Great experience. This is our third car purchase here in the past 3 years here. Both Aaron and Jessica were extremely helpful in finding the car that fit our needs while staying within our families budget. They both made what is normally a painful (all day) process into a smooth transaction. I literally called Jessica and told her what I was looking for and she found a car and helped negotiate a great price. Upon coming in, Aaron assisted us through the process and reminded us about the rewards dollars we had yet to use from our last purchase. I have been going to Glendora Chevrolet for maintenance for years. Something has changed. I was charged for work not done. I was told that there was no issue regarding an obvious problem. I wondered if any of the repairs were done because the car was ready much faster than normal and the repair I could physically check was not done. I asked someone in management to put their name behind the repairs. The person designated to do that was the guy who took the original repair order. Worthless and not management. I will not be returning. I gave them every opportunity to make it right. I called three times, emailed several times and made three trips there before deciding to cut my losses. read more

To piggy back on all of the other one star reviews... (First of all, ignore the five star reviews for this dealership, they're fake.) Brought in my brand new truck for an oil change - the man helping me at check-in said they will refill all fluids, check and refill tires, and change the oil. Cost was about $65 (which is freakin ridiculous). i went with it because I was pretty busy that morning. The dealership was particularly packed so i knew the wait would be a while. In 40 min, they called me to pick up my car. I was a bit surprised it was done that early, being so packed, but I didn't discredit them right away. The young mechanic that drove the car to the pick up area looked no older that 18 years old - barely fit into his big baggy uniform. Curious, I looked back at the other mechanics and they, too, looked as if they were teenagers, wearing their father's work clothes and pretending to be busy. I opened the hood when I got to work and saw none of the fluids were filled, tire pressure sensor wasn't reset (so i'm guessing tires weren't refilled), and i wouldn't be a bit surprised if they screwed up replacing the oil filter. As many, many past reviewers have been saying recently, i think they hired an entirely new maintenance staff - a bunch of new mechanics, fresh out of the oven of tech college. Go see for yourself. They're all extremely young, inexperienced, and clearly lazy. Good on chevy for hiring a bunch of students, but come on man. If i'm paying you nearly $70 for an oil change i could do at home, then there NEEDS to be some insanely valuable service you're providing over anyone else that goes above and beyond, especially considering glendora has about 9 private auto shops I could get my oil changes at for $20 (and who would do a better job). Please don't go to this chevy dealership. They charge up the butt for *minimal* work, and the minimal work they charge you for is garbage quality from lazy, young mechanics. There's no inspection or quality accountability for these young bloods. Look up private auto shops in glendora, i'm sure you'll find one that's better rated that's half the cost, with better customer feedback. read more

I am giving 1 star for several reasons. Let's start with the last 2 times I've given Glendora Chevrolet a chance, they've really let me down. I always have an appointment to get a service completed: oil change, tire rotation, recall issue on the car I BOUGHT HERE, whatever I need, I always make an appointment.... I have even traveled 34miles round trip to get my car serviced here because of the service I got from Alex Arce and Terry, but Glendora Chevrolet no longer leaves me with a great taste in my mouth. I used to get taken care of by Alex Arce and Terry, who both get 5 stars for customer service. Even when I had to wait longer than expected for an oil change at a previous time under Terry's care, he made me feel like he was doing his best to help me. I appreciated it and gave the benefit of the doubt. Every time since though, I've been skimped out on or just not taken care of as best as possible as a paying customer: from not getting my free car wash because they were too busy two times, to having to wait OVER 4 hours for an oil change service and simple computer restart on my radio when I HAD AN APPOINTMENT and got there earlier than my appointment! I had also specifically made an appointment for a tire rotation and the recall quick fix, and decided to also add on the oil change to make it cheaper-- they charge 29.99 for a tire change, but will do a tire change with an oil change included... Anyway, that's what I opted for. Furthermore, I got there earlier than my appointment, I had to wait for an additional 15 minutes to even be spoken to in line, because there was a long line of cars in front of me. I was told after waiting for over 4 hours by Sarah, the associate, that my tire rotation was not recommended, that they didn't even do it, that there's no alignment expert on staff today, and that now I'd be only paying for the oil change which is 39.99. (I had a coupon that would've made my total $25{the oil change is $50..my coupon was $25 off $50} if they'd done the tire rotation..which any person could see that was needed if they looked at my front and back tires! They gave me back my coupon and said they'd honor it next time.... hmm) I responded that I was frustrated with them, upset, and as a paying customer for the appointment I made, would like to have been called and informed that information before now, but she deflected and said she was JUST informed a moment before having me pay, that no tire rotation was performed. Ok. It wasn't professional. She didn't apologize and didn't seem to care. Terrible customer service. I will not be giving this service department or sales department another chance. I think you should know how my experience was so you can decide for yourself if you want to give them a try. read more

