Food was pretty decent but I couldn't help but notice that all of the POC were seated in the back room away from the main dining room. Even though every one was abiding to the dress code and dressed very well and presentable. Didn't find the main bar staff to be friendly either. Since our table wasn't ready we were instructed to sit at the bar and were not greeted or acknowledged for quite a long time which ultimately made us not want to order any drinks from the bartenders. We decided to order everything once seated(in this secluded area) not sure if it was purposely but seeing another reviewer had the same experience months prior I guess my suspicions were true. I came here a few months ago to celebrate my birthday with friends and it was great. The food was really good and the ambiance of the restaurant is truly gorgeous. I enjoyed the lobster spaghetti and calamari I had. My friends also enjoyed their meals. And the restaurant even gave me a little treat to celebrate my birthday! The service was good. The only thing that was kind of a downside is they were requiring that allll 8 guests be present before sitting. One of guests were running super late and wouldn't be there anytime soon. I informed the hostess of this but still insisted on the policy. And finally after about 20 minutes of waiting at the bar, we were seated without my friend who was running late. I did feel like the service was rushed too. Which in this case was not our parties fault as we wanted to sit but could not. Overall, I would come back. Maybe not with a party more than 3-4. The place is nicely decorated and they had an amazing dj (on Wednesday)! We went there to celebrate my friend's birthday! They had miami spice for $60 per person what is reasonable for that place. I ordered steak tartar (it was ok) maybe more condiments would be better. Fish branzino was amazing! The presentation of the "pearl" dessert was awesome but the dessert was a little heavy for me. Server and server assistant were professional and attentive. It's nice to go there once in a while to have some drinks or to celebrate something, the atmosphere is nice there! Beautiful place! Highly recommend!! We had the seafood tower and chefs center piece and all I can say is wow. So many different flavors literally exploding in your mouth. Delicious! Our servers name was Laura and as a server myself (with high expectations) she was one of the best servers I've ever had. She was so amazing, very knowledgeable about the menu, had amazing recommendations, super sweet and very on point. Not once did we have to ask for anything. Our sever Andrew I believe his name was told us about the fresh seafood but my parents who I was visiting are not really fans lol. But he recommended some Kobe beef dumplings that were INSANE GOOD!!! He told us he had some sushi rolls but not fish. They were like little ribeye pieces 10 out of 10! We all split a skirt steak and New York with a side of chimichurri recommended by Andrew and were all blown away by the quality of the steaks perfectly cooked and the walking Mac and cheese they have I think it's called. Not sure why but it was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. We were too full for dessert there but took a real gold peanut butter dessert that was a late night treat I'm glad we ordered. I had not heard much about Giselle but the menu is what brought us in and also that it is a roof top restaurant. It is located on top of e11even so it seems like you are going to the club but there is an elevator next to it that you will take in order to get to the restaurant. It is really beautiful inside the dining area, it is very elegant and I loved the ceiling and all the white. The "outside" was covered when we arrived since it was raining but it opens up and you are able to get a sky view. We were seated right away and our waiter helped us from the start. He was very professional and paid attention to detail. He was able to give us great recommendations and great descriptions of the menu items. He recommended the drinks we ordered based on what we liked and we were happy with his suggestions. The drinks were amazing and were got more than one since it was so good. To start with we got the mushroom escargot which tasted just like escargot. And the steak tarter was made tableside and was really fun to watch. For the entrees we ordered the branzino and skirt steak. Both really well prepared and very tasty. The side of pomme purée which was delicious and creamy. The best part was the dessert which we decided to go with since we both love chocolate. It did not disappoint! It had different textures that made every bite exciting.
