Exceptional Service from John and the Entire Glass America Team I cannot say enough wonderful things about John and his team at Glass America. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. This is actually the second time we've had the pleasure of working with John and his team over the past few years. As any Jeep owner knows... it's a Jeep thing--they seem to have a magnetic attraction to rocks and pebbles! This time around, John, Geneva (his outstanding office manager), and Alfredo went above and beyond to make what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. We had an extremely demanding schedule, and they somehow found the exact OEM windshield I needed for my Jeep Wrangler while coordinating everything to fit perfectly within our limited availability. John took the time to personally walk us through the entire process, answered every question with patience, and even coordinated directly with our State Farm agent, Mike, whom we've worked with for decades. That level of customer service and communication is rare today. A special thank you to Alfredo, whose professionalism was truly outstanding. He communicated before arriving, provided a live tracker so we knew exactly when he would arrive (a huge benefit with Los Angeles traffic), showed up exactly as promised, and completed the installation with incredible precision and craftsmanship. We've now had the Jeep back for several days, and the workmanship is flawless. If I didn't know the windshield had been replaced, I would honestly believe it was the original factory installation. The fit, finish, and attention to detail are absolutely first-class. What impressed us most was the team's professionalism, efficiency, communication, and genuine commitment to taking care of their customers. They transformed what is normally an inconvenience into an outstanding customer experience. Hopefully, you'll never need a windshield replacement. Your shop was not open at 7am on 10655 W Vanowen St. I was at your location until 7:15 am and your front office was still closed. I had to call your 800 number to reach someone. The tech arrived at my house without any paperwork. Your shop had to email the forms. The tech injected epoxy into 1/8 inch diameter glass chip. Several hours later a Crack formed. I was told a new windshield was required. I purchased a diy windshield repair kit and fixed the Crack myself saving the $279 fee for a new window. I am very disappointed with your services. read more

I will say that glass America is a Nationwide company from what I understand and I'm not sure this is the franchise so I want to be up front about that. But their customer service is appalling and beyond atrocious. I made an appointment 2 days before I never got a return call to tell me when the guy was coming. I made three calls. I threatened everything to try to get them to show up. Finally, I just canceled them and went somewhere else. Like I said, I'm not saying something about about this particular franchise of Glass America, but Glass America is horrible and I would not recommend them. read more

Left with window in, but lift gate couldn't open. Interior trim not put back, and had to return proves he took with him. I fixed the lift gate and reinstalled the trim myself. Won't be using these folks ever again. Would have been a three star if someone had just apologized for the hassle. read more

Was referred to Glass America from my insurance agent at State Farm. They have an arrangement to bill thru the insurance company vs having to pay the full amount up front. They have a great CRM system that provides you email and text updates and reminders. Setting up the appointment was quick and easy, they ordered the OEM/Audi replacement windshield, and had it installed and recalibrated the sensors. Oh i was also happy that they removed/saved my fast pass window sticker and transponder and had them re-installed on the new windshield for me!! Would definitely recommend Glass America. read more

Horrible experience. Wrong glass ordered, 14 days for another one and the temporary window patch job with cardboard and painters tape blew off of the freeway within an hour. Both of them. Extremely unprofessional and ridiculous company. We were assigned to them by our insurance for glass repair. On the day of the first appointment, he tech called once from an unrelated number and left no voice message before leaving. We rescheduled, and we're told a rep would be out the following day between 11am-3pm. Day of, we check our messages at 10am and see a text from their tec from 9am saying "I'm here". Two hours before the appointment window even started, the tech had already come and gone. Meanwhile, our back windshield has been shattered and our car undriveable while we wait for these guys to make their appointment. We called in to ask if they'd have another tec out. Spoke to a manager who was a very incompetent and boorish woman that acts like child. She started out unhelpful, rude and acting like we did something wrong. Then she escalated to saying the claim was cancelled and hanging up on us. When I called back in, I could actually hear her screaming and raging in the background. Such embarrassing behavior from a grown woman. These people aren't up to the task of overseeing a business. I wouldn't trust them to babysit a pet hamster for a few hours, let alone work on my car. read more

Great experience, I originally tried to get an appointment with the "S" guys, they were talking about a week or more. Glass America was next on the list. One call and a representative had me send photos and a appointment was scheduled. The technician was there the next morning. Unfortunately what I thought was an easy repair turned out to be a double hit (two impacts very close together) the technician explained the repair process and it became obvious that the windshield needed to be replaced.
