Really good donuts. Light and fluffy and not too sweet. Was on a hunt for Cambodian owned donut shop and found this place on Yelp. Gotta say it's legit. The apple fritter had lots of apple bits, my jelly filled was loaded. Kinda sad that they ran out of regular glazed donuts.
Smells fantastic inside. The shop layout and names of the donuts are creative. Ordered 3 donuts and they filled the empty spaces of the container with doughnut holes, which is the first time anyone has done that (thank you!). Ordered the Stranger Things and Strawberry Cheesecake donuts. Both tasted fluffy and sweet. Can see myself coming back.
I ordered 3 dozen donuts for an event recently & was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service & attention to detail that Glaze'n Daze provided. The workers were enthusiastic & helpful, even calling me to tell me that their plans had changed & I could come to pick up my order even later in the day (& closer to my event time) than we originally planned. That was extremely helpful. They gave precise instructions on how to properly store & transport the donuts & they also threw in a whole bunch of munchkins & other extras I didn't order! Very sweet! Although I couldn't eat the donuts (I'm gluten intolerant) I could watch everyone else enjoy them & live vicariously through them. They were a great hit. They were also GORGEOUS donuts - each one of them was a work of art! 3.5 dozen donuts was $120. For artisanal donuts like these, that's a great deal. I definitely recommend Glaze'n Daze Donuts for bulk ordering & special occasions.
I tried the Boston cream donut, delicious, as was the thick, very chocolatey frosting. Our first order that included the pineapple/coconut donut had great flavor, the second time though, it lacked a bit. The donut was still fresh and delicious. Strawberry crunch is another great flavor, especially the creamy strawberry center. Maple was good, too. We usually have them delivered but there have been no issues with service. Since we did get delivery, a great detail were donut holes between each donut, stopping things sliding inside and getting squished. Such a clever little extra taste.

Recently I had a orange glazed and it was one of the best donuts I have ever had. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and go the extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful visit. Their hours can be somewhat limited, and popular donuts usually sell out quickly, so it's recommended to visit early for the best selection.
Came here for the RI FOOD FIGHTS #BestDonutsRI competition after lunch. The first place we've been may end up the best. OMG, this place is worth the visit no matter where you live. Awesome selection, and if they are out in the case, she will custom make them for you. She even threw a few munchkins in the half dozen box for free. Awesome place for incredible donuts. Still the best fritter I've ever had! I was last here 4 years ago and I have yet to have a fritter this good. It's still only $3.09. The exterior is amazing, crunchy and the taste is excellent with a perfect glaze. A few places (Knead) sell "fritters" but they're just brioche donuts that look like a fritter on the outside. Fritters have to be thin and not formed before frying. I also got a hazelnut filled donut ($2.39) which had that nostalgic donut taste. It had a nice airy dough, but unfortunately they really slacked on that hazelnut filling. But the 2 bites with the filling were unbelievable. And thanks for the 3 free donut holes. Great prices and great donuts!
Yummm. I love this place! Everything you could want in a quick grab and go breakfast/coffee/donut shop. They obviously have delicious fresh made donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee; you know all the breakfast basics. The prices are extremely affordable, esp for the quality. Probably one of the only places that hasn't raised the prices too high after covid! I bought a half dozen of specialty donuts (honey glazed, fruity pebble, maple bacon, orange glazed, strawberry cream cheese and pb&j), it cost me $15 and they added little munchkins in it too. The donuts are made fresh daily, morning is the best time to go. The service is quick and friendly. I did not notice any dine in seating, the place is pretty small, but like i said great for grab & go. Definitely worth a try! :)
I attended an event and the organizer ordered Glaze'n Daze Donuts. I tried multiple donuts but the Maple Bacon stood out - it was the perfect balance of sweet & savory deliciousness.
The glazed donut is my Dave Portnoy of donuts. Soft, perfectly glazed and not too sweet. Not as good as others I have had but I would defintiely stop here again. My loss here... the pistachio milk donut. Sounds interesting. I've never had a pistachio donut before. It was empty net to the sign. I asked and he said he has more! He went in the back and returned with the donut. I know why he had more- He picked up a glazed donut and dropped it in the pistachio topping. It was oozing everywhere and I had to wait a long time for it to settle and it was still a mess. I can't comment further on the flavor as it was too sweet from already being a glazed donut! No te gusta. Basically diabetes.
I visited Glaze'n Daze early one morning to grab donuts for my office Christmas potluck. The donuts were light, not overly sweet, frosted, and some were even filled. A box of a dozen cost about less than thirty dollars, and they included doughnut holes as well. I really liked the maple bacon donut. Service was fast and friendly. I can tell that Glaze'n Daze is definitely a local favorite and sells out pretty fast. Ample parking was also a plus.

