They replaced my water heater and brought everything up to code in May. The other day I called because I had bought some sink faucets I thought I could replace on my own, but quickly found out that my faucets were so old I would not be able to do it in my own. I called GL Plumbing again and they were to my home within the hour. He ended having to cut the old faucet off and replace the valves but he never charged me extra from what he quoted. These guys are great. I've had 3 unrelated plumbing problems with my 30-year-old home in the last year and this is my go-to plumber. Cody is honest and reliable: he is happy to give us a complete work list so we can price shop, but he costs much less than the big plumbing outfits we've compared with. I called him out for a second opinion today because I was told I had root penetration in my sewer line. He did a much more thorough inspection than the first plumber, found a much more likely cause of the clog I pulled, and saved me $3000 of unnecessary work. The latter experience was even better than the first; called mid-afternoon, and even though it was not an emergency for me, he said he was in the area and could stop by in an hour. Had a leak in one of the piping. did some search on yelp, saw a great review so i figure i give him a call. Came out the next day (which was Sunday), did a leak detection which was awesome because he didnt have to strip the floor. Found the leak, and did work on it the following day.. Did an amazing job, house was clean, and all parts replaced were high end quality parts. Also he replaced our hosing outside and the water doesnt leak at all anymore. Switched out all levers to a much better grade and easier to turn on and off. Does a great job in the amount of time he says it will take. Uses great parts and explains everything thoroughly. GL Plumbing found it on the internet when I was looking for a new heater. Called several plumbers, big companies with the 800 numbers came in quoting 2000 to 3000. really expensive and jsut looking to see how much they can get out of you. Small companies, did not answer the phone. I had called 2 other plumbers as well to get a rough estimate for how much the work would cost, and GL's quote was the lowest. He was very polite and professional. He explained the problem very clearly and gave a fair estimate. He estimated 2 hours for labor and explained that it might only take 90 minutes. He only needed 90 minutes and charged me for 90 minutes. I was also able to pay with my Visa, which was very convenient. My experience with this company was very positive. I had several fixtures that were rusted and corroded in both bathrooms. He replaced all of the old fixtures, cleared a blockage on my dishwasher drain hose and fixed 2 toilets. Cody, and his associate Anthony got all the work done in 3 hours. They cleaned everything up when done and Cody made sure I was able to review all the work in case I had any questions or concerns. HOWEVER, we soon figured out that a big scam was about to go down with Cody and Rich of the Water Damage Restoration Company (Cody is 50% owner of this company) they came in opened up walls, removed a toilet, pulled baseboards and backed out leaving a disaster in a home. Talked a good game, throwing out facts and figures, nervous talk like when you a kid is caught in a lie. Homeowners are seniors, one has COPD and the other is in the end stages of lung cancer.
