I don't recommend Glendora Chevrolet to anyone looking to get quality service done. This dealership has made multiple mistakes and they try to blame the customer every time. I took my 2016 Suburban in for AC work 2 years ago, based on a TSB (technical service bulletin) from Chevrolet. They did the original work on the car, but we noticed the AC just wasn't blowing like it did before. After multiple attempts to get it checked, they decided we'd have to pay for more service diagnostics, we didn't agree and left. 16 months later, the AC quit working completely. We took it back to Glendora for a $150 diagnostic, which came back as the condenser (the part they "replaced" before). We told them our concerns, and they denied any wrong doing (although admitting if it wasn't fixed under the TSB, it would have been a warrantied repair, basically meaning if we paid for it) . We then offered to use the extended warranty (which bought this with our car at another chevy dealership), and they weren't interested in going that route. With a $1,200 quote, we took our car home and out for another shop to take a look. It came back the same problem, but unfortunately, showing Glendora Chevrolet made a bad repair to the part, instead of the remove & replacement they originally said they did. So Glendora Chevrolet not only refused to warranty their work and stand behind it, they don't do the work they bill for. They still haven't returned our calls for a resolution and Chevrolet Corporate isn't getting any responses from this dealership **update** Even though the "Sales R" automatic reply left their number, I've called it 4 times to resolve this matter, still no call back from the dealership or their leadership. Nice try to show you are responsive, but you still haven't resolved the issue or even called me back this latest time (let alone the numerous attempts for the last 4 months). In the meantime, my neighbor bought a brand new Chevy truck from this dealer and had it towed back within 6 weeks of purchase because it wouldn't start. The dealer told them it was a bad battery and tried to charge them for the battery, because "batteries are general maintenance, and not covered by any warranties." Really, a new truck, less than 2 months in my neighbors possession, and they have maintenance expenses?!? Once again, Glendora Chevrolet's Service department shows how they operate. read more

Charles King is awesome. I really liked his honest and non-pushy approach. Granted, it's the hubby who was purchasing so I was very much hands off. The finance guy on the other hand wasn't quite my cup of tea. I don't like pushy sales tactics with the whole extended warranty. Get the customer to say yes 3 times in a row tactic? Yeah, I noticed. Question the client on why you have other insurances and why would you NOT want this insurance to give you peace of mind and thus create doubt and anxiety in the person? Yeah, caught that one too! Edward answered and was very helpful so I made an appointment to drive 2hrs and pick one up the following weekend. I ended up being able to stop by sooner so Edward put me in contact with Abe (another Mgr) who would be there the day I was stopping in. When I arrived, Abe had both cars waiting right out side the showroom and greeted me warmly before introducing me to Paola who would complete the sale for me. After a test drive and Paola showing me some of the cool options in the car I decided to buy. My experience was 1st class and the whole sales team treated me like a family member before and after the sale. While I was waiting for the paperwork to be written up, I got a chance to ogle THREE of the new 2020 Corvette Stingray's that they had on display in the showroom. Took my company truck down to the service department because it has issues. Truck only has 20,000 miles on it and under warranty. Needed truck ASAP and asked service Dept to keep me notified so I can make arrangements. That never happened, especially after I called 4 times and left a v.m. Tranny is still skipping. They said they would look at my lights and they lied. Took the car the second time just so that they can tell me something different from the first time. So unorganized and unfortunately looks like the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. My husband and I went in to inquire about purchasing a new vehicle. When I met with the sales specialist I was very adamant about not running my credit until we were prepared to make a deal on a car. I specified multiple times I did not want my credit report run yet. When we met with the financier he was condescending at best. A check engine light revealed the engine coolant sensor had tripped. Glendora Chevrolet recommended replacement of the engine coolant sensor and two thermostats. The quote was $1800. It was it this time I learned my warranty had expired. I left and went to my regular mechanic. He recommended replacement of the engine coolant sensor and two diaphragms, exactly the same thing. The total cost, $383. That's a difference of just over $1400. Really? Glendora Chevrolet's price was ridiculous. I had looked at a video to see what Was involved. Unbelievable. read more

