After waiting 10 minutes to be seated (place wasn't that packed and they don't have someone dedicated to seating) a waitress finally acknowledged us (party of 2) and gave us a table. Unfortunately we waited 15 minutes and nobody came by so we decided to leave. We ran late for our original reservation and lost it (completely understandable and expected), but when we called to see how long the wait would be if we showed up now, the hostess willingly put us down on the wait list so that it would be time for us to be seated. When we arrived, we were seated within 5 minutes and quickly ordered. I want to give Brenda a huge "thank you!!!!" because she was absolutely amazing. She was always coming to us with a huge smile and positive attitude. She was very willing to accept our MANY requests (remember, 23 people!). And on top of that, the restaurant closes at 11, but our food didn't come out until about 10:55 because we ordered so much (about 8-10 deep dish pies). During my stay in Orlando, my friend really wanted Pizza, so we looked on Yelp for nearby places for delivery and this one popped up. Ordering was simple, since everything was online and they did deliver it to the place we were staying at. The delivery driver was very nice. He called me to let me know he was on his way and whatnot. When I greeted him at our location, he was also very kind in ensuring we got what we paid for. We ordered the Chicao Style Thin Crust Pizza. It was very delicious and hearty. The cheese layer on top held all the toppings that were below, which included the mushrooms and pepperonis. Because of how thin crust it was, you can eat it with a knife and fork or just use your hands. Regardless of how you choose to eat it, it was a delicious pie to share with my friend. Overall, it was a very good pizza. Even the next day we had leftovers, eating it cold was still satisfying. I would order from here again. read more

If you like deep dish Chicago style pizza, give this place a go! They are in a strip plaza at the corner of Universal Blvd and Sandlake Road. The parking lot is large and it's easy enough to get in and out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated quickly. They have paper menus and it's easy to navigate. We opted for a large deep dish to split between four adults (it was more than enough!) and we did a sausage, onion and mushroom. The deep dish pizzas take about 35 minutes to cook, so be sure to allow time. They so have a kid's menu and we got our little the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was out quickly and she loved it. Restaurant itself is clean and they are distancing tables. All staff was wearing masks. Overall: A A great pizza joint in the Universal / I-Drive area. It's worth noting I'm not a fan of deep dish and am from New York/Connecticut, so pizza up to par with what I'm used to is definitely challenging to find. If you're not picky at all about pizza, this place is decent. This pizza was comparable to what you'd find at theme park or arcade probably. The crust is the worst part about the pizza: flavorless and not fresh. I didn't try any of the other food they had besides just a cheese pie and a bite of a deep dish. Oh, il mio amore! I FINALLY got around to trying Giordano's on my cheat day DELISH. Honestly, who doesn't want a pizza with a deep dish crust and STUFFED with ooey gooey cheese?! I got the order delivered. I loved that the crust still was flaky and toasty upon arrival- a lot of deep dish pizzas are soggy by the time you get to eat it at home. Not this yummy pizza! I gave them 4-stars because I also ordered the calamari and wasn't that satisfied with it- it was okay and curbed my craving, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I didn't quite understand the deep-fried lemon rings that came with it, and had quite a few of them in my order. But I will most definitely be ordering pizza from Giordano's again! read more

Having been to Giordano's in the Chicagoland area, I know they're a big name in the deep dish pizza game. Having had amazing experiences at locations in the past, I figure I'd give their Orlando location a fair shake to see if they could replicate the deep dish pizza magic. Sadly, much like most Florida pizza, it was a cheap imitation. The decor at this location is nice and inviting, but there is virtually no vibe or atmosphere once seated...it's almost as if you're in a cafeteria trying to bide the time while 45 pass for your deep dish pizza preparation. The cheesy garlic bread (2/5) was merely passable, with very small hints of garlic. It wasn't bad, but it just was very expensive and unmemorable for what you get (runs to over a dollar for each small rectangular wedge). We ordered a medium cheese deep dish pizza. In hindsight, I should have ordered a small since it was simply too much food. If you're on the fence about a size to order for deep dish pizza, I'd recommend sizing down. The cheese deep dish pizza (2.5/5) came out in about 40 minutes which was pretty close to the 45 minute estimate. There was cheese oozing out where the slices were cut, which had me hopeful for great deep dish. Even though loaded with massive amounts of cheese as a proper deep dish should have, the cheese was majorly underwhelming and plain tasting. The crust had virtually no flavor and even the tomato sauce on top seemed like an afterthought dried up and without much flavor. Sure, it'll fill you up, but the quality just wasn't there. I don't mind an occasional heavy meal if it's fulfilling, but this was heavy and average at best. I've had much better and more flavorful pizza when it comes to sauce, cheese, and crust at my local Pizzeria Uno's. Maybe I visited this location on an off night, but it definitely didn't live up to the quality of Giordano's locations in the Chicago area. Our waiter was friendly and happy, and was on top of his game in drink refills, so based on his service, rounding up to 3 stars despite a lackluster pizza experience. read more

Omg! Home of the deep dish pizza in Orlando! The outside was inviting and so so inside the dining area. All the staff was friendly and smiling. Which lead me to believe they love their jobs. I saw co-workers engaging in conversation and helping each other out. Mom orders for us... pizza, chicken Alfredo, mozzarella cheese sticks and salad. All of it was just so OnO! Visited Chicago for the first time and was eager to taste the deep dish pizza. The calamari was good. They had fried lemon as part of the dish. What was most disappointing was the reception with the hosts who were wearing the red Tshirt. We went up the stairs and I tried to avoid the other patrons leaving . The staff were very rude in their interaction with me. They rudely told me to get out of the way and though I tried to explain I am avoiding contact with customers that were leaving they didn't stop their verbal assault. We didn't really have to wait for a table when we arrived but I did have to ask for our table to be switched from the enclosed outside area to inside air circulation was bad and it was pretty hot in there. Because we ordered a deep dish it took 45 minutes or so to get our actual order. They were super busy and definitely seemed short staffed. They got busier after we got there . We finally got our food it fell a little short in the flavor department but we managed . The thin crust margarita pizza wasn't my favorite tasted to much like Parmesan. I love pizza. New Haven has the best pizza, then Chicago, then all all other places. This place actually has both a thinner crust and the deep dish. I went with the deep dish because it's hard to find where I live. It takes a little longer so make sure you are not in a rush. The 3 of us shared a medium and we still had 2 extra slices! They had individual size pizzas too so that may be a good option if you can't all decide on the same toppings. I really enjoyed my pizza and the service was excellent. read more

The staff were absolutely terrible. I had to wait nearly THIRTY minutes to get my water refilled. I had a single refill in over an hour or being at the restaurant. The pizza was the most mediocre pizza I've ever had. My server said it was ready and then ten minutes later bright it out to me - not warm at all. It got cold by the time I ate four slices then I asked for a box from a different waiter to take it to my hotel so I can heat it up... I never even got a box. The entire pizza as well was very undercooked and the cheese was like plastic. It all stuck together like a frozen pizza. The crust was crumbly and more like a cracker than some actual good crust. This is the single worst pizza establishment I have visited East of the Mississippi. It is the worst pizza I have had in the past few years. I will never come back here. Fire your staff. read more

We also ordered the famous cheesy garlic bread. The one thing that was a let down is the service. Our waitress was really busy so she couldn't attend to us frequently, but there are other waiters/waitress/host that could of helped out. Unsure why they wouldn't let a hand and help each other.