I spontaneously stumbled upon this donut shop today! The OG Glazed donut was so soft and simply amazing. The cold brew wasn't the strongest but still very good. I was very impressed with this place and I plan to come back and try other donuts very soon! read more

Yummmm!! Period! Less chaotic, a tad cheaper, and more homey than other fancy donut shops in the state, but still delicious! They added a few munchkins in my order for free. If you check in before you pay, you get a coupon for a free medium coffee. So, don't miss out! read more

Updating with added donuts: 2/5 (~2.5 for the donuts, 1 for the customer service experience) No line at 11:15AM on a Saturday. Pros: -Fun flavors -Light and fluffy dough -Parking -Nice interior -Online ordering (but not always guaranteed, even if you pay ahead--see notes below) Cons: -Dough has a bit of a fried aftertaste -Beware that website flavors are not always accurate as flavors seem to switch frequently and without warning -Customer service. On my first visit, their online ordering was down so I ordered via email (as suggested by the website,) and the first red flag was that I didn't get a response until I followed up 4 days later. The response was that we were all set. However, when we went to pick up the order, they said that they actually stopped making 4 of the 7 donuts that we ordered! I wish they had told us about this when I sent in the order with the email--no idea why they didn't! The salesperson was nice enough to throw in some munchkins for our trouble, but this was SUPER annoying, since we went primarily for the Old Fashioned donuts. A few weeks later, I saw that they started making Old Fashioned donuts again, which was extra annoying that I had missed them in that short period of time that I visited. So, I planned a second visit. Ahead of my second visit, I had placed and paid for an order via the website based on the listed flavors. I realized I put in the wrong pickup date and emailed to have it corrected, when I was then told that the menu was in the midst of being switched and they wouldn't have much of what I ordered. I wish the website wouldn't let you order if the flavors wouldn't be accurate for your pickup, but at least I got a slight heads up this time. However, I then had to wait a number of days and exchange several emails to find out what the new flavors were (each day being told they'd let me know the next day, then not following up in the time specified). Then, when we went to pick up the order, the salesperson said that they forgot to include one of the donuts we ordered and they were sold out. It's unfortunate because the people are not rude (actually very nice in person), but this customer service is just terrible! I hope it improves for people who live farther away (like me) and rely on order ahead systems, accurate info, and good customer service to lock in their donuts. -- September 2018 Menu: Plain Glaze Plain glazed yeast donut. This is definitely the best donut here. Super light and airy--a bit reminiscent of Krispy Kreme, though the glaze is not as good. Boston Kreme Yeast donut filled with vanilla pastry cream and topped with dark chocolate icing. The dark chocolate icing tasted better than the last time I tried it and the cream is now much lighter than the standard vanilla pudding it had been previously. Old Fashioned Tastes like a vanilla bean old fashioned. The glaze was a little too sweet for my taste, and the exterior wasn't crispy, but it wasn't bad. Creme Brulee Yeast donut topped with bruleed sugar and filled with vanilla pastry cream. Not my favorite, but I was so glad that this creme brulee actually had a crunch to it, unlike others I've had elsewhere! Stranger Things Yeast donut topped with Nutella and crushed Oreos. I mostly just tasted the Oreos, but my girlfriend loved this one. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Yeast donut with vanilla icing topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The cereal was crunchy, which was good. Vanilla Bean Chocolate Cake Plain glazed chocolate cake donut. This was a little chewier than we expected and the glaze was a bit too sweet. Strawberry Krunch Yeast donut with strawberry icing topped with crushed Nilla wafers(?). Strangely there's no crunch to this at all. Chocolate Hazelnut Glazed donut topped with hazelnuts and filled with chocolate buttercream mousse. On the order ahead page it's advertised as Nutella which it isn't. Super sweet. July 2018 Menu: Plain Glaze Plain glazed yeast donut. I loved the light and fluffy texture but not as much the taste/glaze. Circus Animal Cookie Dough Yeast donut with white chocolate icing and sprinkles, filled with plain cookie dough and sprinkles. I liked the texture of the "dough" inside but it didn't taste much like cookie dough otherwise--needs some salt! Good Times Yeast donut coated in cinnamon cake crumbs with a chocolate drizzle. I felt neutral about it. Boston Cream Yeast donut filled with Bavarian cream and topped with chocolate icing. The icing had a strange flavor and the cream was standard vanilla pudding. read more
So let's talk about the fact that all of these fancy hipster donut shops are in Providence...and then you have the ever so yummy Glaze n Daze in Johnston, with no need to stand in any crazy lines. I've only had the pleasure of having glaze n daze when it was delivered to us by a neighbor but since then I have started following them on social media (love how involved they are). They post the most scrumptious donuts. And they have contests and coupons/promos at times. You can also order ahead on their website. I really am a classic fan so I loved their classic glaze donut. It's that melt in your mouth, light and airy kind of donut. I can't wait to try some of the other donuts as well as bring some in for my coworkers. And my toddler approved of the chocolate covered with sprinkles! read more

