Honestly im not from this area, and k was out there visiting a friend due to the fires in LA, the female woman owner , was nice while doing my nails, i kinds didnt like the shape. I got gel x with gel polish, pedicure #2 with gel polish and powder on my big toe. Total came out to $130, plus i left $15 tip plus $3 charge for paying with card, okay so im leaving already in the car , the owner who did my nails comes out running, i thought i had forgotten something? She says i forgot to charge u $6 for calud removal, im like in shock she ran to tell me this, specially since its my first time i left a decent tip and might u not i had already payed $148, she asked for cash i said i had non, than she runs back for venmo, like doing the most for $6 than she waits till the venmo goes through, i should have said discount it from the tip at this point ‍ she lost a good customer because i will be in the area alot more now, and i will not be coming back to this place, u can rate my nails urself, they are not all that read more

My 1 star is strictly for the pedicure that was great and nicely done by a sweet lady. My manicure unfortunately I cannot speak of as highly. It was really disappointing and unappealing. I got TAP gel nail because I wanted to try it out and have heard good things about it. The color options are really nice and they have a good amount to pick from. I did not get extensions (offered) since my nails were a nice length. The process seemed pretty straight forward and was actually very fast. The reason for my review is because I was not satisfied with my nails. They are very bulky and thick, about 4 of the nails were crooked, and some of my nails on top look wavy. I called to notify them if I can go back to get them fixed and I did. When I came in to get them fixed, I mentioned to her (same woman who originally did my nails) that there were some that were really crooked and they're really thick I'm not sure if that's how TAP is supposed to be or not, but they're really thick. I noticed that other pictures posted on Yelp of a TAP manicure were nowhere near as thick as mine. I got the crooked nails and waviness fixed to a certain extent, still very wavy and uneven, and still crooked, but slightly better. (No I do not have crooked nails I've been here before for sets and they did a great job). I was hoping they would fix the thickness too, but my nails are still thick and unappealing. To pay $60 for something that made me leave sad and really discouraged about my nails really sucks. To top it off they cut me 4 different times on 4 different nails. One that bled and that she continued to go over with the tool a few times despite me jerking my hand away due to the discomfort of the pain. The whole situation was very upsetting and I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Update: I haven't had time to post an update since I'm pretty busy. I talked to the owners husband, who was the one that responded below and at first they didn't apologize, just tried to justify what the nail tech did. It's okay to drill off product but not drill into people's nail beds, then they started to get apologetic. Please go somewhere else, Gelly Nails is a new nail place in La habra and I went there after and she took care of my nails really well. I came here for gel removal and manicure with no color for my job and the lady completely ruined my natural nail bed! I'm so sad because I spent a long time growing these nails and she just butchered them with her drill. I should have spoken up about her doing a proper soak off but that's my fault. This is what I get though. My nails are paper thin and now they are so sensitive. They don't care about your nails unless you're doing something expensive. read more

I have been looking for a new nail spot and I was just driving down the street and noticed the green salon sign and decided to stop and check it out. This is the best blind find I've had in a while. I wanted to remove my current acrylics with a soak and get a gel manicure, pedicure. Sandy was my manicurist and Cindy did the Pedi. Sandy was very patient and gave me the best neck/back massage which was unexpected. I forgot the name of the service combo but it was the 1 above a regular basic mani/pedi. Sandy was so patient with the acrylic removal and paid attention to details to make sure not to hurt me. She attempted to save as much of my natural nail as possible when I told her I wanted a round, not square shape. The pics may not look like a big deal but it is for me. It's hard to find a good manicurist who actually listens to your concerns. Finally the Pedi. Cindy did so good! I unfortunately did not show up with good nails. My toe nails were frail, breaking and I needed a lot of cleanup. I don't want to post my toes on here but just know they look 1000xs better than what I walked in with. Cindy is such a boss, she took care of all of it and was super gentle. She didn't hurt me once. Honestly, this was the most relaxing experience I've had in a while. I'm definitely coming back, this may be my new regular spot. As far as costs, it was around 105ish I believe. Wow I am loving this new place!!!! I went in on a random day and luckily they were able to seat me right away! I always get the same thing. Gel mani and gel pedi and it was so relaxing. First time coming here, I really like the atmosphere. I came for a pedi and it was just okay. The tech was about to paint my toe nails when I asked her if she was going to at least clean the cuticles. She gave me RBF and was very bothered that I asked. This was my first time here. Service not bad at all, they treated me well from that perspective. However, I won't be going back, they left a bad taste in my mouth.. I feel like I was intentionally overcharged. I didn't complain about anything or ask for anything extra. They charged me extra $15 for gel mani, but they charged an additional $15 for gel pedi. An extra $30 just for the gel. I actually questioned it but then just left and as I was driving home I thought about again just because it wasn't sitting well and I left a tip. I have no issues paying for a service I requested, that wasn't the point so I reviewed the website and it says an additional $15 for gel. Meaning it should be for both mani and mani. Which sounds about right compared to other nail salons. Didn't know gratuity was already added, it wasn't disclosed. read more

No nicks or cuts during the process which is hard to come by!!! Got a new gel technique called T.A.P Hybrid Gel, highly recommend if you have brittle nails, or tend to bite them like I do.
