I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but it was kind of a miss. We went with a of the party of six to celebrate a birthday. My biggest problem was that the food was inconsistent. The grilled octopus and the Crudo were delicious. My husband said the pork chop was one of the best ones he's ever had. The rest of our entrées were severely underseasoned. Everything from the fish, the filet, the mashed potatoes, and the vegetables needed salt. This was especially disappointing since the place is a bit pricey. We had to ask for salt to properly season our meals. I would definitely try it again to see if it's better.

Parking 5/5 -plaza parking lot with plenty of spots Service 5/5 -friendly staff and thorough service, checked up on table and refilled water, adjusted silverware after order(steak) Food 5/5 -lobster roll $32, generous amount of lobster and perfectly toasted bun that's soft but a sturdy vessel, cucumber salad was refreshing but would love to see a bigger portion or more sides to accompany the main sandwich(maybe potato salad) -filet mignon medallions $46, comes with two medallions that were cooked to perfect medium rare as requested, elegant presentation, side veggies were great Ambiance 5/5 -came on a Friday night, mixed lively vibes of bar and dining area, medium dim lighting, perfect for dates if you don't want attention to your conversations; super clean bathroom and modern interior overall

Staff were super friendly and amazingly attentive! Plenty seating options and a beautiful bar/wine area, as well as a place where you can see the fresh oysters they have! Ordered a caesar salad, French toast, shrimp ceviche, as well as the waffles! Beautifully plated dishes, loved how fresh everything was. French toast paired perfectly with the coconut cream it came with! Waffles were standard and came with some crispy bacon. Shrimp ceviche was slightly too salty for my preference but still delicious flavor! Overall a cute place for brunch or some fresh seafood!

First time eating at Glasspar, and it was delicious. I loved the Glasspar Benedict. I had it with a crab cake, which was also delicious. The flavors were on point. One of the best crab cakes I've had in a really long time. The hollandaise sauce was good too, very creamy. Well balanced. The Aperol Spritz was so refreshing; it took me back to Italy. The Glasspar Margarita was also refreshingly good. Definitely worth going. Glasspar's address is 24961 Dana Point Harbor Dr., Dana Point, CA 92629.

The food and service at Glasspar were very good, and you can tell they take pride in their menu. The reason for 4 stars is that even with a reservation, we couldn't be accommodated indoors due to our baby stroller. It was especially disappointing because we were celebrating my birthday. Despite that setback, the staff remained polite and the meal itself was enjoyable.

Ambiance and service is very good. Food is mediocre. The clam chowder was quite bland. Not exactly New England chowder, but more of a non-clammy potato chowder. The cod was equally bland, but the sauce was very spicy. The lobster rolls are very small. More like a small dinner roll with a few small bits of lobster. Oysters Rockefeller. Not exactly the chopped/stuffed shell variety. A whole oyster packed with stuffing and baked. The special for the evening was sea bass on risotto. This was the star of the show. Great risotto with mushrooms. Overall the dishes were 4/10, but our server was very good 9/10.

Our first time here. Would definitely give a 4.5, great service by Kristen in the restaurant. I had the scallops and my husband had the fish and chips. Not huge portions but filling and very tasty. The scallops are a bit deconstructed but the sauce was good and they were cooked perfectly. Very nice wine selection. Also the restaurant is not loud, an issue with so many today. We definitely will come back for their flight night. By the scallops were much better tasting then the photo portraits.

Glasspar is a solid place to come for seafood. Me and my dining companions all ordered fish as our entrees. The fish was perfectly prepared, not overcooked, and the presentation was very nice. Prices are on the high side ($40 for fish entrees), but they all come with veggies and some sort of carb (udon, rice, glass noodles). We sat in the outdoor patio, which was pretty spacious. If you come during Happy Hour, they will ask if you are partaking in the HH menu and seat you accordingly. (The HH side was a little noisy, thanks to a large boisterous group. If you're looking for a more quiet meal, don't sit on that side). I don't recall seeing it on the menu, but there is an additional fee if you use a credit card. Parking in the lot.

Grilled octopus. Love.

We had some very nice small plates including the charred octopus, crudo scallops & hamachi. A dozen oysters. Favorite was the octopus with excellent sauce garnishes. Pretty !! Next best was hamachi crudo with mango vinaigrette, actually equally good. The oysters were standard, shelled well, fresh and sweet. Would like a horseradish garnish sauce/ garnish & Tabasco Sauce please. The scallop crudo was fresh but the citrus sauce did not complement well. Just a matter of taste. Beautiful ambiance. Our service was excellent, friendly not smothering.