The doughnuts here are so good! So light and airy, and with incredible toppings. Doughnut holes are the perfect little bites. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. And the coffee was perfect to wash down all the sugary treats! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Clearly very proud of their products and with good reason. Every item was meticulously made. I really wanted to like this new donut find, but I have to say I have had better donuts. Though the glazed were soft and pillowy, it left a funny aftertaste of old oil in my mouth. This was especially true with the highly acclaimed apple fritter. $14 for 6 donuts was a bit steep of which 3 were classic ones at $1.35 each. The owner was very nice and even threw in half a dozen glazed munchkins for free. I wish them well, but not my favorite donut place. read more

Run don't walk there. Some of the most airy donuts I have ever had. The glazed was everything you wanted in a traditional donut. The Crème brûlée donut was magical. It had a perfect crunch and creamy center. The prices were fair as well. If I recall a 1/2 dozen was about 12.99. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I will be returning. read more

Oh my, what an aptly-named donut shop. You will definitely be in a glaze daze after biting into these pillowy perfection confections. From apple fritters to the best Boston Creme, from Fruity Pebbles to Strawberry Cheesecake, these flavors are big. And so are the donuts themselves. Better do a few miles on the nearby Blackstone bike path, cuz these are worth every decadent bite. Friendly service and unique donut flavors in a clean, Covid-conscientious environment make this place a big win. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for months. I bought six different donuts (the two I tried were chocolate oreo and maple almond). They are so delicious, light and fluffy. I would definitely recommend trying this place and will be going back to try other flavors. read more
I was in area with my boys today so decided to stop by. My 16 year old got the apple fritter and strawberry crunch. He enjoyed both within 10 minutes. I don't even think he breathed while eating them. I tried the creme brulee with chocolate filling as recommended by employee, and the stranger things donut. The creme brulee was very different. It had your typical creme brule carmelized sugar topping and a rich chocolate filling. The stranger things is a yeast based donut with a chocolate hazlenut frosting. This was my favorite. The iced coffee is also very good although on the weak side. My youngest son is allergic to PN TN and I doubt anything was safe for him to consume so I stopped at DD on the way back to get him an inferior donut . Overall this is a great little shop. Donuts are fresh, staff is friendly, and prices are reasonable. read more

