I called Jack and lucky for me he said to come over in a couple of hours. He has a nice, bright office next to his house, not far from the freeway exit for Trader Joe's. He's so easy to work with--smart, personable and clear. He knew exactly what needed to be done. I have a backup service, but having done a backup install before, I knew that would take days. Jack took care of everything and had my laptop back to me that same day. There is nothing like the security of knowing your computer is only in the hands of one trustworthy person instead of sitting in a backroom, handed off to someone you've never spoken to. Also, Jack is an authorized Apple tech and his fees are fair. He also helped me choose the right router (I was about to buy something I would have regretted). I have told all my Mac friends about him so I thought I should get around to posting here. We tested the speed throughout the house (3floors) and while the speeds were decent we were not getting the 1gig internet we are paying for. He suggested we try his mesh system router and bam that was the issue. With the router we tested we got the full speeds. He suggested we move to a mesh system over a conventional router and that is what we will do. He didnt try to upsell his systems he instead gave great advice on which ones to purchase.
