I've come to him for oil changes, tire rotors,tire rods replacements ,etc etc and have only had great results time and time again. I can never seem to find a good honest mechanic, it feels like they always see a woman and see dollar signs. But I am so happy with the service I received. The owner was very knowledgeable and honest, I even thought I needed new brakes but he confirmed I still had a few hundred more miles, but he could have easily just sold me the new brakes but he didn't. BEST mechanic in Orange County. I bounced around to a few places and never found someone I trust until finding Reliable Auto. I've been coming to Wagigh (owner operator) for at least 3 years now and other ratings say it all... HONEST and best pricing by far. Wagigh doesn't sell on the riff raff you have to routinely say "no" to at other quick lube spots (wipers, filter, etc that are extremely overpriced). Instead he tells you the best place you can buy it for cheap or if he has it in stock sells it to you at that price. Same goes for recommendations on brakes tires fluids etc, best price by far and honest to say you can wait until next oil change to address it. I've price checked him not just on oil changes (cheaper than jiffy lube or Valvoline or anywhere even after factoring in coupons) but also on timing belts and brakes too. I truly appreciate him as a mechanic and person and wanted to share my experience. Bring your car here once for an oil change and you'll be a customer for life. read more

An amazing man changed my oil, very meticulous in everything he did. After he was done changing my oil, he didn't have any oil on him lol. Every person that has ever changed My oil is covered in dirt and I fear for them getting into my car after being so soiled with oil. He was not. He keeps his shop neat and clean and that's gonna represent how he's gonna treat your car. Keeping it Neat and clean. He is very thorough. Oh yea..I asked for a tire rotation..he told me the price and I said OK. He then looked at my rear tires and said if I rotated my back tires to the front it would feel like my car was out of alinement because of one of the rear tires were new. I found Wagih on Groupon last year and WOW- did I really find an honest mechanic?!?! Yes! He will tell you exactly what you need and if he can't do it at a reasonable price, he'll direct you right to someone who can. He won't tell you something needs to be done if it in fact doesn't. His prices are more than fair (so DO NOT haggle him to go any lower!). Last week I brought my daughter's car for an oil change and transmission flush but her car's transmission is in a place that takes much more time to get to- Wagih called around and found it would be cheaper for me to take to the dealer than the price he would need to charge for labor and parts. He did the oil change, rotated tires and referred us to make the appt with the dealer around the corner. I appreciated Wagih looking out for our dollar rather than just trying to make money. Have had my oil changed twice now with him, both spur of the moment, and he does a great job, very quickly, with no issues, and both times he gave me a big discount on a synthetic oil change, which is shocking to me how much they are now, but he gave it to me for $65, but he didn't have change so he let me pay him $60, which was VERY kind of him, and he refilled my fluids! He has a Groupon for a conventional oil change I think for $25, but my car takes synthetic, so it's a lot more. So if you need a regular oil change, ask if he'll give you the Groupon price, I'm sure he will, cuz you'll save a ton, which it's tough right now with everything being SO expensive, thanks to Massive Inflation, so he literally made my day, both times, as I was in a hurry and desperately needed an oil change! He said it had used ALL of the oil, so I'm SO glad I came in to do it TODAY, and I'm SO grateful he had the time to help me!! Since my car has had trouble starting lately he tested the battery for free and found me a great price on one, that other places said would be way more, and he is putting it in for me, again much cheaper than other places would've charged me so I'm very happy to have found a mechanic that is reasonably priced, and I feel confident I can trust him to do a good job. I am struggling financially and prayed to know where to go for my little Ecosport, because I'm SO afraid of Jiffy Lube, and those kind of places how they damage peoples cars, as I've heard horror stories, and after reading the reviews, they all were very scary. And of course the price is an issue as well. So after praying for the right place, I had a feeling to look on my dash and low and behold there was the sticker from my past oil change, here in HB, so I knew I could trust him, because GOD sent me TO him, and both times the experience left me with a great feeling, which is not always the case with car places! Great auto shop. Wagih (wah-gee) is helpful and honest. I've been looking for a mechanic since I moved here and finally I've found Wagih. He answers questions to the best of his knowledge and honestly. First I had him do a simple oil change on one car then I had him look at my other car the following week. That car had been "smoking" as it got warm (usually 2-10 min after starting) and I smelt burning oil. I noticed a cracked exhaust manifold under the hood and another mechanic said the smoking shouldn't be a big deal (at that time it wasn't a lot of smoke). Then it got worse. That's when I took it to Reliable and he knew what it was within seriously 10 seconds of looking at it (I was sure to heat it up well on the way over to make the smoke visible). Turns out it was an incorrect seal that an old mechanic put in and it was worn out & brittle. He fixed it and replaced the plugs and their wiring as well as an oil service for a pretty fair price and now it runs great with no smoking! Brought my car in for Oil Change. Wagih then said my Honda Pilot needed brake pads in the Rear. A guy delivered the brake pads within 15 mins. He showed me where they were made, Japan. I was happy. He also showed me how thin my pads were. I was glad I decided to do it. He also replace my windshield wipers. Costs were fair and low. Was very happy with everything.