Stopped in for a quick beer and oysters. Tried the oysters from Virginia and Washington. Enjoyed the Sting Ray Oysters more. The Glasspar beer was refreshing and light. Great service.

If you're hankering for a great seafood spot, Glasspar delivers. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered the octopus appetizer as my entree--and wow. It was incredibly tender, not rubbery at all, and surprisingly filling (my husband had to help me finish it!). The shrimp cocktail was fresh and flavorful, and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Bonus: they give free ice cream sundaes to kids on Sundays! Highly recommend.

First, there's the sophisticated bar, which is smoke-free and the perfect spot for high-end spirits and amazing cocktails (The Gov'ner Old Fashioned is a must-try!). The staff are welcoming, friendly, and always smiling! They've started adding some events to the schedule, like Whistlepig/Cigar tastings, Cajun Boil, Macallan tastings, and wine tastings. They're also introducing a late-night happy hour with food and live music, which is a great way to enjoy a sophisticated drink when most restaurants have closed in the area. The second part of the lounge is the two cigar lounges: the day lounge and the VIP lounge, which has lockers. Both lounges have high-end luxury seating and lots of screens for all your favorite sports. The staff keeps the lounges clean with friendly service. At the back, there's a walk-in humidor that's well-stocked with a great selection, including Davidoff, Padron, Opus X, Fuentes, My Father, Foundation, and Placencia, just to name a few. The Winston House stick blended by Placencia is an incredible stick for an exceptional price! Both lounges have a bunch of friendly regulars, so it's always easy to find conversation, or you can just relax and enjoy the moment! This place is a hidden gem that I consider to be the best cigar lounge in SoCal!

My friend and I greatly appreciated the attention to detail in the beautiful decorating that created a relaxing and plush ambiance. Comfy bar stools too. They do have a "nosh bowl" if you need a little snack, but I didn't try it. We had already read the rules, so we expected to come nicely dressed and planned not to use our cell. The overall vibe though tailored an older crowd and not so much people in their 20's. There were a lot of drink options but not a lot of of that sweet and fun that I prefer. It's more sophisticated cocktails. Some staff reminded me to not have my phone out when I was clearly taking a picture of the receipt for my friend and I and that was upsetting. How do you expect me to remember prices and what we ordered lol Also there is no snacks other than like nuts and cheeses.

She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone was having a great time. Her positive attitude and joyful spirit was infectious, Kiana was very sweet and attentive. She constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our time together while still feeling well taken care of. She also gave fantastic recommendations, and everything we ordered came out timely and perfectly prepared. One thing that really stood out was when I asked if they happened to have truffle fries, even though they weren't on the menu. She explained that they normally only serve them during happy hour, but she offered to check anyway...and to my surprise, she was able to bring them out for us! That small gesture meant so much and showed how willing she was to go above and beyond for her guests. To make the birthday celebration even more special, she brought out a beautiful tres leches cake with a candle so we could all sing happy birthday to my cousin. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the moment feel truly special. After we paid, we had the chance to chat with her, and it only confirmed what we had already experienced throughout the meal--she is such a positive, uplifting person. She's the kind of employee who lights up an establishment and makes people want to come back. We left talking about how wonderful she was, and she played a huge role in making our celebration so memorable. The food was just as amazing as the service. We started with the crab and spinach dip and the bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer, both of which were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start our meal. I ordered the Caesar salad with steak, and it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Everything we ordered came out fresh, timely, and exactly as expected. The parking is definitely limited, as I saw from other reviews on Yelp. On a Sunday evening it was very easy, however. The menu is fairly limited, and I wish they had a few more fish options, though the salmon I saw looked absolutely incredible. I had the chicken caesar salad. The chicken was a large portion, and so tasty. The dressing was SO good. They did forget dressing on both of our salads which was kind of annoying for a simple caesar (so we had to get a side of it). That being said, once we did get dressing, I seriously could've drank the stuff it was so yummy. They also scorch their tomatoes in the salad to perfection. I also tried the crispy tuna appetizer, which was surprisingly different from similar versions I have had at sushi restaurants (not in a bad way). The fish was very fresh and I would order this appetizer again. I think it came with five fairly small pieces (just so you know how many to order for a crowd). If you are feeling dessert, they have an incredible (and massive) butter cake!
