Deep Dish Pizza was very good. Went on a Monday eve and waited 1 hour for table. Pre ordered our Pizza and that took 1.5 hours. So plan ahead if you are going. Navy Pier is nice to walk around while your waiting. read more

This was my first time visiting Chicago to see family son naturally I had to go to Giordano's and this location was awesome! Our server David was wonderful! Great Chicago deep dish pizza, but terrible customer service. The host wasn't courteous, as if he was only doing us a favor. The waitress was clueless. She offered cranberry juice to my bff, but then came back 10 minutes later to say that they didn't have any. I asked for a cosmopolitan, but she came back to tell me that the bartender said that he can make a cosmo but it won't taste the same. I didn't take a chance with that drink. The host suggested that we order the pizza before our table was ready because it takes longer than the other food. The table for 4 on a Saturday night took 1 hour, pizza took another 30 minutes, and lasagna & spaghetti took another 30 minutes. Next time I will order everything before the table is ready because service is too slow. We all enjoyed our meal. I ordered a small (6 slices) deep dish pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. The pizza was delicious, full of flavor, plenty of cheese. Three slices filled me up. I would recommend the restaurant but not this location. We walked pass the hostess and another staff member, and they didn't even acknowledge us with a thank you or goodnight! read more

Get the authentic Chicago Pizza! The deliciousness at it's prime. I usually don't prefer barbeque sauce but here it's very very delicious. Loved the cordial behaviour of the Giordanos people. I specially appreciate Una who was the host for our table, was amazing in hosting throughout and her sponteneous jovial behaviour made our dinner worth remembering. Since it at the prime location at Navy Pier, one should expect at least 20 minutes waiting time during peak hours. read more

I'm not here to complain but I am here to inform that. I had a 40 min wait and during that 40 minute wait we had are pizza ordered so we'd be able to sit and not wait too long. Welllllnit started raining so we decided to move to the table right next to us. An hour later the manager comes out and tell us our food was all canceled because our waiter thought we left cuz of the rain now at this moment I was pissed. In all we spent abt 3 hours waiting for our food and 1 hour being able to eat it. We were literally the last table to leave the patio that night. Although we got terrible service and waited forever for our food I was not disappointed by the food very very good food and on the plus Will helped us and took care of everything. Visiting Chicago from out of town and this was not a good choice. NOT GOOD! BAD SERVICE! We were first told it was a 20-30min wait, then got seated right away. No time to pre order our food. We sat there for about 20min and no one came over to take our drink orders, food orders, nothing. Then when a server finally came over, not a great attitude. I wasn't sure I was going to like Chicago style stuffed pizza. While waiting, they have you looking out over the dining room. I think the purpose is to make your mouth water in anticipation for your food, and order more. Cool thing is that you can pre-order your pizza if there is a wait, since pizza takes about 40 min to make. So, by the time you are at the table and get your drinks and apps, your pizza is ready. We ordered the sampler and calamari and cheesy bread to start! The cheesy bread is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Calamari very good too! Then, a large meat pizza for 5 adults. As a cheese lover, I always wished that my local pizza parlor would add more cheese to their pizza! So, I was so happy to find 1/2 inch of cheese stuffed into the pizza. This pizza is like a backwards pizza, a super yum crust, then some meat slapped on the crust, and then the 1/2 inch of cheese, some tomato sauce and topped with more meat. After a couple glasses of wine, and all this food, I am not sure I can get up, or button my jacket to confront the Chicago cold! But well worth the few extra pounds I've accumulated with this mean! read more

Extremely understaffed for a Tuesday at lunchtime. I should not get pizza sauce stains FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S FOOD on my shirt right when we sit down. Had to wait 15 mins for a server to greet us and when I went to inquire at the host stand, nobody was there. Somebody should be at the host stand at all times, regardless of what's going on. Drinks (2 waters) took another 10 mins. Who I believe to be is the busser, was the only one who brought food out and took dishes away. If that's really the busser, they should only be doing work after we left. He did half of the server's job. Props to him but I'm sure he doesn't get paid for doing two jobs at once. Server came by once to ask how the appetizer was, after we were already done. Some of this may have been due to our server being sat so many times in a row, not sure if that is miscommunication by the server or the host. I would give 0 stars for the service but I'll give 2 for the food being good. Worst giordano's in existence. Sorry not sorry for the super long dramatic review but honestly it was that bad. UPDATE: As we were leaving, we overheard the manager talking to another table about the same server forgetting to put their pizza order in over an hour ago. They were here before us and are getting mini deep dishes as we are walking out. Lmao this place is an actual mess. read more

Tasty pizza, had the stuffed with sausage cheese and extra garlic. Warning, it's stuffed with a lot of cheese, more than I am used to. However, still very good. Surprising good salad too. We showed up at 10:30 and the bar closes at 11. The waitress never told us this or came around for last call so didn't have a beer to wash the pizza down with (which takes 45 min to cook). That was very disappointing but good pizza nonetheless. Still think Zachary's in Berkeley CA has better pizza though. :) read more

Tip: ask if there's bar seating if they have a long wait! My mom and I sat right down. The bartender (i.e., our server) was very sweet and helpful! We had the house salad and added breaded chicken, plus a pizza of course. The salad was fantastic and the chicken shockingly delicious (I was kind of expecting no better than chicken nuggets).