The place is awesome inside and the staff is very friendly. The donuts were sub par nothing extraordinary. The best donuts we had were the the chocolate hazelnut, the PB & J, Maple Bacon and the OG Glaze. The OG glaze melted in your mouth. The chocolate hazelnut was generously filled. We didn't care for the Boston cream. Overall not my first choice and I definitely wouldn't go back. Especially in Rhode Island they can't compare to PVDonuts and Knead. read more

I would like to say that I have no knowledge on how the filled donuts are now, in comparison to the previous reviews (since I didn't eat it). I also did not purchase the donuts myself, my friend bought a dozen for her family and I got to eat one of them. The donut I got to eat is the, Fruity Pebbles (FP) donut. I had eaten a FP donut before from a donut shop in California (in the Little Tokyo area). If I had to choose which one I would want to eat again, I would definitely eat the one in Glaze. I felt like I had more taste and crunch in my mouth than the one in Little Tokyo. Glaze's FP donut was a lot sweeter too. If you're not into your desserts being too sweet, I would say to avoid this one (but you should still try it!). I was also able to try their glazed munchkins. So delicious! They definitely put their hearts into this one. (My friend and her family really love the donuts. Much better than Dunkin Donuts they said.) read more
The donuts are fresh and creative. They come in an array of different flavors. They have many with your favorite type of cereal toppings. Fruity Pebbles!!!! The Apple fritter is the way to go. What a cute place! We got a sampling including the apple fritter, cinnamon bun, pb&j, Oreo crunch, and OG glaze. The pb&j was the best for me. The Oreo crunch was also awesome, but I wish it did not have the extra chocolate icing on it Bc that made it a little too sweet. The og glaze was reminiscent of an upscale krispie kreme, and was awesome. The cin bun was good, but nothing to write about. The only one I didn't like was the apple fritter- it tasted like oil...overall, a true neighborhood gem. read more

Glaze'n Daze Donuts are classic donuts gone wild. The donuts have a standard yeast base (comparable to Dunkin but definitely better!). I've had every donut here, and my favorites are The Chicken and Waffle Donut (Yes- it's a thing! And yes- it's delicious!), Ore-O-Crumbles, and the Batter Up. My friend also fell in love with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The flavors are so fun and untypical. They're colorful and flavorful. I've defiantly had better Maple Bacon donuts though- this one tasted like fake bacon. Their Fruity Pebbles isn't comparable to PVDonuts and their Strawberry Sprinkled fell a little flat (maybe because Dunkin has amazing Strawberry Sprinkled ones). I would also stick to the yeast donuts and not the cake ones. Lastly, their iced coffee is sooooooo good! I always get a large iced coffee with cream and vanilla flavoring. They use a perfect ratio of cream to coffee and the amount of flavoring is perfect. They also add a little sugar into it. Definitely a place to go for a delicious iced coffee and a nice donut to compliment it! read more

Great spot doughnuts are so soft and delicious. Love the deals you get when you sign up for text alerts. Only down side is the selection. Although they are so good theres not a huge selection. I loved the raspberry filled the most. read more
Glaze'n Daze is a little old school mixed with new. The style of the donuts is more along the normal, old fashioned donuts many of us have grown up on but the toppings are all very unique, decadent, some over top flavors that are amazing. We had gotten a half dozen and devoured them quickly. From glazed pumpkin to fruity loops there was a very big variety. I really enjoyed the consistency of the donuts themselves as they were soft and fresh and the toppings they used were all tasty. On top of that the young guy that served us was very nice and helpful. Overall it was a great find and I hope to return soon. I really hope people make their way out here to check these donuts out and keep supporting this small business! read more

Excellent donuts!! The glazed are your pretty standard, nice and fluffy, donut. But the strawberry shortcake and the creme brûlée are amazing. The strawberries were so fresh! And the creme brûlée really taste like creme brûlée! So good! read more