I took my 2018 silverado with only 49500 miles in for a new noise that sounds like a bearing going out somewhere near the front of the engine.. after trying to get a update through out the day with no return call or left on hold for up to 35 minutes I got a ride to the dealership right before closing time. I was told the noise was normal ?? But here's the kicker. They tried to tell me I needed to replace the heater hose at $1000.00 . There isn't a thing wrong with the heater hose. I informed Paola that I had a pre-approval from Capital One Finance and she smiled and said "yes we work with Capital One". She then said let's start information for the new car and behind my back she went to the finance department and ran my credit. As I was waiting for her to let me know about my trade-in, I was alerted by Capital One that a hard inquiry had hit my credit report bringing my transunion score DOWN 5 points. It was all done with out my consent or knowledge. I have purchased all of my cars from GMC owned dealerships. This really made me lose my trust for American dealerships, I am very disappointed in the general manager who tried to offer me $9,000 for a car that Car Max offered me $17,600. The general manager also said that small SUVs like trax are not sellable, way TO sell Chevy!!! Out of a general managers mouth, WOW!! I waited a while to leave a review hoping Glendora Chevrolet would reach out to my complaints. Not one time did they try to understand my frustration. My husband started his truck remotely that was sitting in our Driveway. He went out to find about 6 quarts of oil running down out nice white driveway. We immediately turned the truck off and grabbed a moving blanket to stop it from running further down the driveway. The truck only had 45,000 miles on it and we just recently bought it. I immediately called Glendora Chevrolet and they said bring it to them but don't drive it. So we had to use our AAA to have it towed same day. They found the oil pan gaskets broke. They replaced them under warranty. That was nice. I explained to them what about my driveway. They said that's my responsibility. So I had to immediately call and have someone come power wash costing us 250 amd the stain is still there. My driveway is ruined. I told Glendora Chevrolet and they said they would talk to the headquarters and still nothing. I called the headquarters myself and they said I have to send a letter in and they would probably deny it. They won't take accountability for their vehicle failure that ruined my driveway. I will never buy another Chevy and I would check your contract when buying a vehicle from them that it should say they will pay for any damages they have caused by a mechanical malfunction. read more

I made an appointment for an alignment and diagnostic on a check engine light a week before I took my car in at 8am. I was told that the alignment would be done by noon but the check light would probably take longer because there where 3 cars in front of mine with engine lights. I thought no problem but I would be without a car all day so I made arrangements for my son to be picked up from school at 3. By 3:30 I inquired about my car and the service writer couldn't be reached so I left a message asking for an update. I needed my car back by the end of the day so by 4:30 I decided to walk to the dealership to pick up my car thinking that at least the alignment would be done and I would have to return another day for the engine light. To my surprise no work was done on my car all day and I was told that the engine light was going to be diagnosed before the alignment. The exact opposite of what the service writer told me. I wont be back for service at this dealership and I wouldn't recommend anyone else go there for service. read more

