I get it's "uncomfortable" but that's just careless servicing food and breathing all over it during a pandemic is ridiculous aside from violating state laws for restaurants. Love everything at gios! As a Hampden resident I'm a regular both for dining in and take out. The bar is a small place perfect for a quick bite and some drinks. Their gluten free pizza is great. I stopped here while I was traveling through MA based on the yelp review and I'm glad I did... this pizza is outstanding! I stopped in to discover that not only to they sell pizza by the slice, but the slices are HUGE and the prices are very reasonable. There were lots to choose from and the people behind the register were SO nice... they even threw in a side of extra sauce to dip the crust in for free. Flavor is robust and the crust is light and airy. This will certainly be a stopping point again when I come through this area. Highly recommend! read more

So, they're pizza is amazing BUT you have to ask them to brown the cheese (well done) otherwise it's really gooey and gloppy. I'm just not into that. But if you ask for it well done it's so delicious. The grinders/pasta/everything else on the menu is really good too. Slices aren't that great though. This place might be "The Holy Grail" of pizza joints. lets face it...most pizza places are let downs....just ordinary....fill you up when you are hungry. that's it. NOT so here. This mainly take out spot makes delicious pizza. the ingredients taste great..even the crust(nice and thick) taste really fresh. The mozzarella was flavorful as were the sausage...hamburg and pepperoni toppings. You pay a little more here for your pizza...but it seems worth it to me! we tried the garlic knots..and they are to die for! each order comes with marinara dipping sauce...OMG! the young ladies out front are really nice and friendly...guys in the back making the pizza seem like artists creating a masterpiece. no smiles..all business! Next time will try some lasagna,ziti dishes and grinders...but for right now..i highly recommend the pizza pie. read more

Gio's is my new favorite for pizza & grinders. Pizzas are LARGE & delish. Good crust and sauce. Many toppings to choose from & they don't skimp. Garlic knots are a must try. Love this place and their pizza is amazing...but...ordered a pizza at 4:15 in the afternoon hoping to have an early dinner for our kids and after 2 hours and 45 mins and multiple phone calls, still no pizza. We were told there was an error and told they were re-making it and told the driver was close by... at this point it took 3 hours to finally get our pizza and they still charged us full price. The pizza was also partially smashed in the box. So sad. read more

Food quality is excellent but man they fall short on getting things right - got home amd had wrong pizza. Another time they said 45 minutes on pizza i was picking up - a weeknight with very slow appearing restaurant - I still had to wait longer than 45 while I overheard phone conversation from a guy who got wrong stuff delivered, while another guy called on other line wanting to know where his food was. I have no idea how they seem so confused all the time. While the food is good, I rarely visit because it simply pisses me off to go there read more

I feel their pizza is way overpriced. Ate there once, it was pretty good but not THAT good.

the food isn't that good but that's not the worst part, the restaurant owner is rude and yells at his staff in front of customers for simple mistakes. There was a newer employee working the front desk who was cashing me out and there were a few people waiting and he yelled at her because there were multiple people waiting to pay for their food. the way he treats his staff is disgusting and i never want to spend money here again. read more

After living in Hampden for 2 years my wife and I finally went in to Geos. Now, after 2 years of frequenting Geo's and having about everything on the menu I can say that Geo's Pizza is amazing. The food is Always Fresh, Always hot, and Always Amazing! The portion sizes are incredible! I was tired of going out to restaurants because, as you would expect, my wife's cooking is better than most restaurants. Came here on a date night with my husband. Ordered a pizza and a couple of drinks. The kitchen was running behind and the manager came over to the next table to let them know that the kitchen was running behind and the pizza would be out a little later. He offered them a drink on the house even know we ordered before them. Never even turned around to say hi to us. The food was good but will not be returning. read more
