We recently ordered from here after seeing they started to deliver. Years ago we ordered from them and thought they were very good, but after ordering from another local pizza place for a few years now, I can safely say that Gino's is highly overrated. It was so salty that no one in the family wanted to finish it, including the kids. We ended up tossing an entire pie. I can't say we've ever encountered pizza that has been so inedible. The hype is legitimate, & I am very happy that is the case, LIs greatest drinking town deserves great pizza. Thin droopy crust, super salty-cheesy regular slice perfectly soaks up all the beer you will drink in this town. Price is right and more than makes up for the ca$h only policy. Service is charmingly gruff/surly. Exterior neon and classic sh*thole interior add up to perfect LI pizza noir. It is a no-brainer to grab a pie to take to the Bluepoint Brewery. read more

Don't go here. Everyone who works inside is rude, especially the older bald guy, and I think he might be the owner. The pizza is nowhere near good enough to put up with the workers attitudes. Go anywhere else. It's also cash only, which is a big inconvenience. read more

They are horrible ! Nasty people work there and the gourmet slices are horrible no flavor . They barely have business and now I see why ! Im a resident of Patchogue of 40 years ! Went yesterday with my fiancé , my sister and our two boys . My sisters two year old was being a two year old . A little loud and we kept telling him to be quiet . But he's 2 . So we tried to enjoy our food while telling him to be a good boy . the pizza was very bland but we were hungry so kept Eating trying to hurry . My nephew touched one of there pictures, which honestly wasn't a million dollar picture , the guy who makes the pizza comes out from behind the counter , now mind you we are in back of restaurant, yells those are very expensive pictures keep his hands off . He was so nasty there's ways to approach things and this was just down right nasty !!! My nephew didn't try to rip or pull down ! He was standing up and simply grazed his fingers on it ! One thing about me is I would never treat people the way they treated us we ate our food quickly my poor sister was so upset ! I live in Patchogue for 40 years Gino's your rude and your food is bland ! This place was absolutely skeevy. I went to pick up a pie I had ordered one night and went to pay and was told they didn't accept credit cards. The ATM in there was 4 dollars and I was glad I had an excuse to "go to the bank" and not go back. The kid making the pizza in there was so disgustingly sweaty that I literally saw beads of sweat fall into the dough of the pie he was making. I cannot exactly judge the food since I didn't eat it but I'm not a fan of sweat as a topping on my pizza. read more

The Gluten free community has a new shining star Ginos pizza is awesome they have a 10 inch pizza cut into 4 very generous slices for only $10.00 the crust is not your typical gluten free crust I would dare anyone to conduct a taste test to see if they could guess which was gluten free. it is so cheesy and delicious you will be in heaven. I am very sensitive to gluten and I have had this pizza 3 times and not had a reaction when I complimented the stall they showed me how they keep the sauce separate to ensure no cross contamination. If you have celliac you must check out this pizza you will be very glad you did. Also Ginos offers a card for every 10 GF pizzas you buy you get 1 free!! read more

Excellent quality food and stellar service. I ordered catering and I got the works. Lasagna, ziti, pizza, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, fresh salads and dressings, zeppoli enough to feed 60 people! First of all I placed my order directly with the owner and he was great to deal with, (and he gave me a good discount on that huge order). Secondly the food was delivered right on time. Last but certainly not least 60 people loved the food! They were eating, asking for more and bombarding me with compliments on my taste in Italian food! Choosing Gino's made my event a huge success and months later, people still mention how good the food was. I could not have stumbled across something better. read more

Gino's is genuinely good pizza. Not my favorite on the island (that would be Sal's in Sayville) but definitely the best in Patchogue. The guys behind the counter are old-school grumpy and I'll take that from the old men but not the younger people - you guys need to put a smile on your faces. Seating is in back - it's clean, so let's all relax about it not being "inviting" enough.