I purchased a used 2014 GMC. Love the truck, however, prior to completing the paperwork for purchase, I pointed out that one of the seats were broken. The seat was (temporarily) fixed within minutes by the sales manager only to fall off again days later. On top of that, my truck didn't include floor matts and I was told that it didn't come with the truck. Place is a joke. Made an appt. to get an oil change on my truck. They didn't even start on the truck until after over an hour and a half. Took over 3 hours for a oil change. Once they brought the truck back up front I opened the passenger door to find the seat soaked. Someone must of had the window down while they washed it. Hello All, I recently had my 2016 Silverado in for a recall and a check engine light that was on. I was greeted by Amanda who promptly wrote up my truck and introduced me to Armando my advisor. After the diagnosis I was called by Amanda stating that the cylinder #5 fuel injector was defective but the part was on backorder. With the recall completed I picked up my truck and was informed that I would be contacted as soon as the injector arrived. Well I had heard that before... But they proved me wrong I was called within a week and set the next appointment to have the injector replaced. The work was performed under extended warranty for the injectors and my truck was idling smoother than ever and I was getting 20mpg on the highway at 85mph that never happened before! The service department here really blows.... Like a $40 crackhead.... I brought my Chevy Volt in that threw a bunch of codes. Egr cooler and BECM that needs replacing. I dropped the car off on a Saturday of a long weekend. They said they would contact me about repairs and about getting me a loaner car since my vehicle would be under warranty. I had to call them on Tuesday and they said it was EGR cooler and that BECM needed to be replaced, but they also needed to replace the 2nd section of the hybrid battery. I asked why the section needed to be replaced, they said it has to be done when you replace BECM. This is completely false. I tried to explain to them that is not how you replace a BECM. They would not listen to me. I stopped by Tuesday evening to get my car and take it to a different dealer for a second opinion. They started work without my consent so I was not able to take my car. He said they already ordered the parts The service representative Michael Ramirez was very disrespectful and condescending. How dare I ask for a second opinion. He kept repeating "You are going against what me and my technician are saying!" I guess he doesn't know what a second opinion is. Especially when it comes to replacing a hybrid battery section.... So they were to call me the next day, Wednesday. No call, so I called them Friday. They were still working on it, and would call me when it was done. So I went in on Saturday, an hour after opening. I walked in and they said the car was done yesterday. One week in the shop and not one phone call. They never got back to me on a loaner car. Nor has the service manager returned any of my calls. I asked for a printout of the codes and they said they don't have it in the computer. I said that I would like them for the dealer I am taking it to. Then Michael said it would be in the Computer for them to look at. I then said, you just told me they aren't in the Computer. He kept going around in circles. He then said that he didn't order the parts because I was talking the car elsewhere. No, I want to speak to the manager please. *Click* dial tone..... Okay, my vehicle should be ready today (appointments made, parts were ordered 5 days ago). I call just after lunch time. We're busy we'll call you back...... Never called me back. I call an hour later. Yup, we're busy, we'll call you back you're next in line!..... Never called me back. I call 2 hours after they said they'd call me back. Sorry, the service advisers aren't picking up, but I'll have them call you back....... Guess what, never called me back. Okay, this is getting out of hand let me call the manager. "Sure, please hold". Click..... Dial tone..... I tried reaching out multiple times. I tried sharing my experience with a manager. Once again, you guys are still understaffed to handle a simple phone call even after I complained about it. I don't get it. I could have walked there in this heat 100+ degree heat before getting an answer. What's irritating is as soon as my vehicle is ready (someday I hope) they'll be all smiles and the quality will actually be great. This may be my last visit for service to this dealer. There is no point in trying to contact again if this dealer won't do anything to fix their issues. Why 2 stars and not 1? You guys actually have decent techs that do great work. If it weren't for the techs you'd get 1 star. Always have a service advisor available to answer the phone. So I took my car to get serviced before thanksgiving because there was a list of things needed to be done for the year service or something. Not even a month later my check engine light came on, so I took it in recently on a Friday. Not even a day later the light came back on again... took it in the following Tuesday, after speaking to someone and getting advised to take it in. Dropped my vehicle off at 9 AM and I myself had to go back at 1 PM (no call whatsoever) to ask about my car only to find out it hasn't been checked out. At 3 PM I asked again and waited about 20 minutes to finally get an answer, just to find out that I'd be charged $1,145 for my batteries (because one was "discharged" and basically dead and the auxiliary battery was giving out). I decided not to fix it there, today I went to autozone and found out my main battery is healthy despite being told by the dealership that it was in dire need to be replaced, and walked out of autozone having paid ONLY $156 for a new auxiliary battery and tail light bulbs. Cashier even looked so surprised when I told her the price this dealership was asking for. Lesson of the day folks... know your options and don't get milked/overcharged. PS: The woman who went over the charges and vehicle issues with me gave me the wrong information about which battery was what... had to learn from AutoZone. read more

I came here to drop off my husband's truck which he had already spoke with a service advisor last Friday, November 8th and made the appointment. I stood in line as there were 3 other customers that were being helped ahead of me, but there were 4 service advisors working. I patiently waited and a lady came in after me and all of sudden the 4th advisor was ready to help her instead of me. After all the customer left I stood there still not being helped. Updated review: one-star for salesman Andy because help was non-existent besides lying to us, 5-stars for Mike being extremely accommodating with working out a price that worked and Isela who took excellent care of us in financing. I'm updating my review because I was pressured to leave my original review by the salesman Andy. He sat there and told us in so many words that we had to leave the review before we walked out of the building. It was late about 9:45pm so I obliged when I shouldn't have! Andy was no help from the start. My husband and I knew we wanted this car and had driven in it many times because his brother owns one, so we declined the test drive. Andy threatened us saying it was California law and we *had* to test drive it before we bought it or there would be all sorts of legal issues. My husband doubted that and we looked up this supposed law while Andy went to get the keys. When Andy came back my husband told him we found no such law and he was would need Andy to cite the specific law before we test took the test drive. His response was "well I'm no lawyer so I'll need to go ask." When Andy returned, of course he said there was no law, it was just company policy. We did the test drive so we could buy the car, at this point an hour into our arrival time there. Andy told us NOTHING about the features of the car, but we did hear EVERYTHING about his e-sports business. Granted, we asked no questions about the features because we had done our research and didn't need the info, but Andy didn't know that and this is his job so he should've been reviewing them with us. Andy did none of the heavy lifting, letting Mike go over pricing and run back and forth to find the price that worked for us...but we did hear all about his high school and dating history. At the end of the evening when he asked about the yelp review, he was forward enough to ask about the review on the spot and didn't send us over to financing until I showed that I'd posted the review, telling us they would cut his check in half if we didn't post a positive review. But when I asked about the advertised Starbucks gift card for checking in, all of a sudden he knew nothing. He again mentioned his pay being cut in half to guilt us into completing the emailed survey we would get later. I have yet to complete this. We were friendly to Andy throughout the process because he was a 21-year old kid and we are kind people, but this kind of service is unacceptable. We needed a car that day, otherwise this we would've walked out. I think the dealership is great as far as inventory and price, but would benefit from intensive training in job responsibilities and people skills for their salesman, if Andy is any indication of the rest of the staff. read more
