They bring me oil colors so I can see the difference between my dirty colors and the new vibrant colors I should have. So of course I want my car to run great so im saying yes to every new filter and yes to every new fluid but Im not a mechanic so im trusting them like I've trusted my last oil change place. There is a good energy here and I hope they are doing everything they say they are doing because this is my only vehicle and Im a single mom with 2 teenagers. However less than a week later the tray under my car detached partially and was flapping harshly when I would go over 40mph. Luckily my boyfriend was willing to spend his entire lunch break going back to wait in line for them to reattach it properly. They did fix the issue no questions asked, however they didn't expedite his position in line or offer anything for the trouble. In the end I'm happy with the result, however I did want to let people know to be aware of this potential issue.

I'm not mechanically skilled, so it was good to see how they checked for puncturing. And by extension, showing that work is being done. I'm sort of leaving this as a thank you for that service, knowing I might not be able to return for awhile. His service was also provided during a tough time in my life. He always charged me a fair price which is why I respect him a lot. I've never had a BS service recommended by him. Everything is "hey, look at this" or "this is what is wrong". I called this Jiffy Lube since it was close to the location I was currently at. I needed an oil change instantly and battery check. I called and they said bring my car right over no line at all. I drove here and I must say the gentleman was super friendly, I told him exactly what I needed done, and he was on it. Took about 15-20 minutes or less. No hassle at all. He even gave me a free True Brand Fuel to try, demonstrated how to use it by saving 40 miles at most for my fuel tank. They definitely value new customers, and I have a reason to come back if I needed something done instantly. Most places will try to sell you things or tell you need to get this and that changed etc. He did check my car out and said everything was fine.

Because of that, I came back for multiple oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I was charged a high price for what should have been a simple oil change and cabin/air filter replacement, and I ended up waiting about two hours for the work to be completed. After talking it through with someone more familiar with car maintenance, it became clear that I was likely overcharged for a job that should have been quicker and more reasonably priced. What made the experience worse was the interaction before my appointment. When I asked for clarification about being told I may need "air," EU laughed at me for asking. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes take things more literally, so I was just trying to confirm whether I was being charged for something that is often free. Instead of explaining, I felt mocked for asking a simple question. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or confident returning here. I'm sharing this as a caution for other customers--especially women and neurodivergent people--who may not be as familiar with car maintenance and rely on mechanics to be honest, respectful, and transparent.

Gary, the manager, personally added oil and had a lovely young man who was, of course, sweating, added air to my tires. This is the great service this location of Expertec provides. Normally, it's preferable to make an appointment and Mike will drive you home or to the office AND pick you up when your car is ready. I have never had such good service anywhere! I think they're priced fairly compared to other places in the area. I like that they're open on weekends too. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I'm also super wary of being taken advantage of which happens almost every where I go. I will say they did tell me my car passed their inspection then tried to recommend a bunch of services I'd had done recently. They didn't push me to get them or try to scare me into thinking my car was going to explode if I didn't do the recommended services lol. However, right as I was about to drive off, a worker spotted it. The service lead immediately let me know and offered a discount on the replacement bulb. The last time I brought my vehicle to Valvoline for service, I had my tires rotated. At no point…read moredid the technicians inform me that my tires were severely worn on the inner edges. The wear was so bad that it created a serious safety concern and could have resulted in a tire failure or blowout while I was driving on the freeway. Because of that experience, during my most recent service I specifically asked the technician to check whether my tires were wearing on the inner edges. I was shocked when he told me that he doesn't do that. Afterward, I looked into Valvoline's policy and learned that tire inspections are not part of their service. I understand that now, but I think customers should be made aware of this especially when having their tires rotated. I had assumed that if a technician was removing and rotating my tires and noticed severe or potentially dangerous wear, they would bring it to my attention. If you need anything done involving your tires, I would NOT recommend coming here. Take your vehicle somewhere that actually inspects the condition and wear of your tires. Tires are a critical safety component, and severe inner edge wear can be difficult for the average driver to see. This is a huge safety concern for me. My tires were worn badly enough on the inside that I could have experienced a tire failure on the freeway, yet I left my previous service without anyone warning me. Customers should know that having their tires rotated at Valvoline does not necessarily mean their tires are being inspected for dangerous wear.
