good. Located within a strip mall, but it's got a cute ambience, with low key music, and wallpaper that pretties the place up. My regular order includes their Thai tea, cheese rolls, yellow curry with chicken, pad Thai (wrapped in an omelet- so cool!) and their fried rice. Alllllll of it is so good. Oh whoops and my husband loves their beef drunken noodles. The servers are all super friendly and always helpful with suggestions. I couldn't recommend this place enough. But also don't go so much that I can't get a table please!

Soft music, white and red walls with Thai decor. Natural lighting during the day with warm interior lighting. It appears that there has been a makeover to the restaurant. I like the new look more. It seems more upscale in appearance. Dress code here is business casual. 4. Food - I've had their YELLOW CURRY WITH CHICKEN AND WHITE RICE. Cleanliness - dining area is clean. The waitstaff keeps this place in tip top shape. The only complaint I have, although not exactly about cleanliness, I would suggest that management take a look at the lock in the men's restroom. Although it was locked, someone was able to enter still. SUMMARY This is a petite Thai cafe. Everything about this place was enjoyable. We came 30 minutes after it was opened for the day, and there were already a couple parties ahead of us. We were quickly seated, and we were told in advance there was only one cook in the kitchen (Uncle Chin himself!) and that it could be a while before we get our food. We did not mind the wait, and it actually took about 20 minutes from the time we placed our order to when we got our food, so the wait was not bad at all. We ordered their Malaysian Satay. Sadly, there was no beef or combo available, and they only had chicken, but it was delicious! We also had their Laksha and their stir fried noodles. We ate everything. It was perfectly seasoned, very flavorful. There were many proteins in each of our dishes. There was plenty of parking, and despite there being only one person running the front, things went pretty smoothly. The ambiance is great for a casual date night or a family gathering.
