A GREAT BREAKFAST PLACE! Went here for breakfast with my mother and loved it! I got the toads in a hole which was very good and my mom got the brisket breakfast...they smoke the brisket for 14 hours and it was delicious! The customer service was amazing and the staff was super friendly...they even let us park there longer so we could walk around by the bay and explore. read more

We decided to eat here because it was dog friendly and are we glad we did! Everyone there was friendly and kind to our boy Minkey. We ordered and then sat outside on their patio with a view of the marina. We had the Moo brisket sandwich. From the wonderful bread it was on to the tenderness of the meat and the perfect BBQ sauce, it was totally delicious. To top it off, we had their chocolate dipped cannolis. OMG. They were totally worth breaking our diet for.We live almost 3 hours away from Bodega but we will definitely plan another trip there with Ginochio's in mind. read more

Dicovered this little gem yesterday. Had the fish tacos and a bowl of chowder. It was excellent! Low key atmosphere and a great view.

Where do I even begin? This restaurant and the owners are absolutely WONDERFUL! My family and I along with two other couples took their ravioli making class on New Years Eve. The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met you can tell they love what they do and they really put their heart and soul into these classes. I just moved out to Bodega Bay and it can be hard to go out and enjoy some yummy food that isn't crazy expensive or a packed house. This place is a hidden gem!!! Let's face it, dining in Bodega Bay is almost all seafood all the time and most places don't even do that very well. Thank you Ginochio's Kitchen! I now have a place to go that I actually look forward to. The space is small with a nice Bay view and I think there is patio seating. The menu has a wide range of items sure to satisfy everyone in your party. A couple of dishes were not available when we went, which is ok with me, it says they buy fresh everyday. I had the "Piggy" sandwich, a classic pulled pork sandwich smoked on apple wood for 15 hrs served with slaw on a fresh baked bun. Very good! My daughter got the burger and I stole a bite, the beef was high quality Not some frozen packaged patty. On the way out the door I complimented the food to the very nice lady behind the counter gave us a sample of their ribs. Wow! I'm going back for them today. Oh I almost forgot the "7 layer cookie bar" was a big hit as well. Thank you again Ginochio's Kitchen for giving us a new spot for great food. read more

Ginochio's kitchen is our new favorite hidden gem for breakfast or lunch by the water. The breakfast burrito was excellent and the brisket and hash was delicious. The smoked bacon / meats were top notch. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed but sharply decorated with handmade tables and classic Italian kitchen decor. They are kid and pet friendly too. We recently hosted a golf tournament at Bodega Harbour. Dinner was at our part-time home in Bodega Bay, catered by Ginochio's Kitchen. They knocked it out of the park! Our 24 guests went wild with the brisket, chicken and homemade ravioli & focaccia bread. It as beautifully presented on Italian platters and delivered warm and fresh. This is a great little spot hidden on the bay for breakfast. Little bit of a wait but well worth it. The Carmel bacon monkey bread is a must try. This place also loves and nows how to cook bacon perfect. If your eating more around brunch time don't worry they have beer also. This is an absolutely great local spot in a coastal locale that has perhaps a majority of pricey lodgings and restaurants. Who can do that all the time! Often we prefer going to a place that is not pretentious, serves good food, and with great people. Or getting a rack of ribs to go (etc.) is an excellent option. I had the most amazing time! The Ginochios out did themselves! I wanted to try everything on the board but I settled for The Piggy (a pulled pork sammie with coleslaw on top). I'm not a coleslaw eater and had it ordered on the side but as soon as I tasted it I quickly added it to my sammie. It came loaded with meat so high I felt like I had two meals in one. The frys were addicting to lol but before I left they insisted that I take a sample platter with ribs and the brisket. I quickly wish I had ordered the brisket because it melted like butter in my mouth and packed so much juice that I almost ate it all on my way back to the bay area. The positive reviews must have been about dinner barbecue, because breakfast here was disappointing. The meat in the hash with eggs was charred and flavorless - had to add bottled BBQ sauce to make it worth eating. Breakfast potatoes were just OK, scrambled eggs were cooked hastily with no thought for flavor or texture, and came with pedestrian white bread toast. We got breakfast burritos ($10) that were huge. If you are a huge bacon fan you will love it, but for us there was just way to much bacon. The salsa was generic and blah.