I just bought a 2019 Traverse and got a great deal thanks to Aaron Hernandez and his sales manager Ehab! My husband and I have been going from dealership to dealership for the past couple weeks test driving Highlanders, Durango's, Traverses etc. to see what we liked before we made a decision for our next family car. We told him the ballpark price we were wanting to walk out the door at and with the help of his manager Ehab, they made it happen today! I can honestly say this experience was the quickest and least stressful car buying experience I've ever had. We got to the dealership at about 11 am and despite looking at multiple vehicles, having our little kids running around all over the place and interrupting our conversations, and after syncing our phones and setting up our OnStar account etc., we drove out of the lot at about 2 pm! September 2019 I purchased a brand new 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. When I purchased my vehicle, it did not come with a wheel lock. Now having tire issues I realized I never received one. The dealership is expecting me to purchase new wheel locks for my Tahoe because the sales person didn't make sure I had everything I needed for the vehicle. After speaking with guys from the parts division as well as the sales manager, no one seems to be able to help me. It is not my fault they did not give my car a wheel lock when I purchased. Abe Khalaf was the sales manager helping us at the time and stated that our sons pre approval was not valid "anyone can bring this in" Abe then stated "you have to fill out a credit application and run your credit again to submit paperwork to our credit union REFUSING to use his pre approval! They ran our sons credit again and ran it through their channels (AFTER I REPEATEDLY TOLD ABE I WANTED THE PAPERWORK SENT WHERE HE RECEIVED THE PRE APPROVAL!) to what I know now from ANOTHER manager Chris was done for a bank commission! He then was approved for a lower amount and higher rate for going with his contact for a commission. Chris (Another sales manager) told me "it's our option to pick the bank we want! Even if you are asking us to use who you got your pre approval from it is OUR OPTION to use anyone we want. This my friends is illegal!!! Went to this dealership over the memorial weekend to hopefully get a better deal on a car. The initial salesperson was pretty much useless and knew very little about the car I was looking at purchasing... some of the questions I asked were met with "I don't know" and made zero attempt to get them answered. So I requested to speak to someone who might be able to actually help me get into the car I was coming to purchase. I was then taken to speak with the manager, you know the manager that is there to "close" the deal.... you know, the aggressive "tell me how much you want to spend a month" kinda comments only to have them waste your time and come back with an inflated amount. Anyways, after wasting my entire afternoon (4hrs) I was able to, by means of a lot of arguing and back and fourths get them to agree to the $ terms I was able to afford. And like any good sales manager every question I asked after I already said "yes, let's close the deal" was met with a very prompt "yes" or "of course" and to my surprise everything I was told by sales team I dealt with include the manager who had the final say on the pricing terms was pretty much all lies. I was told I was going to be able to return to the dealership the following day to pick up documents I needed to begin using the vehicle for its intended purpose and it's now been 3 days since those agreements were made and every call I have made attempting to collect those documents have been met with "just give us another day or so" WTF! Don't go here unless you like getting ripped off and scammed, dealership tried to tell me my truck with only 50,000 miles was losing three injectors and a 02 sensor Omar the service writer was playing games and saying vehicle was ready 20 minutes prior to closing so I can rush over and pick it up since I needed the truck the next day , vehicle was given back with hard fault codes causing unsafe driving conditions due to lack of steering assist, vehicle was left in four-wheel-drive also causing the truck to bind when steering ( I was unaware of this when It was driven home as the wife drove the vehicle not me) , had to take vehicle back to them and explain to them what they had done because they wanted to try to upsell me more parts once I told them they had caused the ECM and PCM codes after doing there injector flow test , and all they had to do was to clear the codes they made my wife and kids wait for two hours to do so when i was told it was a 15 minute job , charged me a diagnosis fee for a bogus diag ( no parts were changed and the truck now has no codes and is clear of problems , amazing after they probably updated the software and cleared the codes , things that are covered under warranty ) , I am an experienced automotive and heavy equipment mechanic so the vehicle was taken in due to emissions issues , like I explained to the service writer maybe my truck needs a software update or it had a software glitch but I wanted to get it checked out due to the vehicle being covered under emissions warranty , I didn't want to cause further damage if something was wrong , Unless you are a experience mechanic and are able to call their bluff they will scam you for all the money they can get and John the service manager won't even answer my calls , it won't surprise me if a comment is added to call them for further assistance on this matter. I dropped my car off for a module repair as it is a safety hazard due to no sound in the vehicle. This includes turn signals, seatbelt warning, and key in the ignition. All very hazardous and likely for theft. This is the same issue as the 2013 Spark, i have a 2014 Spark. But apparently it only the 2013 is covered under recall but it was the same issue. They tried to charge me $160 for diagnostic. Upon my mother and I expressing our concern, we agreed to $80. I get a call later stating it will be 3 hours. Cool. Three days go by, we have to call. No progress made on the vehicle, it was blamed on GM. Another 3 days go by, again, no one calls us for status. We were constantly told by Orlando and Alex that we would get a call back. WE NEVER DID. Until finally my mom (her name is also on the car) gets a hold of the manager of the dealership. THEN we get a call back from Alex, hmmm funny how we needed to reach a higher up for communication. Alex also refused to take any responsibility and blame it on my car advisor Odin whom was the only one to ever call back but was out for a few days (via why Alex and Orlando were contacted) It wasn't until then that i was offered a rental. This is almost TWO WEEKS after dropping off my car. We have made every contact. Why wasn't i I offered a rental after one week? When picking up said rental, Orlando was very rude! Upon waiting for who knows how long outside, I opened the door because how long do they Expect to leave a pregnant woman outside in the heat, i was yelled at! I get there are precautions because of COVID but leaving a customer outside in the heat is ridiculous. As i finally got into the rental, I saw my car, OUTSIDE the garage. No one was ever working on my car! I was left carless for TWO WEEKS with no communication, now it makes sense because they never were working on my car! It is ridiculous how since i had the rental, my car was magically done within a DAY! So the only way to get work done on your car is to have a rental?! Your service staff needs a whole course on customer service, starting with Alex and Orlando. Will NEVER go here again. It's worth the extra few miles to go to Mark Christopher. Given my mother and grandmother have purchased 3 cars from you guys, i had high hopes. Nope. Shitty service from shitty people who do not care about the customer. Get another job!
