Our favorite pizza! We LOVE Rocco's! My kids are super sensitive to cheap ingredients. If they eat cheap cheese they get sick. Rocco's is the only place in town where they can enjoy a slice of pizza because they use such great ingredients. The service is always very fast and super polite. All around a wonderful place. I have been a customer every week ever since Rocco's opened. I know they are under new ownership. I called at 5:15 tonight and when they answered the phone told me to hold on but didn't put on actual hold, I could hear them in the background. He never came back to the phone, so I thought he forgot me. I called back on the other number and he did the same thing, put the phone on the counter and never came back to take my order. I decided to drive there to see what the problem was. When I walked in I saw that when the phone rang he didn't even pick it up he just simply hung up on who ever was calling. I asked why would he do that and all I got was "we are busy". I said that is not the way to treat your customers. He then turned away and went back to doing what he was doing. I left and decided to get food elsewhere. Sad, but not sure I will be going back. I hope the new owner sees my post and does something about this so he says in business. read more

I do not live in Patchogue. I live in Farmingdale but I come out here to drop my daughter off at her friend's house and I always stop here for a slice. Reason being is that since I first tried it, I became addicted! I have had pizza all over Suffolk ( when I grew up in that county) and all over Nassau ( since living over here for 16 years) and Rocco's is hands down one of the best regular pizza slices I have ever had. Consistently good. My wife and daughter are addicted to the penne a la vodka slices saying they are amazing. I highly highly recommend people trying this place for some slices. The owner charges for side order of cheese when you buy pasta dishes and then when you question him he gets an attitude. the issue I have is if i sat down to eat a pasta dish then I wouldn't pay for cheese. but this owner with the attitude just lost a customer and I have about 50-60 loyal friends that when I tell them they will also stop going there. hey Owner next time you don't need an attitude because of that you just lost about 60 customers. Ordered a slice of pizza, and saw the owner come barreling out the back enterance to yell and use profanity to a group of minors that were using their cell phones and waiting for a friend on the corner sidewalk of his store. He countuined to yell and curse at these kids as they were very polite and said that they were waiting and they would be leaving shortly. When he continued to use profanity at these kids I told him it wasn't appropriate. He told me to get off his property, since I'm not a customer. Even though I was on the sidewalk and had a slice of pizza in my hand. He threatened to call the police on all of us, and then called me a fat Fu*k. Because of this interaction I threw away the slice of pizza as I did not want to have anything to do with this business. I wanted to reward my staff for their hard work so I decided to try Rocco's. I ordered 3 plan pies over the phone. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, which I thought was good time. When I arrived at Rocco's I noticed no parking lot, they just had street parking, but that was fine. It's a small building, but they keep it very clean, which is understandable that a place this small is easy to maintain. When I walked up to the counter I noticed other slices that looked great! I will be back to try them when it's just for me. They also had the pies ready in 15 minutes, like they said, which is huge because it means they honor the times they quote. When I left with the two bottles of soda and 3 pies I went back to work. I couldn't wait to try a slice. After trying one slice I thought this is a place I could come back too! Hidden Gem of Patchogue! When you mention pizzerias of the Pat-Med community, several are frequently mentioned. But you rarely hear about Rocco's on 112 I have no idea why. They boast a delicious variety of specialty pies ranging from the standard stuff to exotic like chicken chipotle or Hawaiian. I've yet to try anything I didn't like including heros, salads, sausage pepper and onion "pizza pops" and of course their delicious pepperoni wheels. They make a mean Sicilian pie and they've got a $4.95 lunch special which is 2 slices (regular, Sicilian, or grandma) and a 16 ounce fountain soda. That's tough to beat for a $5 lunch. They even have both Coke and Pepsi products. As great as the food is, the service is equally awesome. The employees are always friendly and in a good mood. That positive attitude goes a long way. The finest example I have seen of this is when I came in with the special needs individuals that I work with in the Patchogue community. Some of my guys are indecisive, inexperienced with managing their money, and struggle with social courtesies. The fellas at Rocco's were beyond helpful and polite to them. It's very easy to get frustrated with people especially in the fast paced environment of a busy pizzeria. But the dignity and class that the two gentlemen that work the lunch shift showed to my students was something I will never forget. This was just an added bonus. Found this place on Yelp while in a snow storm in Patchogue, don't be fooled by the appearance of the store, (very clean) not a very fancy or updated pizzeria, but the friendliest and great place to order Italian. We had the chicken parm dinner & chicken marsala both with a side of linguine and penne with garlic & oil (both great). Rice ball was fabulous as was the Sicilian pizza. Great sauce and cheese and a perfect crust.
